Hotel is close to the airport, clean and very comfortable. There's even a swimming pool if you have the time. There's a shuttle service to and from the airport, which adds up for convenience.

Breakfast times begin late (7am), but, if you order the room with breakfast included, a simple meal is available from 5am. An earlier full breakfast would be a nice addition.

The location was perfect for catching a flight home from Spain. There is a shuttle. Also, it is only about an 8 or 9 minute walk to the #5 Metro line station. Having said that, the location is distant from the main tourist areas of Madrid. The hotel is in a pleasant neighborhood.

Breakfast is advertised as starting from 7 am. While there were rolls, juices and coffee available at 7, the warm items such as eggs and bacon were not put out until 7:30. Due to our concerns in making sure we caught the airport shuttle on time, we went for breakfast at 7 and missed some breakfast items that were served too late.

The service at reception was very good and relaxed, I don't speak Spanish, so the service was all in English. The room was very comfortable and the size was excellent, as was the bathroom. Very good air conditioning too. The breakfast was very tasty

The TV could be a smart TV, or at least have the ability to mirror the screen with more modern devices. I wanted to use YouTube, but it wasn't possible. I think that's something that could be improved. The breakfast was very tasty, but at times, because there was only one person in charge, some items took a while to be replenished, like water, for example. But again, it was very tasty, and the service and friendliness of the staff were very good.

I stayed at the Sercotel Madrid Aeropuerto four times back and forth this spring and summer. The staff is efficient, helpful and kind. There is a left luggage room. The rooms are very clean and functional. Nice breakfast you have to pay for. Very nice pool area. Perhaps the best aspect is the neighborhood. It is quite pleasant, shady and a good place to wander around between flights. There is an El Dia close by, Mercadona, restaurants and a bakery. Also, a van for transportation to the airport

Not fond of the bedding. It's nice bedding, but there is a bottom sheet, a quilt in the middle and a top sheet. It's tucked in so tightly and I had to pull it all out...so you kid of end up with a really messy bed. A lot of hotels still do this, but a lot have moved on to more modern bedding options.

Room was quite comfortable, but spartan - which wasn't a problem for us. The staff were very nice; the bartender was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and gave a good pour. Breakfast was plentiful, but most just OK. Only problem was a long wait for the shuttle at the airport - we called and the person said it had come at a certain time, but none of the 4 of us saw that shuttle. It did arrive 20 minutes later. Arranging for the shuttle the next day was easy, and offered service every 45 minutes, and arrived on time. The desk person gave excellent advice on which shuttle to take, given our destination and take-off time. That was very helpful.

The breakfast could have been better - there were lots of choices, but some of it was a bit old and hadn't been refreshed. Shuttle arriving on schedule at the airport to take us to the hotel.

The staff at reception were wonderful and helpful. Having the shuttle was a plus. Very clean room. Good lighting in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The thermostat in our room was not working. And the thermostat keypad was virtually indecipherable. We just shut the system down since it was set to 22C, but the room was 16C. Breakfast buffet was just OK. The coffee machine was somewhat feisty. Pre-made eggs were rubbery and not warm enough in the heated pan, but that is always as expected. Fruit juices were way too sugary sweet.

The front desk receptionist was outstanding. She asked about our transportation plans for leaving the hotel the morning after check-out, suggested a faster way to get to the train station by using the hotel shuttle bus instead of city buses, and booked the shuttle for us. Super helpful! The breakfast was excellent. A wide variety of food choices including tasty cooked options. (I really enjoyed the zucchini-potato-red pepper dish.) The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and we slept well.

I would prefer a coffee machine or kettle in every room (not just the deluxe rooms).

Very efficient, clean and well managed hotel. The airport shuttle was spacious, prompt and the driver was very courteous. The staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we've had on this trip. Dinner in the hotel was convenient. I think it was a great find and will look for this chain when we again are needing to be near the airport.

Not much. Only downside was the location of the hotel is a bit hard to find as it is in a residential neighborhood. There aren't many other restaurants or cafes around. However the hotel facilities are more than adequate for a one or two night stay. The glass walls of the bathroom did not offer much privacy. Not a problem for most but a family with children might find it awkward.

Hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport. Shuttle service is very good, easy to book and easy to find. I stayed at this hotel before my trip to Guatemala and it was very helpful and convenient that I could store a small bag with my winter clothes at the hotel while away. On my return, I stayed at this hotel again. It was great, after a long journey, to return to a familiar place and friendly staff.

After my initial stay at Sercotel I mentioned in my previous review that it would be nice if the food selection for breakfast would include more options for those who eat plant based food. Second time around, breakfast was exactly the same (other than fruit there wasn't much to eat if you are a vegan). In addition, I got a nice quiet room but the shower was broken. Faucet dripping sound woke me up in the middle of the night, I was super tired and jet legged and naturally a bit upset about this especially since I paid $159 for my room. For this price I do expect a perfect room.

Great hotel for an overnight if you have an early flight, the staff could not have been more helpful even allowing us to check in early despite arriving way ahead of the normal check in time, the lady at reception was wonderful at giving us all the information we needed and directions to find a place to eat near the hotel. We also had diner at the hotel and it was quite good, the restaurant staff was very nice and the service in general was great. Booked it casue of the airport shuttle and the pool and It was the best choice ever.
