This hotel is a good base for exploring Madrid. You can walk to Gran Via street. Metro and bus stops are close by. It is located in a safe area, with nice bakeries and cafes nearby. Hotel staff is polite, and the early check-in was a particularly nice gesture. Our room was a bit smaller, but quite enough for the two of us. It was very clean, with comfortable bed.

It would have been nice if there was a bar in the lobby, but it didn't spoil the overall impression which was pleasant.

- I had bought some fruite, when I discovered that the refregirator wasn't working. I then realised it wasn't plugged in, so I had to move the whole cabinet in which it was placed so that I can take the cable to plug it. It took quite a few hours to feel like it was cooling again.

I would give this hotel a 4 out of 5 star rating. The location was great, staff was great, cleanliness and the room overall was excellent. The reason I would take away one star is that the walls and floors of this hotel are very thin. We stayed for 4 nights, then traveled out of Madrid over the weekend, then stayed one more night at the Leonardo before leaving early for the airport the next morning. On both of our stays we were woken during the night from other guests either talking in their room, watching TV in their room, slamming their room door, or rolling a suitcase down the hallway. That being said, it is Europe and we are in a city. I think it just comes with the territory. Because the hotel is otherwise excellent, I would stay there again and I do recommend it. My daughter who is studying abroad in Madrid kept saying she wishes her school had accommodations for them closer to where our hotel was because it is so conveniently located.

I love the location, as it’s very close to the train and bus stations, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and bakeries nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great selection of hot food. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Madrid!

The walls were quite thin, making it easy to hear conversations from nearby rooms. Aside from that, everything was great.

The location of the hotel, close to the center, well connected by metro, many shops close by. The internet was very good, it could be accessed quite far away from the hotel. The room was nice, not too spacious, but everything was working; the bathroom was very good. We enjoyed the breakfast as well!

Price: very expensive to spend New Year here.

I stay here frequently. The location is excellent and the price very competitive.

Unfortunately when I made the booking I accidentally inserted the wrong dates. The booking was €80 for one night which was perfect. Upon seeing my mistake I asked to change the booking and was charged €100, so a total of €180. I was disappointed to be ‘fined’ for my oversight. My only other ‘complaint’ is that the hotel doesn’t have a bar.

Everything was wonderful. I was particularly happy, because the cleaner found some Beats Headphones that were left by the previous guest and didn’t take them. Instead she left them there thinking they were ours.

The shower was a bit mouldy and the vent and hair dryer didn’t work. But we asked for another hair dryer and was given to us within minutes.

Soft comfortable bed and a huge lobby where you can sit with a laptop, breakfast is delicious, but not much choice. There are several grocery stores close to the hotel, as well as a couple of places to grab a snack and lunch, such as 'Just Italia' - a great place with a lunch menu.

No possibility to order coffee or tea in the lobby, since the bar was closed. Several times the glasses in the room were not washed, but simply turned over as if they were clean.

Nice hotel, great restaurants around but removed from the tourist part of Madrid. Very conveniently located with a 3 minute walk to the train for direct access into the city centre or very cheap uber into the city. Breakfast is good value so recommend adding that.

The hotel was amazing , in the downtown and close to a lot of amazing places to visit , metro is 2 minutes by foot . The room was very clean , confy bad , with refrigerator and hairdryer . At the receptionist speaks English . I spent 3 days and I will spend another 2 days before going back to country .
