Staff were amazing: helpful, courteous, smiling, thoughtful, and very accommodating. Parking: available and convenient; had a charging station for the e-vehicle. Breakfast: nicely presented, delicious, with a good variety. I appreciated individual tongs to get food and not to worry how clean the hands of other guests were. Lunch: we had it in our room, and it was prepared quickly and brought to us with a great presentation. Beautiful hotel with a very tasteful decor. Nicely maintained grounds with outside seating and lounging area. Small details making a huge impact: live flowers in the room, blankets to sit outside and be cozy, chocolates in the room, apples at the reception in a beautiful wooden bowl, ice cream in the afternoon, bottled water and cookies "for the road" upon departure. Superclean. Very quiet.

We liked everything! Nothing to improve. Maybe having an outside hot tub water a little bit hotter, but it is a personal preference.

Simply WOW! Our second visit to Santillana Del Mar and our first time in this amazing hotel. Our room had the most comfortable bed and pillows. Also tea/coffee making facilities. Which is a rarity in Spain. Breakfast was fantastic. A varied choice and eggs made to order. The staff were amazing and so hopefully. The waiters also make the best G&T’s! We were sailing from Santander at 5pm and the hotel let us stay and use the facilities until we needed to leave. We were travelling on a motorbike and they also stored our luggage. All of which was really appreciated. We hope to return!!

Everything! Beautiful, extremely clean rooms. Delicious restaurant. Gorgeous outdoor space - we didn’t want to leave! Proximity to town, but enough distance to create a serene and peaceful environment. And most importantly, the best staff ever. We felt so welcomed by everyone, and every effort was made to anticipate and address our needs. We cannot wait to return to this remarkable hotel.

This hotel was an unexpected suprise. The lady that took care of our check in was super friendly and efficient. This hotel is beautifully decorated,paying very close attention to every detail. The room was very nice, and the bathroom very large. The pool area is beautiful and they have a truck/bar besides the pool, with service until late at night. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I have ever seen, Very good food and incredibly well presented. And on top of everything, on check out the lady in the front guest had a gift for us on our departure: a nice tote bag with water bottles and snaks. Unexpected and very much appreciated. This is a superb hotel. And also parking was free.

A great hotel with very friendly staff and superb facilities. Breakfast was excellent every day and we also enjoyed the pool and bar. We will certainly stay here again in future if we are in the area.

Nothing - it was in an ideal situation to see the nearby caves and other historic areas in Santillana del Mar and we also visited some local beaches.

We enjoyed the hot tub in our room. The food offerings on breakfast buffet were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Nice decor in the room and nice grounds, Close to old town.

The coffee offered at breakfast was just so-so. (First i tried from the espresso machine and then made at the bar). We had a pool facing room and the music from the pool was too loud and went too late, could be heard in the room, even with ear plugs. In general I’m not a fan of poolside music, it would have been nice just to have a quiet pool.

We were met by nice and friendly stuff. Check in was comfortable. We were provided by very useful information about the places of interest and nice choice of restaurants for the dinner. It was pleasure to stay in the room with small charming terrace.

Maybe Scent sticks on jacuzzi which is situated right in the room are not so good because they smell rather hard. But we solved that problem very easy just moved than on the terrace.

It was a beautiful place that wasn't too big so not too busy. The pool was lovely. The spa in the room was great. We really enjoyed breakfast. There are some cafes across the road and the main street is only a few minutes away to walk to.

Nothing! Only suggestions I would make is to open the pool earlier in the day for those only staying one night and to provide towels for the pool.

The hotel is charming and immaculate; even the garage is well lit, attractive, and clean. It even smelled good! I was impressed with the attention to detail. Our room (104) had a nice patio facing the street, screened from view and lovely for sharing a bottle of cider and some cheeses. We only stayed for a night and didn’t even try the restaurant, but the Cuevas would have been a lovely base for longer.

The town has some roadwork going on and the road closures were a bit inconvenient.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming. The facilities were luxurious and extremely comfortable. From the moment we entered our fantastic room with treats, through the usage of the pool and (outdoor and in room!) Jacuzzi, the wonderful meal through the free usage of electric bikes until our departure treat we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay.
