I just want to say the Barcelo have got a customer for life. Me and my girlfriend stayed in Madrid Saturday and Sunday the night and we’re travelling home Monday morning with the power outage happened. We had to wait 6 hours in the train station only to be told no more trains were going. We went back to the hotel and explained the situation and they set us up in the lobby on a couch. We had no cash and they gave us food and water to make us comfortable and then let us stay in the lobby as they had no more rooms available. Every single person of the staff was truly amazing and we were so grateful for helping us during a strange situation! It was only us too they had converted an entire meeting room into a bedroom and helped as many as they could! The true meaning of hospitality. Thank you! ❤️

My stay at Barceló Imagine far exceeded all expectations. Having visited Madrid multiple times and being accustomed to 4- to 5-star hotel standards, I can confidently say this was by far the best experience I’ve had. The interior design matched my personal taste perfectly—modern, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceptional, well beyond the usual standards. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the outstanding staff. From the front desk and housekeeping to the lifeguard at the pool, every interaction was marked by genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. It was, without exaggeration, the best hotel staff experience I’ve ever had.

The team was honestly amazing. The moment I stepped in, José planned my whole trip for me. He gave me all the best food spots and must sees for my trip, which made me feel so comfortable and at ease. The team helped me whenever I got lost or needed some butter for a baguettina at 11pm. The hotel is filled with music (I love the eye of the tiger track that plays on the way to the gym 😂). The room was gorgeous! Facilities were great and I really appreciated them accommodating a massive bed for just myself. Only thing about the room was that there was an "interesting" smell as you enter the room but nowhere else in the room. I might just be super sensitive to smells but I couldn't quite place the smell, I just knew I didn't love it. Also when tidying the room, sometimes things weren't put away like the steamer or tucking the chair in (this is me being really nitpicky but just something I noticed). Also, I didn't looove the room service food options and would love some more options on there! The location was great in terms of how close you are to two stations which have both metro and normal trains. José again made me a VERY detailed map of everything! To get into Sol (main city centre), it's about 25 mins by metro or 10 mins by normal train. I also explored some of the closer stations so those weren't too far obviously. Depending on how close you want to be to city centre, this may not be the best hotel for you. But I loved the distance and the mini commute as I was able to see more of the town. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travellers, couples and families.

Everything! It is now my favorite in Madrid. Having the lobby restaurant/bar from 1 pm till midnight is a big plus! It is clean housekeeping is 10/10. The bed is very comfortable and A/C is really cold. I booked the room with the terrace, it is a large terrace and great for smokers. The hotel is very quiet despite the Chamartin train station is close but the windows are sealed. The staff is good as well. The location is in a quiet area away from the noise of the downtown, however, two metro stations (one of them is a major train station for regional and suburban trains). The airport is 15 mins away. Really it is a great hotel.

The only thing missing is the bidet :( ans that is why I gave it 9. Otherwise, it is a 10/10 hotel. لا يوجد شطاف .. الفندق 10/10 بس هذا عيبه الوحيد

This is a really fabulous hotel. All the staff are professional and friendly. There is so much attention to detail with a fantastic music theme throughout, including being treated to “Eye of the Tiger” as you enter/exit the gym. The pool area is luxurious. My only gripe is that it does not open until 10am. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with enough Powerpoints, cosmetics and good AC. We were there for four nights and they were cleaned each day. This is a fabulous base to see Madrid, with Chamartin station about a 5 minute walk away that makes the centre of Madrid and the Airport easy to reach. It is about 20 minutes to the centre. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return again.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Barcelo Imagine. To provide some context, I was in Madrid for a week on holidays and I had to check out from the hotel I had booked due to poor and unhygienic room. I had never stayed at Barcelo Imagine and am very happy that I selected this hotel to stay. The check-in experience was super smooth. I had already checked in online which is always helpful when travelling in Spain but the staff was very helpful and I had to wait maybe five minutes before I got my keys. The room was spacious for a family of three. I had booked the Premium room which has a maximum capacity of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) but honestly it would get crowded for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning worked like a charm and the blackout curtains provided a very comfortable sleep experience. The room had excellent sound proofing and very good amenities. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower plus a bathtub. The room comes with a steam iron which is a bit tricky to use but better than no iron. The pool was always busy which is expected considering the amazing weather in Madrid at this time. We used the sauna and the gym which were also very well maintained. We also had breakfast multiple times at the hotel. The breakfast is good but not exceptional. You can have a proper breakfast though which is good enough. The sky bar is also a good experience to just relax at the end of day and a few last drinks. There is a supermarket two minute walk from the hotel for water and other supplies. The Chamartin train station is three to five minute walk from the hotel as well which makes a perfect connection to the city center. There is also a taxi stand right across the road which I would strongly recommend compared to ordering Uber. Overall, an excellent experience. I have already booked another stay in July. A few improvements can be made on the room making service. We ran out of toilet paper twice and had to call house keeping. No major issue other than that. One recommendation I would like to make to the hotel is to create room where we can have three proper single beds or a double bed with a proper single bed. For a family of three (2 adults + 1 child), such rooms are very helpful. The small sofa beds are good enough but older kids like to have a proper bed to sleep in.

We had a lovely stay and the room was huge, beds were super comfy and the pillows were divine. bottled water each day was delivered to the room and the food was cooked to perfection and the breakfast array was top class. super location only 5 minutes walk from Chamartin with it's transport links on high speed train and metro etc

if i had anything negative it would be that i think the bar area was a little too public and would be better placed seperately on the right hand side of the foyer area to leave the foyer for casual meetings or afternoon tea/coffee or to read a book as sitting outside was not an option with the weather at this time of year in March. only a suggestion really rather than a negative.

The hotel has a whimsical music motif throughout, themed lifts like Rock and Roll, or Jazz, we stayed on the Flamenco floor, a portrait of Lola Flores greeting you. Private lounges are named The Cavern, or Rolling Stones, the meeting rooms, Prince or Jackson. Guitars and albums covers are scattered around on the walls. As we were leaving, the manager came over to us to ask us about our stay. It was a lovely touch, which highlights the quality of service and attention that we received in our short stay. Our room was spacious, the bed with a variety of pillows was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, with gluten-free options available. Location was idea, being beside both long distance trains and metro. Highly recommend it!

Outstanding service provided by the housekeeping staff, particularly the lady responsible for the 7th floor (721). She was incredibly helpful and reliable, ensuring that my room was always impeccably clean and well-organized. Her attention to detail and dedication to her work should not get unnoticed. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find that the room was perfectly prepared, with a crib already set up for my baby. Additionally, the breakfasts at Barcelo Imagine were very good, offering a wide variety of options to start the day.

The guy checking the cleanliness of the rooms entered the room without knocking, without warning, as if he was entering his own room - this should not happen, very uncomfortable situation. Poor communication between reception and restaurant - twice they claimed that we didn't have breakfast, even though we had paid for it, and each time we had to wait for someone to call and confirm that it had been already paid.
