Upon arrival at the front of the hotel, even before getting through the front door, we walked through a very pleasant outdoor area filled with greenery, palm trees and a stone fountain. The lobby was slick, clean and accessible, with friendly and helpful reception staff, offering a welcome glass of Cava upon arrival. A fantastic first impression! Making our way to the room, it was easy to see that the hotel is well looked after, again with corridors and communal areas being cared for and cleaned to a high standard. There is a lift to all floors, although it was perhaps a little on the cosy side if carrying more than 4 people. Upon entering the room we were very pleased with the size, along with the wonderfully large bed! Furnishings were typical of most Spanish hotels, being wooden with a rustic charm. Some may find it a little dated perhaps, but personally we wouldn't have it any other way. TV and mini fridge, as well as tea / coffee making facilities were also present. Bathroom was clean and spacious, with a very large mirror, basically everything it needed to be. We had a very large balcony as well, with a small washing line, 2 chairs and a mini patio table. The room served us well for the week and was a lovely place to come home to. Just to add, our friend booked a sea view room on the 11th floor. The room was just as good, perhaps a little smaller, but the view was breath-taking! Next up is the catering. Again, large clean dining room with the option for alfresco if preferred. The food selection was vast and for many would be mouth-watering on a daily basis, as well as vegan and vegetarian options available at both breakfast and dinner. Evening meal drinks needed to be paid for separately, but a selection of hot drinks and juices were available at no charge for breakfast. Pool was large and exposed to the sun, as well as having plenty of shade if required, including a lovely outdoor terrace and tiki bar.

The only negative point on the whole hotel, for anyone with specific dietary requirements then you can seek assistance if needed, but food labelling wasn't perhaps as present as it should be, although this has been the case in pretty much every hotel I've stayed in Spain, so if it's the standard overall then it's not falling short of the mark locally.

At Valentin, you feel at home. The staff is exceptional. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel good. The location is magnificent, centrally located and just steps from the beach. The pool has beautiful trees and at lunchtime you can enjoy lunch at the pool bar. The restaurant is nice and comfortable, the food is very good and varied. The paella is magnificent. Breakfast is very abundant and varied, both sweet and savoury. Excellent value for money

I want to thank all the stuff and the hotel itself for the beautiful holiday and all the hospitality that we experienced during our stay. Everything was perfect from the beginning, the room was very clean and equiped with everything we needed. And not only the room, every corner of the hotel was always surprisingly clean. Stuff at the reception desk is very kind and helpful, they were there for us for everything we needed. The same applies to stuff in the restaurant and to all the other employees of the hotel! In the restaurant each night we were surprised with all the delicious and various dishes that were included in the buffet. Every night they prepared dishes from another cuisine besides the standard meals that characterize this area (Asian food, Italian, Gala night etc.). If someone truly wants to experince local cuisine and in the same time to taste very delicious international dishes, dinner in the hotel is the best option for that. After the dinner hotel always organized some kind of entertainment or show (live music, Flamenco night...) for the guests. The hotel is located in a peaceful and beautiful town Paguera. Hotel is near the main boulevard of the town, with a lot of cute touristy shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed every time we went on a walk. Small paths lead from the boulevard directly to the beach and a nice walking area next to it. Hotel is placed in a quiet area but very near to the boulevard and the beach. For us it’s the most important how beautiful the beach near the hotel is, and beach in Paguera was one of the prettiest we’ve been to. After all of these positive things, we can only say that the beach was one of our favourite parts during the stay. It is very clean, sand is beautiful, and water is simply magical. Water is very shallow and people can enjoy in playing in water as well as in swimming. We can only recommend everyone to visit this beautiful place and to stay in the beautiful Valentine Reina hotel!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect. All staff were great, friendly and helpful (special thanks to Tomás and David at the bar). Breakfast and dinner were delicious with a wide variety of foods (including some vegetarian and vegan options). The pool was clean and never too busy. There is plenty of shade under the trees around the pool and umbrellas are available as well. Overall it was quiet and relaxing, no loud music at the pool (except 30 minutes of aqua training every noon). Evening entertainment was good and ended at 11pm. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. To some it may look a bit dated but that was no issue for us at all. Our departure flight was late in the evening and the hotel provides a secure luggage room as well as common showers for late travelers and access to all the hotel facilities post checkout. We will definitely return to Valentin Reina Paguera! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a great time at Valentin Reina Paguera. Even though we didnt spend much time in the hotel we are happy about everything throughout our visit. The food for breakfast was various and delicious. There were many stations with different type of food, also dairy-free and gluten-free products which is a big plus. The staff was always helpful and kind. Its is possible to rent beach towels and even borrow an iron. There is a free public parking few meters from property. The rooms were nice with AC which helped us survive in mallorcan weather. Ladies from cleaning service were kind, positive and hardworking. Our flight was early in the morning and we were kindly surprised that we had possibility to get something to eat before our check-out.

Amazing experience, the food was great. The hotel was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful the atmosphere was very relaxing. Entertainment was very good with a variety of artists that kept everyone entertained every night.

This place is great! Second year in and we're very happy with everything. The pool side is great, clean, quiet plenty of shade, plenty of sun. There are always available sunbeds, the water is clean and they have short daily activities for whoever's interested. There is also a pool bar that operates all day. You can charge everything on the room and prices are reasonable. The room was good, clean, great bed and nice bathroom. Cleaning happens every day. We had breakfast and dinner included and the food was very good, great variety. Drinks at dinner are not included but juice, coffee and prosecco are complimentary every morning. We will happily return next year!

This was our second visit to Valentin Reina so we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed.

The only thing was on our first visit we had a beautiful walk in shower and as we are both elderly stepping in and out of the bath, this time, was not so easy. Having said that, it did not spoil our holiday and everything else was perfect.

Fantastic hotel - excellent staff and particular attention to detail, glass of cava on arriving at reception, small bottle of wine and gift bag in room lovely gesture and start to our holiday! Food was exceptional - we had breakfast and dinner throughout our stay and the choice and quality of buffet food was excellent every day! The hotel is perfectly located to access shops along the main Street and beach, all within five mins walk. Paguera market on Tuesdays is a must visit but haggle! Top tip - avoid the more expensive spar shops and head to the Eroski city store at the top of the high street for water, beers and wine etc - Much more choice and a lot cheaper! On checking out they have a safe room for storing luggage which meant we could enjoy the day without lugging our cases around - very much appreciated!

We loved it all! We have no complaints at all - if pushed I thought the rooms were slightly dated in comparison to the rest of the hotel but very comfortable and with good amenities so a minor detail.

- We opted for the half-board plan, and the meals were quite good, with a nice variety each day. - The staff was excellent, and the cleaning service was outstanding! - A special mention goes to the hotel’s parking, despite visiting during peak season (end of July), we always managed to find a spot, even late at night.

- The rooms are somewhat dated, but that wasn’t a major concern for us. - Initially, they assigned us a fixed table number for dinner, which wasn’t ideal, but they accommodated our request to change it.
