Excellent location just opposite the Cathedral. I had a room with view of the Alhambra from the balcony. The hotel is a very old building with a courtyard as in Andalucia, but very well maintained. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, where you can catch a bus to go up to Alhambra. Staff very polite and helpful, even booked a cab for me to go to the bus station.

Though I had a fantastic view from the room, being on upper floor meant having to carry heavy suitcase up the steep staircase. There is an elevator till Floor 3, so please be aware when choosing your room. Some more warm items would have been nice in the breakfast menu.

The location was perfect, close to the old town and bus lines. Loads of great places to eat and shop if you want to indulge. The room was a good size, and although the bathroom was a little squishy, it was perfectly fine. There is a step in bath and a step to the toilet if you have mobility issues. There are also a few steps to reception but lifts to all other floors. Everything was clean and well-maintained. No effort to get a kettle, iron, and ironing board. Breakfast was very good for a reasonable cost. Staff were very professional and helpful. I'm happy to recommend it. Stayed in a single room.

Nothing to raise.

We stayed for two nights and this hotel was an excellent choice for the price. It’s located in a very central area in the old town, near bars and restaurants and within walking distance to all the main attractions. Although it may need a renovation, has a lot of charm and authenticity. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a real highlight — spacious, with a window and even a balcony. Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-located and affordable place to stay in Granada.

The location is easily accessible, with famous tapas bars around. My room was big enough, with nice facilities, and most of all with a view of Alhambra! Very helpful staffs helped me when arriving late at night with a flight/baggage delay issue - they were all so kind enough to take care and notice me via email when my luggage arrive the next day.

The room with a view was on the 4th floor and the elevator goes up to 3rd floor only - which means I have to carry all my bags and walk up the stairs for one more floor. Also the famous tapas area means that it is very crowded during evening-night, though it was not an issue from my room.

Wow, beautiful old hotel, had a lot of charm and period features. Very central location about 3 minutes walk from the cathedral, also not far from the Alhambra. Nice breakfast, though only continental available, but with the proper Serrano style ham. All staff pleasant and helpful. We had room 403 which had a balcony with a view of the Alhambra, though we did pay a little extra for this room. Room had a little sitting area with table and 2 easy chairs and a nice bathroom. Would definitely stay again if we return to Granada.

Nothing, all good.

Perfect location in the centre of Granada. We arrived by train and it was an easy bus ride from the railway station. The hotel is in a lively street with popular bars and cafes but inside is cool and calm and you can't hear a thing from your room. We slept really well in our simple, clean room. Breakfast was really good and all the staff are so helpful and friendly. There was no problem storing our bags before or after check in leaving us free to explore gorgeous Granada. We walked from Hotel Inglaterra to the Alhambra in about 20 minutes (the return was quicker as it's downhill!) Highly recommended.

Everything was great

Location is excellent for visiting the sights in Granada. Soundproofing for outside good. I like dropping the key at reception when going out - less responsibility and I don't have to carry a clunky key. Good heat and hot water. Daily housekeeping. Clean, up-to-date facility. Reasonable price for the good quality of the accommodation.

Interior soundproofing isn't the best... We had a couple of laughs, and some revulsion, at our neighbor's morning and evening hawking up episodes in his adjacent bathroom.

The hotel is beautiful and feels very "old school" Spanish. We felt welcome when we arrived and the receptionist was very helpful. The position of the hotel was ideal, situated in a bustling traditional quarter, full of restaurants, shops and life with easy access to the path to the mirador. We would definately stay again if we find ourselves in Granada

The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast buffet. The service was poor, items were not replenished very quickly and the quality generally of the food offering was dissapointing. We would recommend breakfast in one of the many local cafés and restaurants.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk to the maids were very nice. The location is outstanding. Just feet away from great tapas bars and restaurants. Also close by are shopping and sight-seeing.

We had a very difficult time finding public parking. Google maps led us down many very narrow "streets". After about 45 minutes of searching for a garage with space we finally found one about 20 minutes away. When we asked the lady at the front desk, she said their recommended garage is 2 blocks away. Would be nice if that information (address) is given prior to arriving.

This Hotel was a wee Gem,brilliant location for exploring the fabulous City of Granada.we stayed for 3 days with bed and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The surrounding area was great for exploring on foot, near the Cathedral, and with plenty of Restaurants and Bars nearby.. We also travelled through the City on the small Hop on Hop off Bus/Train for 2 days for a general overview .

Unfortunately we didn't manage to get tickets for the Alhambra despite trying for 3 months before our arrival, but we will return as it's still on our Bucket List. Costa del Sol is one of our favourite areas of Spain and the Train from Malaga was fast and cheap.
