The hotel was excellent, the room was well laid out with a high quality finish. Very comfortable bed, large terrace with two sunbeds & a table seating area looking out over the gardens & town. The room had a fridge with a mini bar all chargeable. . The breakfast service was exceptional & the staff extremely pleasant & helpful. The location was a short walk in easy reach of the main town with it's cafés & Bars. The pool area had a quirky VW van as a bar, towels & food. Plenty of sun loungers & parasols. The Spa was great.

Disappointed that they only offered one bottle of water as complimentary, you have to pay for any further smaller bottles of water from the mini bar which was surprising as the tap water was not suitable for drinking. But we found a supermarket close by to purchase our own large bottles. Internal swimming pool was chargeable this isn't clear in the marketing. The hanging & storage space for clothes was not enough for two people we were unable to unpack all of our clothes having to leave at least half of our clothes in the case.

The room was large and nice staff: we had received an upgrade. There is parking on the street or in the hotel for 15 euro. The pool in the garden looked idilic. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, best breakfast I have had in a hotel. The location with walking distance to the old town is greatI overall really recommend

The water in the hotel was not potable and this was not clearly advertised or mentioned upon checkin. The hotel did offer 1 bottle of water for the stay, but I felt this was not enough as temperatures were high and in any other establishment, I could have drank water from the tap for free.

We had a Premium Garden View room . The room was very spacious, the decor was beautiful with some lovely little touches. Loads of wardrobe/ shelving. Bathroom with large shower were also very nicely decorated and absolutely spotless -as was the room and bedding. Bed was large and comfy. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool, garden and nearby monastery. Quiet and restful. All staff - Reception , Porter, Cleaners and Bar staff were welcoming ,helpful and friendly. There was a large choice at Breakfast in the tasteful Dining room. there was also a terrace to eat breakfast with lovely view. There is a large terrace in the bar area with tables and super views for relaxing. From the local bus station there are frequent buses to various resorts around the island. The local Museum close to the hotel is well worth a visit.

It didn't affect us but from the hotel down to the town etc there are a number of steps .It takes around 10 minutes to reach the lower levels... but views all the way. We did use a taxi on one occasion and found it to be reasonably priced.

Loved the room, very clean and loved all the decor

The front of house receptionists I felt could have been more helpful. We had trouble getting a taxi and I felt they were not very concerned. We had to walk back to the hotel from the mall not knowing where we were going as we couldn’t get a taxi and we called for help but they said they couldn’t help. Then on our last day we booked a taxi at 2pm for 3pm pickup and it never arrived when we asked them they were politely dismissive and said they must be busy which didn’t help us. Thankfully a guest in the lobby had booked one independently and let us get in with her. That was the only let down.

Situated on the edge of the old town it is a 10 / 12 minute walk to the nearest restaurants and the quality of the hotel food (breakfast and dinner) is also very, very good and decent value for money. Staff were efficient, friendly and professional across our entire 4 day stay - and check-in and check-out only took 3 or 4 minutes. Our suite with garden view exceeded expectations as both bedroom and lounge had terraces with seating. Pool area was a great place to relax after sightseeing on town.

Everything was very good.

We had a problem with our first room and the hotel immediately responded to our request for a new room. The new room was fantastic, had beautiful views over the port and had none of the problems that the first had. As others have said, the breakfasts were excellent and we particularly liked the service in the dining room at breakfast. All of the servers were very good, but Samara was especially kind and helpful.

The bar/cafe was very cold. AC should be turned down.

The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and variety. Also, the time of breakfast was great. The hotel pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. It was a great idea to have a food van near the pool, we have never come across this facility anywhere before on our travels.

A shuttle bus to the centre and also to a local beach would have been very much appreciated. We had to take a taxi back and forth to beach and town centre or walk in unbearable heat.

Quite a good hotel, clean, near to the marina, spa.with a good sauna. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Welcoming and helpful stuff. It was a pleasant stay. We had a room with sea view and it was nice.

Restaurant which actually pretends to be something like high cuisine- small portions on big plates. The food itself was not bad but not so special as you could expect by the concept and presentation of the dishes. It would be nice to improve room service too, we asked for the breakfast and the coffee came first, in 10 min approx the food arrived, so the coffee was already cold. It was only 1 chair in the room, so we had to move some furniture to have a breakfast together... it is not a big problem, of course, but it may be improved easily..

The room was spacious and very clean. Plenty of storage space and hangers. We hadn't opted for a view but were offered to upgrade on checking in but not for free. The room was serviced daily. The gym was small but was sufficient for our needs. The pool area was nice and not too busy but as usual beds were taken and no sign of the towel owners for hours. Nice alternative area with big cushions also available

Room was quite expensive for June! We had a smell from the drain in our shower that was dealt with when we asked but had not been picked up by the room cleaner. Also a fire alarm went off inn the hotel before 6.00 am one morning and no explanation was given as it went off after 3minutes when we were about to leave room, when asked on check out, the receptionist said that someone smoking had set it off.

location v good - easy downhill to port & bars etc though harder back up but are other routes - and once got bearings into pretty middle of town only 10 min (& similar to bus station to get around the island). Staff v nice too (& let me watch my English football game even when others wanted to watch Spanish footy)

indoor pool not easy to swim in as spa type shallow etc (& €10 even for hotel residents so should be clearer about that)
