The apartment was well-equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher and a complete kitchen with a full fridge, microwave, stove etc. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious. A special mention for their very kind gesture of providing a breakfast starter kit, which includes milk, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar. The reception staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. We were sent detailed instructions on approach, so the steep narrow roads did not come as a surprise- we took their recommendation of a taxi from the train station (10E). The Albaizin area was fun to explore and live in, while very close to Alhambra too.

Apartment kitchen did not have blinds so there was a privacy issue; possibly accidental as we noticed the next door apartment kitchen had blinds. Stairs in the apartment lead to the bedrooms and bathrooms, which was fun initially but got tiring, especially as we had to leave our large bags downstairs in the living area. Shelf is needed in the shower area.

The location in the old Albaicin area was very good, only a 5 minute walk to the main centre of town. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed provided. The underfloor heating was excellent. The view from the terrace was lovely. We came by car and the directions provided before arrival were very detailed. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

We loved staying at Smart Suites Albaicín. The only small criticism is the low height of the upstairs bathroom made it a bit difficult to use. If arriving by car you need to be prepared to drive down narrow streets sometimes not much wider than your car.

Beautiful layout and grounds, with many area to sit outside. Great location to walk into town or the Mirada de San Nicolas. The absolute best part of my stay was the staff in reception!! When my Uber to the Alhambra did not show up, I was afraid that I would be late for my 8:30 AM entry time. The receptionist and I believe a maintenance worker both contacted a taxi company. The taxi arrived in five minutes. The receptionist walked out and waited with me and made sure I got into the right cab. She also told the driver which exact entry to take me to. I made my entrance on time and had a wonderful time at the Alhambra. This was service above and beyond!!!

Absolutely loved this place and will.come back and stay here again if I come back to Granada. The staff were lovely and the accommodation great. Location is midway between the hills and centre so yes you do need to go up the hill to get there but you know what I don't mind works your legs and glutes but not for everyone but fear not you can always get taxi up or the bus. The reception staff attentive. The room great and shower and kitchen and TV facilities amazing and they have their own restaurant with views view views of the city! Great sunset but it does close before the sun actually sets. The thing I loved about it sound trivial but they provide salt and pepper if you want to make your own food unfortunately no oil. And also they provide some milk for your tea and coffee, sounds trivial but if you have done as much travelling as me then you know you know you just want that cup of tea with milk and the disappointment. But yes must stay. They also upgrade me to a terrace roo. which I was ❤❤❤.

My only negative was the floors were a bit dusty did not like that so walked around in flip flops. Did not get any slippers.

It's very clean. It is in a great location. It was wonderful to have a terrace with a view of the Alhambra. It was very useful to have both a dishwasher and a clothes washer. The kitchen was fully functional and useful. Was great that they replenished bathroom soaps as well as dish soap and laundry soap. It was great that they provided a coffee maker and really good coffee and they replenished it when it ran out. It was nice having a living room and a bedroom and the couch in the living room was very comfortable.

It's a shame I can't give this a 10. But there were two significant problems. First there is a problem in that room with noise, both from the street and from the interior hallways. There was also noise from next door and from above when they moved their chairs or when those rooms were being cleaned. These noises were significant enough to wake a person up or to disturb them in work. The second significant problem was that the Wi-Fi was very low-quality. I could only have a voice conversation with my wife in California when there was very little traffic such as at 6:00 in the morning.

The host is extremally friendly and informative. It's located up hill so there's a bit of stairs to reach the town. But the streets are very pretty and many interesting shops along the way. The rooms are very spacious, simple renovation but comfortable stay. Infront of the restaurant is a great place to watch sunset.

We love the place very much. Please take a cab from train/coach station to this apartment , because it's not easy to carry your luggage up here .

Clean and quiet. Apartment has view of Granada from every room! All three bed rooms have view to Alhambra. Two out of the three bedrooms have on suite bathroom. Kitchen is very well equipped, dishwasher soap, laundry soap are provided as well as free coffee pods and cookies. Living room is huge and nicely decorated. Dinning area has big table that can fit 10 people easily. Pool is clean and has wooden lounge chairs and shade. We used the pool very afternoon. Balcony has small table and chair where we can sit and sip coffee. Living room, pool and kitchen, all have nice view of Granada. Reception is opened from 9am to 9pm, receptionist is very nice and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again when we visit Granada.

Overall this is one of the nicest places I have stayed + more value for money spent. This is one of the hotels I wished I could have stayed for atleast an additional night to relax and explore Granada. Unit size - Pretty big including kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, nespresso. The unit was clean with enough spacing for storage Bed - Comfortable, clean including the sofa bed. Bath - good sized, clean with toiletries and towels included AC - operational and kept the room cool Staff and service - Very friendly, helpful and we were allowed to check out early+ leave our baggage in the storage space, car in the parking garage until late afternoon. The friendly lady at the front desk during our check in was helpful giving us suggestions for things to do including the sunset view, restaurant options and directions. Location - Beautiful, scenic but very narrow streets to drive and reach the hotel. Follow google maps if not you can get lost or stuck in a narrow street. The hotel blends in with the houses in the street so hard to spot unless one is paying attention. Luckily the lady at the front desk saw us searching for the address and guided us to the underground parking in one of the buildings nearby. We rented a medium SUV and were able to drive through the streets following the maps. We saw someone trying to drive through a narrow street close to the hotel and it was not the google maps direction. Luckily the front desk lady stopped them from driving further before getting the mirrors scratched and the car stuck in a youtube/tik tok famous situation. Close to the main areas including restaurants, cafes, public transportation, view points. It is a 30 minute walk to the Alhambra Palace but the walk is nice through the shopping area, cafes, view points before reaching the starting point for the walk up a slight elevated walkway. The sunset view points are within 15 minutes from the hotel.

We booked 2 two-bedroom apartments for 2 families and we were all happy with the facilities. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with separate in-suite bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and there’s nothing for us to complain about. We parked in the underground parking garage for a fee of €15/night. We were also happy with the staff who were onsite and helpful with directions to Alhambra and other attractions. We read a lot of reviews about steep and narrow streets but didn’t find that to be an issue at all. Just need to be careful as any other old towns across Spain.

The apartment is on top of the hill and can be a little trouble for people with mobility issues.

Fantastic property in the Old Town of Granada. Short walk to amazing restaurants, bars and shops. Close to the famous San Nicolas view point, where you get incredible views of Alhambra Palace and Fortress. The accommodation was very spacious and clean. And the staff at reception were extremely helpful and polite. We were there during the countrywide blackout, and when we got back to our apartment in the evening we found a box of matches and several candles in our room so we had some light. Which was a really nice touch, considering the unprecedented circumstances. Would definitely recommend this place.
