Location, location, location. If you are going to Scottsdale Stadium, look no farther. We walked to Old Town for dinner and drinks which saved money on Uber. Beds are comfy. We slept well. Quiet location.

The styrofoam plates given at breakfast cannot be transferred to the microwave in the room. Rooms need a bit of an overhaul. When we came here before there was complimentary happy hour and also a complimentary shuttle within Old Town. Neither of those things are available any longer. This place is also rather expensive for being a chain hotel. No guide on the television so you had to go channel by channel to find something to watch.

We stay her when we come to see our son, it is convenient, close to everything, quiet, staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We don't have to leave the building to eat breakfast, the pool is a bonus, very serene place to unwind anytime. Lots of parking. Pet friendly, We will continue to stay her ,just give the back side of the building some TLC.

Didn't like that outside our room there was dog waste everywhere. No bags in the dispenser for guests to pick up waste. Lots of old broken branches laying around, other debris that could have been cleaned up. It appears that that side of the building is ignored when the grounds crew does their job. The front side of the building is well manicured and the back side looks like a whole different thing, nobody cares side of the building.

Great location close to Scottsdale city center. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly.

The breakfast was fine, but everything is served on disposable dishes, so at the end of breakfast there are two garbage containers full of plastic, which seems like a huge waste and missed opportunity for Holiday Inn. Also there was no telephone to make calls to outside the hotel. For guests from abroad this is a bit inconvenient, as calls made abroad can be quite expensive.

Easy to access hotel location, next to Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles, which was good dining, and the Sphinx Date shop, which had delicious souvenirs. 2 min drive to Old Town Shopping area. Hotel parking was free and available. Hotel grounds was clean. Staff was friendly and check in/out was efficient. Good continental breakfast hot/cold options, and there was always warm coffee/tea near the reception desk which was appreciated. We only stayed one night, so we didn't have time for the swimming pool but it looked clean and inviting. The hotel room was clean and more spacious than expected, but the washroom is a bit tight, although everything worked well. The only thing we didn't appreciated was when we pulled out the sofa bed, there was a bit of left over food from the last guests, not cleaned up carefully. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and we would return as the main bed was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was fine.

Staff was nice and it was clean other than hot tub. Also noise was an issue. I would stay on 3rd floor if we come back.

Room in good location by elevator. Parking right outside hotel door. Breakfast was nice.

Construction being done in room above us. A lot of noise. Alarms going off. Couch was so uncomfortable, should be in the trash.

Great suite, as I asked for on the 3rd floor. Quiet around me. Above the pool on one side. Microwave worked well. Lots of room. Good tv. They checked me in at 2:30, no fuss about being earlier than 3pm.

The freezer in the refrigerator wasn't freezing. There was no way to turn the temp down in the refrigerator so my items were barely cold enough. Bed was really hard. I have a bad back so it was like sleeping on a board. First time I've had that at this property.

It had a good location. The elevator was fast. The room had a refrigerator and microwave and a keurig coffee maker. some rooms have a balcony. The pool was very inviting. so was the whirlpool. The breakfast did have a couple hot items to choose from.

The thermostat in our room seemed off. It couldn’t sense how cold it was. The parking lot was very crowded with cars. not sure if there’s enough parking.

The accomodations were great. My request to be on the ground floor with a view of the pool was accomodated. I have paid as much for a small hotel room. This was a suite. It was a big relief not to be surrounded by 4 small walls like most hotel rooms. Hoping my future experiences with HIE are similarly positive.

The cleanliness. It's totally doable and survivalble but the detailed cleanliness and sanitization of the rooms seemed to be lacking.

Great location right next to Old Town and Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles (highly recommend as well). Staff was incredible. When I asked to extend my stay another night, they were very accommodating and quick. Great free parking and breakfast.

Wish it was a smart tv so we had other options other than cable, but no biggy.
