Excellent food. The freshly made desserts each day (great) - could be used next day to go with morning coffee or afternoon tea. (couldn't find another place to put in this suggestion. Fantastic staff: Gave me an ice bucket for cooling drinks we had had to buy out because no bar (no fridge in room). Very helpful when wanted to get a taxi tour of the interior mountains and to get to next destination.

What this hotel needs is a bar to make it excellent. Not just for alcoholic drinks but also morning/afternoon tea/coffee. Also needs shade over outdoor seating area (could see that they were renovating). But they managed to put one up for their book launch, sadly taken right down again overnight.

It’s a beautiful hotel, the room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the gardens. The gardens are lovely and tranquil. The staff were fantastic, very helpful.

We only had one bottle of water in the room On the first day, would have liked a fresh bottle every day as we had to buy water from the Spa ( short walk away, not a problem). And no tea or coffee in the room. But you could order room service. There are a lot of steps at the front of the property, and a walk up a hill to Reception, just to note for less able people.

We absolutely loved our garden view room! The room had a classic interior and all the necessities we needed. Had a lovely walk around the locals neighborhood at night before heading to the restaurant just across the road. Parking was convenient just in front of the hotel on the street. Breakfast had all we needed and really loved that they had foreign interns practicing their waiting skills at the breakfast table. Really lovely work-and-learn environment for those guys :)

Polite, professional and friendly staff. Nice garden, clean and comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast. Good location (if you have a car). Would come again.

Would have been nice to have a mini-bar fridge in the room (the only 4 star hotel I have been which didn't had one). In some evenings was difficult to find a parking space nearby.

Very good breakfast ! Fresh fruit and fresh baked croissants and other pastries from the students ! Personnel was very friendly and dinner was at a gastronomy level ! We loved the jacuzzi !

Excellent buffet breakfast. Good evening meals. Traditional and elegant atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Nice view over gardens from balconies. Free jacuzzi. Sensible, functional bathrooms with plenty of space and good towel rails.

A kettle for making hot drinks would be good. Some road noise from down the hill.

Nice rooms, comfy bed.

At the restaurant they could only offer a set menu, due lack of customers. We went to the nearby pizzeria and had a great meal there.

The room enjoyed a splendid view over the garden of the hotel. Despite the busy road flanking the hotel, no sound could be heard due to the plants and palm trees in the garden and the the double-glazed windows. The kind gesture of a welcome gift in the form of items of local produce was greatly appreciated. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. As I stayed half-board, I came to look forward to the surprise of dinner as the menu changed daily and the translations into English were never quite what arrived on my plate. I can recommend trying the cakes - so delicious.

I would have liked to have been given a local street map as I checked in. It was only as I drove away from the hotel that I realised which residential areas would have been nice to have explored on foot.

Nice hotel with an up-market feel. Not too busy, service was great.

If there was an a la carte menu on display somewhere we might have eaten dinner at the hotel, but the restaurant opposite was excellent
