The whole team at H10 was amazing! We stayed there when the big national power blackout happened. And although we actually checked out that morning and were supposed to take the train home in the afternoon, the team did everything in their power to accommodate us and our 2 small children for that night. I am forever grateful to them for being só kind to us. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to find a safe place for our boys to spend the night. Besides the amazing team, the rooms were perfect and the facilities top notch. 100% recommended! The rooftop terrace was also a big bonus!

Nothing to report, it was perfect!

location is excellent upon arriving our room was not the correct room set-up we had booked so we had to wait for our correct room to be ready. staff was extremely friendly and accommodating of this situation, which we really appreciated. hotel was undergoing remodeling in nearby floors/rooms which is obviously not ideal. sound insulation to hallway/other rooms could be better. did not try the restaurants and did not have time to go up to the terrace but the views up there are supposed to be very beautiful. overall recommended, but not "perfect".

undergoing remodeling in nearby rooms, broken elevator for part of our stay so guests were crowded into one elevator. we took the stairs a couple of times. shower had a small leak, which we solved by putting a towel, not a big deal but not ideal either. sound insulation is not the best.

We booked a room last minute and arrived with short notice, all the staff were extremely helpful and polite, we were gifted a free drink on the roof while we waited for the room to be prepared. Rooftop pool was great and the lifeguard working up there was very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic, smelled great and was very modern and clean. Bed was the comfiest I experienced in all my travels throughout Spain.

Prices on the rooftop were pretty high but understandable for the location and setting.

Location is, by far, the best. Close to el Retiro but still in a quiet area in Salamanca / Goya which is in my opinion, one of the best neighborhoods in Madrid near downtown. The interior design of the lobby and bar is really nice and our room had an amazing view and where completely sound isolated. Rooftop is amazing.

While nothing was actually bad maybe some comments: Rooms are a bit small and dark in the wardrobe area. The cooling system of the mini bar in the room is not good (it overheats due to the small cabinet where it is); and the elevators are very very slow, hot and tiny. Everytime we needed the elevator we had to wait several minutes.

The hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of multiple metro stations, restaurants and of the retiro park. The hotel was very clean and smelled really nice.

There was very little place to lay by the pool and we also weren’t aware of the reservation system with the sunbeds. I would have liked if there were moe sunbeds and it might be handy to disclose that information at the check-in. But other than that I had a really great time.

First time in Madrid and first time in one of H10 hotels. I’m so satisfied with everything the hotel had to offer. The room, the cleaning, the service, the location and so on. The best was that it was so central located that we could by walk go everywhere. We took even the train to the airport which literally took us 20 minutes. Next time I’m in Madrid, H10 Puerta de Alcala will be my first choice again!

Everything was excellent except that the rooms had thin walls which could make us hear everyone outside especially the housekeeping team. Some of them were literally screaming and talking super loud outside which disturbed our “Power Nap” during the day!

Even though it did not have a view, the room was quiet and could be darkened easily for sleeping purposes. Retiro was very close and that was fantastic because we were able to go for walks in the mornings and evenings. It was also very easy to get to other points of interest in the city from our hotel.

The room was on the smaller side. The electricity went out a few times during our stay. However, we didn’t spend much time in the room other than to sleep and get ready.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. We had a few requests to make our stay a bit more comfortable and all was given at no extra cost and promptly. The views from the terrace were fantastic.

I don’t enjoy spending much time in the sun and the pool has not shade at all so for me that was not enjoyable experience.

The location is a little bit away from the busy tourist areas. You feel like you are in a real neighborhood. Though that does mean you will have to travel a little to get to the main museums and shops. Love the rooftop view and wish it was warm enough to try the pool. We had a lovely room with a nice view.

It attracts groups for conventions or conferences so it was crowded when we were there.

Friendly staff, great location for the Metro and city. Rooftop bar/restaurant was fabulous with amazing views. We were at the hotel when the whole of Spain lost electricity and the staff were amazing under the conditions ensuring a great service was maintained providing food, drinks and help throughout. Very reassuring!!
