The pool area was lovely and breakfast was good. The location was a bit of a walk but was worth it for the pool, wouldn't have got that nearer the town.

The bar area was exceptionally noisy. The acoustics in this area cause massive problems and it would be impossible to use a hearing aid there. We were going to eat in the restaurant but the noise from the bar was too loud. Whoever designed that area has no idea of how sound reverberates I only hope the staff have ear protection.

Room was a good size and comfortable. Didn’t sleep brilliantly due to other guests up and down the corridor. Breakfast was as expected. Continental and a good choice. We managed to park right outside the hotel. Pleasant swimming pool area (we did not use this facility)

Lack of menu items for dinner. No kettle in room - it seems to be hit and miss in Europe as to whether the room has a kettle Shower over bath. Would have preferred a walk in shower.

My wife and I were amazed at the high standard of this overnight stay. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke perfect English which we were extremely grateful for. The room was very modern and very clean with plenty of space to move around. This was extreme value for money. If only all hotels had this high standard of professionalism at this fair price, it would be great. We will definitely use this hotel again. Thank you.

We liked everything.

The room was very well priced, easy to find with sat nav and good parking . Reception was welcoming, helpful & efficient. Very good english spoken. The room (queen room) was excellent, very comfortable and met us needs very well. Although a leisure trip we had some zoom business meetings to conduct and the room accommodated for that very well.

No kettle or provision to make a hot drink without going to the bar or restaurant. This seems to be the case in all of the hotels we stayed in, however, in Spain & Portugal. Cups of tea are a very English need.

This hotel is very well located , we could just leave the car in their secured car park and walk to the city. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and of a good size, the staff nice and good breakfast with quite a large buffet. We stopped on our way to Portugal and loved it so we decided to stop there again on the way back.

It would be nice to have a kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

Pool not being open

We have been staying at this Hotel for the past 15 years, on the way to our holiday home on the Costa del Sol, but as the property is now been sold sadly this will be our last visit. Over the past 4 years we had seen a decline in the service provided, but we're pleased that this year we saw a vast improvement of the service, espically in the bar, where they had a good choice of food available throughout the day. We hope this high standard will continue

All good, no bad comments necessary

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location was perfect for us as we came by car, parking was both easy and secure, and yet we had a level, easy walk into the town where we could see and enjoy all the main sites.

Nothing, we were very impressed and satisfied.

It's got a very large bright and welcoming foyer which gives it that high class feel. The receptionist welcomed ft us and efficiently booked us in. Our room was large clean and comfortable. The restaurant served a four course meal for just €16.00 a head. Excellent value for a good meal. There is a good sized car park around the hotel plus an underground car park. Our car was safe parked in the open car park overnight. The hotel is right opposite Carrefour hyper market

No coffee or tea making facilities on the room. The food, although good, could have been served hotter. The soup was piping hot but the main course was, just warm.

Location was literally off the main road into Salamanca. Staff were friendly. Food was good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Parking included on site.

I would book this for a function or a work trip. I would book it again. I really liked the food, too, but I would not book it for a romantic get away or for a memorable hotel experience.
