I love the modern style and space of Le Grand Quartier. The court yard looks beautiful with all the plants and greenery, a wonderful place to sit outside, feels like a little oasis. Inside you have the choice of the comfy relaxing space of the coffee shop/cafe or the formal restaurant. There's even a snack shop in the reception area. The roof terrace is a lovely touch for relaxing and they even have yoga and pilates classes. Staff are very welcoming, professional, multi lingual. Our room was spacious, very clean, and having the facility of coffee and tea maker in a parisien hotel was a treat. Extra touches of soft comfy slippers and toiletries was very welcome. Metro and bus stops near by.

This is in a lively and cosmopolitan part of Paris, which feels very authentic to me and I enjoyed but not your cup of tea if you are looking to stay in an upscale area.

The beds and linen are excellent. You can actually open the windows. I'd stay again if i can get a good room rate, which means ensuring you're between seasons and there are no public holidays. I booked two months in advance and got a rate i could only just afford ... but that's Paris.

Breakfast is way over-priced and the service staff very obviously police the counter to ensure nobody takes anything they're not entitled to. Rather mean-spirited, I thought. Especially compared to CitizenM, for instance, where breakfasts are stupendous and nobody cares what you have. However, lots of cafes around where you can have a great breakfast for less. Just saying ...

The hotel is great. The room is very clean and everything well appointed. The airconditioning is great, especially since we stayed during a heatwave. The courtyard and the lounges were all pleasant areas to hang out in. Overall a wonderful stay despite the fact that the immediate surrounds were not so pleasant.

The hotel is not in such a great location. It's a fifteen minute walk to Marais and less than ten to the Canal St Martin which are great areas to explore, but its immediate vicinity is a dirty part of paris. Once you get past those couple of streets though, then all is well again.

Location excellent

We were on 5th floor but the lift to this floor was out of service and looked as if it had been for some time so we had to walk up a flight of stairs.

A nice boutique hotel, converted from an industrial building, and ideally located near the city center. Within just 5 minutes, you can access all the metro lines needed to reach anywhere in Paris center. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, and the courtyard—resembling a lush botanic garden—feels absolutely wonderful for breakfast in the summer.

Our room was on the first floor, which suffered from scarce sunlight and a poor view. The bed linens felt damp, making our nights quite uncomfortable. The shower area had no ventilation, this likely contributed to the overall dampness. The rooftop was also a letdown—it closes early in the evening and lacks both amenities and appealing views.

Very convenient location, very easy access to many metro and bus stations that can get you in all directions of Paris. Comfortable bed. Very quiet (no road noise, off the streets of Paris) besides the courtyard which is noisy until 11PM due to a restaurant and nice seating area. As a couple we enjoyed this part, but for families or if you plan to get an early night, this could be annoying. With a bit of a search, great locations for breakfast, lunch and dinner nearby (for example between the rue Chateau d’Eau, Place Jacques Bonsergent or the Canal Saint-Martin). Friendly service.

Forget about the breakfast at the hotel, there are so many better options around the hotel (better quality and cheaper). Plus you can explore more variety. Plenty of towels, but could need a better softener or higher degree wash.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were truly amazing, and I ended up booking a second night even though I had only planned to stay one night in Paris. However, at the end of my stay, there were a couple of uncomfortable moments — a stranger knocked on my door without prior notice, and shortly after, a cleaner knocked once and immediately opened the door while I was still packing before check-out. On my first day, something similar happened while I was using the bathroom with the door open, which was quite surprising. I’m not sure if this is a common practice in France, but it did make me feel a bit uneasy. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful.

The hotel was in a brilliant location, felt very safe and the staff were so lovely. The only thing was that tissues (ran out on the first day), toilet paper (we were given 1) and towels weren’t changed or renewed in the 3 days we were there even after following instruction to leave them in the shower. The room also was a bit stuffy as there was no ventilation in the bathroom so we would come back in the room after being out all day and it would feel a bit stuffy. Lovely comfy bed, relatively quiet in the evenings and a beautiful roof top. Would defo come back again!

A pleasant hotel with a comfortable bed and very convenient pillows. We slept wonderfully there. The location is quite convenient, with the metro and bus stops nearby. They also allowed us to leave our luggage with them until check-in, which was very handy. The breakfast is very diverse, with an abundance of pastries. The shower is great, with truly hot water (a rarity for Paris!) and good pressure.

Even before my arrival, I started receiving scam emails through Booking.com that appeared to be from the hotel, requesting urgent confirmation of my reservation or it would be canceled. This certainly spoiled the impression, as there are already so many things to take care of before a trip, and I had to write to the hotel to clarify what this data leak was about and whose fault it was. The hotel, by the way, responded quite quickly, and then I contacted Booking.com (from which I never received any response). In addition, the walls in the room were a bit scuffed in places where, apparently, suitcases had bumped against them.

The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and had many different options. The staff was super friendly and the location of the hotel was perfect, very central. I would definitely recommend it and if possible would also return to it. Also, they had a great tea selection in the room for you to drink in the morning or at night.

The air conditioning was set to one temperature and you could either let it on or turn it off. But the on version made the room too hot - but it is only a "dislike" point for me because I prefer my room cooler, even during the winter (was there in October) There was only a mirror in the bathroom. (but these are all minor things)
