- Very helpful and friendly staff, in addition to welcoming bottled water, the lady at front desk also gave us bottles of water for the road when we checked out - Location is great, with easy access to the freeway, and only 1 block away from the old town Main Street. 2 really good restaurants very close to it (Alloro - Italian, Chang Thong - Asian). Beautiful blooming dogwoods lined the street outside of the hotel in early May - our room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and there is a mini fridge and microwave oven under the desk - breakfast was good with lots of hot food

Everything was good

the staff was very warm and gracious. I would rate them A-plus-plus, especially recommending what I was told was “authentic” Mexican food, which it was. And the woman who poured wine at happy hour was not waiting on people when I was there, and I had a very interesting chat with her about something we had in common — added bonus to my glass of wine. Also, I commend the hotel on the quiet heating system.

I have never figured out why hotels don’t figure out a layout for breakfast where guests aren’t in each other’s way. I always feel like I am in someone else’s way and someone else is in my way. If I ruled the hotel world I would have outlets in the floor and the food service (toaster, hot food, etc) could be rolled out away from the wall so it could be accessed from both sides. Obviously some of the larger items like drink dispensers would need to stay where they are, but at least get the food out where people can serve themselves and sit down to eat quickly enough that the food is still hot. Another toaster would be helpful,too. And I wish hotels would not stop serving at 9 am. Some people are sleeping in on vacation or had a long drive and slow to get going.

The room was spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance from restaurants, shopping and specialty shops . The lobby was warm and inviting . Decorated nicely for the Christmas season. Each evening there was complementary drinks. The breakfast was also included in our stay . There was a wide range of breakfast items to choose from which was wonderful .Would definitely stay here again ❤️

Perfectly located; value amazing with full breakfast, coffee and water all day, drinks in the evening, doggy biscuits available for the dog; staff was friendly and thorough, nice grounds, and security for guests was good as you needed to use your room key to operate the elevator.

The coffee pot in the room was sized so you were able to use the standard size pods when brewing but the compartment where you placed your cup was very small- there were small mugs provided- large pod, small mug- made for a VERY strong cup of coffee

The breakfast was excellent. The well-prepared, traditional high-protein offerings--scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, and fried potatoes--were complemented by oatmeal, with an attractive array of toppings, and cereals to suit any diet, along with fresh fruit, yogurt and juices, as well as coffee, milk, hot chocolate, etc.

The only thing we missed was a larger TV screen, which, compared to the many things we enjoyed, is almost insignificant.

The staff who assisted us were wonderful very friendly and helpful. Our room very was nice, clean & quiet.

Issue in our room was the shower. On our departure date we got up to shower & found LOTS of dark hair all over the shower floor & the little seat area. Kind of gross. The breakfast was disappointing. The French toast was cold, the bacon was cool & sitting in a puddle of grease.

I really enjoyed the area and location. It's a small town and I felt like the hotel made an effort to make guests feel welcomed and at home. The staff was very polite. The rates were reasonable. I'm not sure ehen but I'm definitely coming back. Two of my favorite things were the social hour and breakfast in the morning.

Area wise there weren't very many different modes of transportation (i.e., taxi or rideshares) available. That has no bearing on the hotel though.

We liked the size of the King Suite and the furnishings, especially the recliner chair and the many tables for luggage and bags. Surprised there was a second TV. The bathroom is large. The breakfast was pretty good, especially the yogurt parfait. We were looking forward to the oatmeal, but it is the mushy kind rather than regular oats. Scrambled eggs were probably out of a carton. Sausage was good. Disappointed there were no pancakes or waffles, just "French toast sticks". The happy hour with friendly host was appreciated. Appreciated the coffee/tea in the lobby and the Keurig in the room.

Our room (206) was on the highway side and the traffic noise level was unacceptable. I would not reserve again if I can't be guaranteed a room away from the highway. The shower curtain was too short--it doesn't even make it below the "dam"! With the extreme water pressure (cannot be controlled), and water gets all over the floor despite one's best efforts. They do not provide soap at the sink; instead, guests have to step into the shower to get soap to wash their hands! And, our soap dispenser was nearly out. And in such dry weather, lotion would have been nice. Would have liked another desk chair. Flimsy plastic cups used for Happy Hour were awkward (my husband knocked his over) and lacked class, especially in wine country

This is a very nice central hotel, making it easy to walk to all of GV's wonderful restaurants and shops and the Performing Arts Center. The room was spacious, the bed was good, the shower was nice with lots of hot water, and the room temperature was preset to a comfortable level. Nice amenities. Breakfast included. But ask for better bed pillows if needed. The ones in my room were far too thick to sleep on.
