You can pay 10€ at the hotel for their secure gated parking, but there is ample free parking outside the hotel. The hotel is located about a 25-minute walk from the port, in a quiet residential area. There is a bus service close by. Breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal. However, the restaurant isn't open 7 evenings a week, so you'll need to check for specific dates. All of the hotel staff that we encountered were, without exception, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a "new-style" room with a huge comfy double bed - well worth the few extra euros!

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel itself, but bear in mind that if you are in Cartagena for the sightseeing, and unless you really love to walk, you will need to use the bus or car.

Excellent receptionist, Jorges was very welcoming, informative and efficient. He was good at his job and clearly wanted us to be happy with our stay! The room, as always, was smart, comfortable and clean with tea & coffee making facilities. It was quiet and relaxing, with a bathroom that had a powerful shower with good hot water supply…..the toiletries etc are ideal.

On this one occasion only, the breakfast experience was very different. There were celebrations taking place in the Hotel, so our buffet style breakfast was available in a windowless meeting room below the reception level. The available hot food was sparse as was the hot milk for drinks and it all took some time to be replenished, probably because the kitchen was not directly accessible. The breakfast food was not disastrous but did not meet its usual high standard of presentation or location. Had this been a first visit I would question whether to book breakfast again.

The staff at NH Campo Cartagena were all absolutely customer focused and delightful. The hotel is easy to find and has ample free street parking around it, and 2 large supermarkets within a few minutes walk. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. As Cartagena is a relatively small town, the hotel ideally located to just go out and wander around the Old Town area. We enjoyed our stay and I have no qualms in recommending it to others.

Quiet location, modern, clean & comfortable accommodation. Always plenty of hot water and a super drenching shower. Yea & coffee making facilities a nice addition. Good service and excellent breakfast choice. Staff very friendly and attentive. Have stayed on numerous occasions for all these reasons .

The shower screen in the bathroom of room 223 was looking tired and was leaking along the seal to the bath, so it could do with a facelift to keep it all looking pristine. It’s a shame there isn’t a balcony on the rooms, to feel some outside air & space, so the park is the next best option.

Ideal for short stay during festivals when there are late starts & even later finishes! Always clean & comfortable. On check out the young male receptionist was very friendly and efficient, he even recognised that we were going to return later in the week.

Unfortunately on this occasion when we checked in during the afternoon, the young female receptionist seemed rather aloof, very brusque and struggled to be gracious on 3 different occasions. As an example, when we needed to enquire how to access to WiFi connection passwords etc, she seemed quite belittling. Wifi access details had not been provided, neither were they in the room. Her attitude was so out of character compared with numerous previous NH Campo experiences over the years.

We didn't have the buffet breakfast, but they did make us Coffee and toast. Which was great. We arrived in time for the Roman festival, which was fantastic, and a must see. We were walking distance from the centre, and they have secure parking.

There's a poor government housing estate next to the hotel which caused us some nervessness, but we didn't have any problems or see anyone to worry about.

The hotel was lovely & very clean. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, coffee maker, kettle, mini bar etc. A refreshing water drink was available at the reception on arrival, which was a nice touch.

It was too far out of the centre for us unfortunately. There were no other restaurants, cafes, bars etc nearby, although it was handy to have a supermarket beside it. The bar in the hotel could have been better but did not have enough of the spirit that I was drinking for a second drink. We also could only find one TV channel that was English speaking, which was a shame, as we like to chill out before going out in the evening.

A modern new build hotel with good facilities, off street parking which is secure and only €10. Large double room wit super air conditioning and safe and fridge. Comfy bed.

Theory downside is that it's in a bit of a run down area. Though it's a short 0.8 mile walk into the city.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. And the food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. I was so impressed with my experience at this hotel that I'm already planning a return trip to Cartagena, and of course, I'll be staying at this hotel again. I booked this hotel as we had a car and it had plenty of parking. The hotel is out of the main tourist area and in a very local (and sometimes dirty) area but it still felt safe enough to walk around even at night. The hotel is very modern and clean and my husband enjoyed using the facilities at the gym. Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom and it overlooked the nearby park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a big supermarket next door and walking distance to a Carrefour and Burger King. We walked into the centre of Cartagena and it was about a 25-30mins walk, a bit further to the port area. Check the opening times of the attractions though as everything was closed late Sunday and Monday during our stay. We drove to Cala Cortina, a beautiful little beach only about 5kms from the hotel, would definitely recommend a visit if you have a car.

Nothing, it was fine for a couple of nights stay!
