Location. We didn’t get the room on the photo but it was still a very good room. The breakfast was in a near by restaurant and it was good. You can ask the waiter for freshly prepared eggs. The staff is kind and helpful.

The bathroom. The flushing was broken but fixed on the same day within hours. The water pressure was weaker at night. The air conditioner sometimes didn’t work.

The website pictures are a bit muddled, and as the rooms are spread over several sites it is difficult to know what you are getting. However what a room, we had room 402. a spacious room, massive bathroom. be ready for your own personal stair case. High quality room, in keeping with the location, so its not plaster boarded, its thick stone walls. slight street noise, but we liked that, plus a jacuzzi bath. The location was perfect, very close to free car park and central to old Alcudia old town. 2 mins to breakfast and reception, 3 minutes to free car park, 3 mins to local tavernas, local supermarket, and the market on sunday and tuesdays. Breakfast is not a full English but you get choice of eggs, boiled, fried or scrambled, plus toast, ham, cheese cereal, fruit, coffee, orange juice, plenty for the start of the day. We eat at Five O diner, absolutely excellent and not expensive. We had to wait 20 minutes because the chicken was fresh and needed to be cooked not microwaved.... Alcudia new town is just a stones throw away by car, taxi or bus. We ate in Alcudia new town/ port, but found thats one to avoid, expensive low quality and Benidorm type microwaved meals.... Stay at this hotel, wander through old Alcudia, an absolute joy.

Road up to Fermentor was scary, and they have now closed it off to coaches only during high season, and i would have liked to have driven the whole way, even keeping the one eye open to the sheer drop....

Beautiful room , very clean , ideal location, step out of the door right into the Beautiful Old town of Alcudia, great for popping back for anything you might need or to rest.

Only two drawbacks, if you intend to return to turn in for the night before the steak restaurant closes, you will have a job to not be disturbed by the noise of the restaurant. There is an area just outside the door of the ground floor room with sofas, never did establish whether this was intended for the hotel or the restaurant? But it appeared to be an area for restaurant staff and diners to sit and chat late at night , was kind of surreal and odd to have people chatting and laughing right outside the door of the room you were sleeping in . We cured the problem by heading out later and therefore returning after the restaurant had shut , but this might not suit everyone.

Great central location, no cars are allowed into the walled old town but there is a huge free carpark a few minutes walk away. The room is above a restaurant courtyard which I think adds a nice atmosphere and didn't affect us sleeping. The bed was comfy and we had clean towels each day Nice little terrace to sit out on and people watch those in the restaurant

No hand soap in the bathroom - please can some be provided for hygiene reasons Not that clear where to collect the keys from, note that you are renting a room, not a hotel bedroom, this was fine for us though!

The location is very central and convenient, public parking is nearby. The room under the eaves has charm. The restaurant is very good and with perfect service.

The bathroom had no heating, and being December it was a bit freezing. The shower was leaking, and on the whole a renovation is needed. The mattress is leaning a bit one way. Due to steep stairs the room is not adapted to heavy luggage or young children.

The hotel is charming and is located in the heart of pedestrian old town in one of the historic houses. Amazing way to feel the spirit of the town. The room was refurbished toa great standards - perfect comfy and great modern bathroom. We were on the ground floor so our windows opened right into tourist street (if we opened shutters). It is quiet outside at night.

There is a steak house restaurant in the same building. Our ground floor room was right next to it, so we cold hear shouting of drunk visitors until midnight.

Staff were excellent. Coffee and croissant were first class. Meals were excellent. Everybody was happy and courteous.

The noise of trundling restaurant carts early in the mornings. Needed a bedroom mirror.

Beautifully presented room in restored old house. Food in restaurant was excellent. We had half board.

Room on ground floor and street corner. In February this was not a problem but might be noisy in summer. TV did not work but we were not there to watch TV.

The terrace was unusable late afternoon or evening due to the cooking extraction from below

Great location and wonderful room - comfortable bed and lots of space; nice bathroom. Wish it were not so hot as we could have sat in the terrace. And importantly, air conditioning that works well!

A bit expensive - would have been nice to have breakfast included, especially given the price
