Everything is new and clean. Location is perfect close to everything yet not too busy or crowded.

Everything was good and comfortable only thing would if they can get normal size pillows and better mattress quality.

Have more or less only positive things to say about this hotel. The room, the bed, the bathroom, air conditioning, yes, everything has really been wonderful. Something I also appreciated was that I wanted to borrow a fan for the room because it was quite hot and it arrived very quickly. Something that was also very good that is not often found in other hotels was that there were Smart TVs in the rooms that you could connect to and watch youtube/netflix etc.

Although I actually think this hotel was absolutely fantastic, there are a few things that could have been changed / improved. - Check-in took a while and I think this could have been done more efficiently. - The room service (the food itself) was so-so, just so overpriced to be completely honest. The drink in the minibar is also quite expensive and I personally think that you should have something edible as well (chocolate/chips/nuts) - Major renovation was in the hotel when we were there, the thing itself is only good that you renew and improve, but this info might have been available when you booked the rooms.

The location is great! I like the quiet cosy atmosphere in the outdoor pool area, although small, it’s very comfortable space. The staffs are very kind, offer to help on luggages,and bar staffs are also very friendly.

The staff didn’t double check the special request during the check-in. Although they offered the change room after we recognised the room isn’t right. But we decided not to change as it was a hassle - we have been travelling and moving hotels the entire morning, one of us had to work the next day. In the end this did created extra unnecessary stress for us.

This is the second time We come up to Catalona Goya and the 9 time to Madrid so We experienced other 4 star hotels but this is the best for all these aspects: staff is super, always nice and supporting and ready to help you if needed. The lady We received was really kind and professional. The rooms were brand new and silent and so confortable. A big shower like mine at home, so fantastic. They were well equipped and cleaned and the position is perfect, a good international breakfast as well. Even in Barcelona We chose a catalona chain. It’ s a good chain of hotels really. I reccomend it.

Great location, not only close to the places we wanted to visit, but also close to a myriad of excellent restaurants. We stayed in one of their premium bedrooms, which had a wonderful bathroom, beautifully designed, with a great shower. The breakfast was one of the reasons we booked the Catalonia Goya (we stayed at the Catalonia in Barcelona on a previous trip and absolutely loved the breakfast!). And last, but not least, the staff was amazing! They were always helpful, with a smile.

These are really very minor things: . We would have liked a softer toilet paper. . We would have liked to have a shower caddy.

Hotel located at the heart of Madrid´s Salamanca district, right on Calle Goya - restaurants, shopping right next door. Location cannot be beated - metro station literally a couple of steps from the hotel entrance and walking distance to all major tourist locations in Madrid - e.g. Retiro park is less than 5 min, Gran Via approx 10/15, Royal Palace 30 min or so. The room is confortable, good lightning, large TV, coffee and tea making available at the room. Breakfast has plenty of options and a quality buffet. Room service is quick and of quality, with fair prices for the area. Recommended.

The one thing I missed was a bathtub in the room, as advertised for the category selected. Shower was large and confortable, though.

I adored this hotel! In terms of location, it's right on the main street, located very comfortably next to a metro station and many stores if you're looking to shop. There is no need to go to Gran via, most of the stores are within walking distance, and great restaurants too. It's close to the park, and there's a cafe next to the hotel with a great cappuccino! The room was spacious enough, didn't feel crowded at all. It was clean and comfy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I originally asked for a king-size bed, that wasn't available upon my check-in, so I switched rooms after the first night. The staff was nice and accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed.

The only thing that was so-so was the fact that at certain times of the day, the water temperature in the shower changed slightly to colder water, probably when an adjacent room used the shower as well. When I took late-night showers it didn't happen at all. Other than that the show itself was big, clean, and with great water pressure. I'd still go there again :)

Excellent location (within walking distance of Plaza Colon, Paseo del Prado and other interesting places, plus metro and taxi right by the hotel), wonderful breakfast, great (great!) shower, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff,

- This may seem funny but the location of the toilet in the bathroom in room 706 is "weird." - Somehow they had not emptied the trash the previous guests had left in the trash bin in the bedroom. The rest of the room was very clean.

The room was beautiful, very new and clean. There was always a bottle of water and chocolates on our table when we arrived each day, the bed was really comfortable and the TV was really easy to connect to my ipad to watch netflix.

The only thing that was annoying was the floors are wooden and the woman next door was walking around her room in heels during the night which woke my partner and I up twice. This was not the hotels fault though

Beds were a little sturdy, but that's magnitudes better than a too much used mattress. So good pint for the beds, thank you for the water bottles. Also shower is clean. The room is kinda quiet which was nice for sleeping.

The TV is nice, but I would have liked to be able to use Airplay to mirror the screen or have an HDMI plug available to plug my laptop (i.e. for something else than chromecast). The coffee capsule are nice but the one available are either deca or too strong (something softer could be appreciated).
