This hotel was absolutely amazing. It is such a beautiful, historical building. There was a little cafe connected to the hotel and there was outside seating to the side of the hotel - a sun trap - we enjoyed sitting in the sun having a coffee right by our hotel. The location was just brilliant - we were alongside the walls of the Mosque/Cathedral. The river was just across from us. Our room was fantastic. We had a lovely bathroom too. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was quiet and could be completely dark with the shutters etc. We had a kettle and full tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was very good - lots to choose from - savoury and sweet. We just loved this hotel.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like about this hotel.

Hotel overall was very good and in an excellent location in the heart of the Albaicin region. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, fresh linen and towels every day. Air conditioning very effective. Bed very comfortable enabling excellent sleep . Our trip was for our wedding anniversary and we had bubbly in our room which we thought was a nice touch. Plenty on offer for breakfast for all tastes. We had requested a room with a view of the Alhambra and believed there would be two comfortable chairs to sit and look at this view in the evening as per the photographs on the hotel website. However our room, although nice , had a side view of the Alhambra and no comfy chairs only hard back chairs at the desk. Due to this being a special occasion we asked about the room, the staff kindly showed us two other rooms that we could move to between guests. Although they had direct view of the Alhambra there were no comfy chairs either so we decided to stay in our original room. We believe the picture on the website was of the suite which was slightly misleading. Overall lovely long weekend. Thank you

Slightly disappointed with the view as expecting a room with comfy chairs looking directly at the Alhambra as per pictures. Staff very helpful at offering a different room between guests . We believe the pictures on the website were of the suite which was a bit misleading.

The location in the centre of Granada was perfect for exploring all of the significant places of interest. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, they had excellent knowledge of the city and recommended some hidden treasures of back street bars and restaurants frequented by Spanish locals instead of tourists. Our rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed . The building is extremely interesting with small connecting areas and corridors, whilst retaining its original beauty and charm.

Everything was perfect for me but I would not recommend this hotel to someone with mobility difficulties. That is not a criticism in any way , it’s purely an observation. The building has history and character which cannot be adapted.

We had a lovely view of the alhambra and it was very close to the main laneway by the river with plenty happening on the streets for Semana Santa. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming with bookings and helpful advice about processions. Thank you Aram and Anna. Recommend the flamenco in the cave at Sacromento - a great intimate experience.

Initially quite noisy but we closed all the doors and shutters for following nights and slept well. Processions were amazing but it was extremely busy. Cobbled narrow laneways and plenty of stairs, so we had to walk with luggage a lot but had a great stay.

What a fantastic hotel. It is in and old building with huge character and many comfortable areas where you could sit and read. Clean and comfortable room with fridge and kettle. Breakfast was excellent with a large range of hot and cold foods. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location close to the city centre and the Alhambra. I can't understand why some people say it is hard to find and up a hill. It is literally 50 metres from the road up about 12 small steps with a large sign pointing the way! This is a hotel I would definitely stay at again

Everything was perfect.

The hotel was so well situated for easy walking to lovely restaurants and shops all within the Albayzin. We had wonderful views of the Alhambra from our room. Our room was comfortable and clean. Ana was very helpful at reception for dinner reservations and a fantastic recommendation for Flamenco dancing. The hotel serves a nice breakfast. The overall charm of the mudejar style building was unique and delightful. The hotel is well renovated. Taxis do pickup right at the street below the hotel steps which was convenient.

We are seniors and there are steps up to the hotel. They are not steep and narrow, rather wide and long, but it required help from staff with luggage.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, giving great advice on where to go/how to get about. We were only there for an overnight but were able to leave luggage before and after checking in/out which gave us plenty of time to enjoy Granada. Lovely little hotel, fairly easy to get to. We had hired a car and followed the hotel instructions on parking in the town centre and took a cab to the hotel. There's a taxi rank right next to the car park so that was easy and because the hotel is in the old medieval town the taxi was ideal. The cab driver knew exactly where to go. There's also a discount on parking that the hotel provide. Breakfast was good and opened a little earlier than usual for guests who needed it...we (along with most guests) were going to an early tour of the Alhambra (which is magnificent and can be seen from the hotel) so it was really helpful that they opened breakfast a bit earlier. All in all a lovely trip that was enhanced by a lovely little hotel and terrific staff.

From the greeting at reception to the great nights sleep, the hotel was fantastic. Superb location, with a room overlooking the Alhambra. Comfy bed in a beautiful building. I would definitely recommend the Palacio de Santa Ines and will book with them again when we return to Granada.

Nothing, the hotel exceeded our expectations and was perfect.

Location provided good walking access to the Alhambra, cathedral and dinner options. Room was clean and comfortable and a good value. Staff was very friendly.

Needed better parking instructions to avoid roads with restricted access. Need to provide GPS location to park car in easy to access email and test format. These instructions should be clear on the bookings.com listing.

We had a lovely apartment with a view of the Alhambra- the whole hotel has a charming historical air, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent as a base to visit the Alhambra and the Albaicin, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. We got around on foot, the train station is a comfortable half an hour walk away with many interesting sights along the way, a good option to consider if you travel light.
