We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Don Juan. Reception staff were lovely (they even made sure there was a bite to eat for us after Goldcar put us hours late arriving!) The rooms are nice and well cleaned. Big tv in the room and great large bathroom with rain shower. The view of the beach was amazing, and the food was exceptional.. something for every taste and the staff were great. The hotel is central to everything with bars shops and beach close by.

You have to be very picky to find negatives here. Lifts sometimes didn't work so there was a little wait from time to time. The pool area is relatively small and as is common, has shaded areas in the mornings, along with immovable parasols. But it is well kept and clean. There is still some maintenance work going on which only caused an issue with noise for us on one day, but bits were going on during our stay which i think is finishing off bits from their refurbishment. Overall though, still highly recommended.

Very nice location right in front of the beach…. The hotel was very clean and well maintained despite being already a bit older…. They told us that the hotel will close now to be completely refurbished and renovated and will become a four star hotel … Staff was very friendly ! But best of all - the amazing ocean view from the 7th floor !! 😍😍😍 (definitely worth paying a little bit extra for a room with sea view !)

The only thing I did not like was the breakfast ! The products were of basic quality - juice from concentrate, coffee was not good, sausages very artificial… the fruit salad looked like it came out of a can… the quality of the breakfast was really not great !

We have stayed at the hotel on lots of occasions and thought the food was the best we have had over previous holidays. We have always found the staff friendly and welcoming, and part of the holiday experience.

We understand the hotel caters for mainly German tourists, but find the lack of English speaking t.v. channels a probable reason for UK holidaymakers not feeling as valued. As the hotel is going through a refurbishment, we hope the company, wishes to appeal to all nationalities, to make it, an even more enjoyable experience.

The lifts sometimes didn’t work which was a bit frustrating as it a lot to walk up stairs with all of your beach gear.also out tap in our bathroom would leak at the bottom when turned on so we had to keep a towel down to stop the water going everywhere

Hotel is on perfect place in middle of small city and on beach with top view from hotel rooms. Rooms are little bit old but it is not point to talk about because it is 3* hotel. We took breakfast and dinner which was amazing and have a lot of meals for choose. Everyday is fresh and delicious. Hotel employees was perfect and they prepare us breakfast in 5:00am because of early flight. Best hotel in this part of Palma.

Everything was wonderful! The room, the see view, breakfast, the pool (bar) and the gym! The (renovated) hotel looks amazing. Everything was so fresh and new. Very well designed and felt luxurious.

I only missed fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast and down duvet for sleeping. Due to the heat it’s not necessary but I’m not used to sleeping like that.

It was my first time and I enjoyed my stay. Everything: the room, the location close to the beach/bus/Aldi, the pool, the staff - were excellent at the off -season price that I could afford. The guests ( mostly Germans and not many kids) were not load and the stay was overall comfortable. One can rent a refrigerator for a tiny fee in case one has no food included.

The only issue was a terrible noise from drunk german tourists at the bar across the streets on Sat evening from 18 until 21, and hotel not being able to help , accept saying “ people are on vacation and allowed to be loud in Spain until midnight”. That was not what a guest want to hear and makes me not sure about staying again.
