Location, location, location!!! Close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Shakespeare & Co, and so much more! Very close to trains that went everywhere very fast -- they were FAST, clean, easy to use, and convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the shower & tub excellent. The breakfast was convenient and yummy, and the desk staff, breakfast staff, and room staff were superb. Also, we took advantage of the all-day espressos. Lovely place - would stay again!

I'm a big fan of something hot such as scrambled eggs and sausage with breakfast, but I did very much enjoy the breakfast even without these. Rooms were small, but that's OK.

Superb location, just a few minutes walk from the Latin quarter and also from several metro stations. Very close also to the Luxembourg gardens. Friendly staff and rooms were clean. The option to have two adjoining rooms for the family was the reason we chose this hotel and it did not disappoint. One room had a double bed, the another had two singles. The room with the two single beds was well lit and had a lovely little balcony which you could access and enjoy with deck chairs.

We had two adjoining rooms, one with a double bed, another with two singles. The room with the double bed was very dark (it faced into a small internal courtyard). There was maintenance work going on just outside this window one morning. But to be fair, they started work after 9am. The lifts were very small and a bit slow. One morning a cleaner came straight into the room without knocking first. There is no way to lock the doors from the inside. After that we made sure to use the "Do not disturb" sign on the door handle. None of these things were important enough to deter me from recommending this hotel.

This place was great. The St.Germain area is so convenient and this particular hotel is close to several metro lines. The beds were comfy, big terrace doors with blackout curtains and a nice size shower/ salle de bain. I will almost certainly look to book here again on my next trip to Paris. It far exceeded the first hotel I stayed in just one block away. The prices were comparable. This place was cleaner, bigger, and the second bed for my daughter was an actual comfy bed and not a pull out couch. Absolutely recommend.

The elevator is so small but not unlike any other hotel in Paris. This is not a criticism but a friendly reminder to other Americans who are used to big roomy elevators to fit the too many bags we bring. If that is an issue for you, you may want to seek out an American chain hotel in the city.

The front staff here was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely, friendly, professional, welcoming staff - they had such grace when a very rude guest made a scene, and they also managed to make our family feel at home and were also helpful with tips/directions. The rooms were rather large compared to other rooms we have had in Paris and elsewhere in Europe(we had two rooms - one for two people, and one room for three with three twin beds and still plenty of room to move around and keep suitcases open), the shower was lovely, and we were surprised to see AC! The location was incredible - within walking distance to TONS of shopping, restaurants, and plenty of quick food places as well. Of course we could quickly make our way to the Notre Dame, and public transport. If/when we return, we will most certainly return to the Hotel Belloy St. Germain.

Staff was great and helpful. Room was nice and cosy. Location was great, close to Notre Damme de Paris, and like 40 min walking distance of all major attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby and lots of various cuisines to choose from. Also plenty of shops arround and supermarkets. If you fancy fast travel (or a quick trip to Versailles 30min) the underground is at 5 min walk.

Some might say the room is on the small side but it didn't bother us; what did was the fact that the toilet room was separated from the shower/sink room which we found very unhygienic because you contaminate all the handles in order to wash your hands after using the facility. They have a very tiny "kitchen" and the Breakfast is more on the continental side (it costs about 16€): eg. Only hard boiled eggs available, 2-3 salami, smoked salmon was served on one day only; also if you arrive after 9 your options will be very limited. The lady serving the breakfast was very sweet and helpful, so kudos to her.

-Room was big enough for 3 -near metro station -Room and bathroom was clean enough (still big curtains,carpet floor and fabric bed headboard makes you feel there is dust everywhere) -there is coffee machine in the room and fridge. -Big windows for fresh air -separate bed for kiddo

-Breakfast was expensive (16euro per person) comparing to cafes so We didnt choose during our stay. -You expect to see complimentary bottle of water in the rooms but there wasn’t any. -there was no slipper also

The manager who greeted us was friendly and efficient - pulling out all the stops to resolve a plumbing issue with one of our rooms within a couple of hours, despite it being after 7pm. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms very clean. The position of the hotel is brilliant and I would recommend booking one of the slightly larger rooms to make a very central stay excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The décor of the reception area does not match the standard of the rooms or the breakfast area. Maybe it could be smartened up a little? But I was delighted from there on in! This is just a very minor complaint.

The location was excellent, walking distance to metro/RER station and little supermarket stores, as well as numerous great restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed for a tiny space.

The elevator wasn’t working for the 2 days we stayed, so we had to use the alternate elevator which was a claustrophobic persons worst nightmare to get up to level 5 then walk the last flight of stairs to our floor.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by cheerful staff and assigned to a beautiful room with a view on both sides, and a crib ready for our baby to sleep in. We left Paris and checked out of the hotel for 3 days and we had forgot our passports in the safe of our room, thankfully as soon as I called the hotel they informed me that they had our passports safely kept until our return! We want to give a special thanks to Nabil who was super helpful and friendly and recommended some great places to dine in. We will definitely be back to Hotel Belloy.

The room is small but has everything we need and they were happy to keep our baby stroller in the storage downstairs to free up space for us in the room.

I loved how the doors to the balcony opened up . It enabled us to get some fresh air and look out to the streets below. There was hot chocolate available in the lobby as well as a self serve coffee machine. The location was superb. Easy walking distance to restaurants/cafes and attractions. I highly recommend this Hotel.

There was only one lift and it was very small.
