This particular Wingate, we've stayed at several times. It's clean, cozy, good location, and the staff we come across are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is your average eggs, sausage or bacon, cereal, bagels, etc. Nothing exceptional but it is good. We didn't get to enjoy the pool but from what we saw the pool area was well kept and others were enjoying a nice swim every day we were there. The rooms were nice size and clean. The bed was on the firm side for me, however, my husband loved it. The entrance is swept and clean. The waterfall decor as you walk in is very welcoming and a nice touch.

Location was great and comfortable and welcoming. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Spacious room with a sitting area and both a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable and there was a lot of lighting in the room. I LOVE the black make up face cloth plus make up wet wipes! They did accommodate a late check out with no additional fee which was great. Every staff was exemplary. There was an issue with my 3rd party booking and front desk manager Jovan and staff Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate my needs despite the issues and they showed great patience, grace and kindness throughout the situation! They were amazing!! Because of how they treated me I will likely stay here often when in the area!

No bar soap in the bathroom Wasn’t able to steam the entire stay and there is limited programming and channels so that was inconvenient

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed around the holidays. Nicely decorated. Rooms nice. Bed comfortable and the free breakfast was amazing. Overall, loved it and will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good - there could have been a little more variety of healthy stuff but overall it presents good value as it is included in the price. Really great location - good accessibility to many services and neighbouring suburbs. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a really good size, very clean and modern with a super comfy bed!

Requests needed to be made the night before for the room to be cleaned which works for some people but not everyone. Perhaps make cleaning standard with the option to put "do not disturb" if cleaning is not required. Also, guests who swim go straight from the pool to the lifts thereby leaving water in the lift which could be a health and safety hazard. It's great there is a pool but there should be a wipe dry notice before guests step into the lifts from the pool.

We stayed at Wingate by Wyndham for a nearby concert, and the location was perfect for that purpose. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with spacious, comfortable rooms that made for a very relaxing stay. What really stood out was the staff—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Just a heads-up: the hotel isn’t close to any town or central amenities, so you’ll need a car or rely on public transport to get around. But if you're here for an event in the area, it’s a great choice!

I liked the hospitality of the front desk clerk. I arrived to check in very late and the clerk was concerned about me. I spoke with her earlier in the evening to find out what was the latest I could check in but got stuck in traffic downtown. She said, “I’m glad to you’re here. I was concerned about you.” That showed that she cared about my wellbeing. I appreciated that.

Really not much. There was no preference in choice for meat items for breakfast. I do not eat pork so having a choice for turkey sausage/bacon would have been better.

This was my first time staying with Wingate, and I can assure you it will not be my last. This bar far has been the best hotel In terms of cleanliness, professionalism, comfort I have experienced. The front desk staff were very pleasant. I had phoned them to let them know I was running behind, and she assured me it wasn’t an issue and my room was waiting for me. She even told me to be careful driving “we’ll see you when you get here” I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the area and haven’t been made to feel that they were concerned for my well being. The male staff were dressed in suit and tie and the female staff were in skirts and dresses. Exceptional appearance In comparison to other hotel chains I have stayed at while back home. I chose the King room, and let me tell you, it was clean, welcoming and very nice size. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Exactly what I needed after a long drive. The pool area was very well kept, and J was lucky enough to have it all to myself for the hour of so that I spent. The pool and whirlpool had just been filled and sanitized shortly before I grabbed a few laps and relaxed in the whirlpool. It couldn’t have been better timing. There is a very nice exercise room with all of the modern equipment right next to the pool. I did not utilize any of the equipment this time, but I will definitely grad a quick work out next time I come back home. I am originally from the South Side Of Chicago, but I now live in Knoxville Tennessee. My remaining family members are here in Orlando and Homer Glen, and the next time I come back for a visit I will definitely be signing up for a membership and staying here from now on. In my opinion, this for me was just what I needed . I would give this a 10/10 rating with 5 stars.

Loved the atmosphere in the lobby. Very nice decor, and the housekeeping staff keep the hotel exceptionally clean.

I was in a handicapped room and there was a roll-in shower with handheld/pole fastened shower head. When I was trying to position the shower head on the pole, the pole and shower head fell out of the apparatus that held it, and fell on the shower floor, almost hitting me in the foot. Actually the entire shower setup was cheaply set up. The curtain kept opening allowing water onto the floor and cool air in.
