From the moment I arrived the team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. This is a relatively low-cost hotel for the area and in line with expectations In terms of the overall building, the room and the complimentary breakfast. The room was large and the bed was really comfortable. It was immaculate and the cleaning service and the replacement of towels etc. was exceptional. I had read previously that the breakfast was fairly basic which it was however, it was perfectly adequate. Coming from the UK, I was a little surprised to see disposable plates and cutlery But that aside I had the best scrambled egg I’ve had in a long time! While I was there, I Had a bit of an incident where my phone died on the Metro and I had no way of booking an Uber to take me the 10 to 15 minutes ride back to the hotel. Long story short I approached someone at the station who was incredibly kind who called the hotel for me and the general manager himself drove to the station to pick me up and take me back to the hotel. 🙏🏻 That is one example of how the team put themselves out to make sure the guests are not just comfortable but properly cared for. I was there for work and travelled into central Washington DC each day by Uber for the most part until I discovered the shuttle service from the hotel to the local station which runs in the morning and then in the afternoon was incredibly efficient. Thank you Mr. Trey and the rest of the team for your hospitality and care!

The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean. The price was very reasonable. Nice to have CVS & IHOP right next door.

I knew this going in so I wasn't upset about it, but be aware that this hotel is quite a distance from the metro station. Budget for uber to get you to the metro.

We stayed only one night during our road trip along the US East Coast. We arrived late and left early :) We were traveling with our teenage daughter, our room was a double queen. I have not the slightest complaint. The room was renovated, spacious, the beds comfortable, very clean – no difference from a 4-star hotel if we talk about the room. For a short stop, we would choose this hotel without hesitation. The lady at the reception was kind and helpful, changed our room according to our request (we wanted the second floor), and was pleasant to talk to.

The only minus – but we felt it throughout our trip – is that in mid-range US hotels the breakfast selection is too small and consists only of sweet carbs – pastries, cakes, waffles, etc. No vegetables, no protein sources, and no fruit. And the plastic. Oh my, the amount of plastic. I hope at least they recycle it. But my criticism is certainly not directed at this particular hotel – it’s the same in all hotels of this class.

This facility represents a good value in the Washington DC area. They offer a reliable shuttle that will take you to and from the Washington DC metro public transit, which also operated well and was clean and efficient. When necessary Uber is available and depending upon how many people are in your party ,Uber can be an economic choice to get to the destinations that most visitors and tourists will have on their list. There is an IHOP, CVS, and a Baskin Robbins within an easy walking distance. The complementary breakfast is above average.

First of all, special thanks to Derick (shuttle driver) and Darwin (at the reception), they were so kind and helpful and made our stay excellent at Clarion Inn Falls Church-Arlington. The Hotel is located at a very good location with many restaurants and facilities nearby. They also provide free breakfast and free shuttle service to East Falls Church metro station which makes accommodation and transport very convenient and affordable. I will definitely come back to this Hotel, strongly recommended!

Loved that the pool had a lifeguard on duty, free breakfast, multiple doors to access the building, has a microwave and mini fridge, has a shuttle to go to and from the metro.

Our room smelled like cat pee and we had to buy Febreze small spaces but once we put that in the room it was fine. Very crowded area to get food for breakfast.

The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were clean and maintained. I liked that the double bed rooms had two sinks. One inside the bathroom and one outside of the bathroom. This was a very convenient feature to have while traveling with several people. They offered a limited variety of breakfast choices, but just enough to satisfy any traveler looking to grab a quick bite before starting the day. The standard waffles, danish, muffins, eggs, sausage and potatoes were offered. There was supposed to be yogurt in the refrigerator, but apparently they ran out. Coffee, tea and juice were available.

The breakfast was nice. Better than continental! They had sausage and eggs or ham and eggs each morning. You could make waffle or toast or choose cereal. There was fruit and yogurt as well. Location was good for trips to Washington DC. They shuttle us by van to the metro and we rode i to DC that way. The shuttle to and from the metro was great. Shuttle ran from 7-11am i believe and then again from 5-9pm. The only thing I didn't like is that we were stuck in DC til 5 if we didn't come back before 11:am. However the staff was super helpful and if i had asked to come back early I think they would have tried to make that happen. You could also drive to east falls church metro and leave your car there for a small fee(around 5 dollars). They you could leave when you wanted. The hotel also let me check in earlier than the 3:pm check in since they had room available. This was super helpful since we got there from Alabama a lot earlier than we planned.

Would have been nice if shuttle was available for return earlier than 5 pm. We got tired and hot around 3pm the first day there.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. But what made it Great was Jennifer the front desk attendant. Jennifer went above to make sure my stay was perfect. Jennifer is the definition of what customer service is all about. She is exceptional and excellent at her job. So Thank you Jennifer because of you I'll be back. 😊

No Elevator and if your room is upstairs and your luggage is hevy or like myself with COPD can make it challenging.

It was very clean and comfortable . Had towels outside at the pool. The breakfast was very good . Perfect location, shuttle service to the metro. The pool was very clean and the lifeguards were professional . Coffee and tea available all day. I would recommend the Clarion to anyone looking for a family friendly and affordable place to stay.
