It was an absolutely charming stay from the greeting on. The accessible room was truly accessible, getting into it, being in it, and the bathroom as well. The location was perfect, with excellent restaurants and shops, and an easy walk to the river and boat tours. We were there on a freak 100 degree day and the air conditioning in the room was perfect. Everyone who works there is lovely, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. When our flight was cancelled and we were rerouted way earlier than planned, the staff sprang to action watching the kids while I hurriedly packed and had a taxi ready and waiting and loaded us all in safely. We will definitely be back!

Staying in Paris in early July is not cheap - the pricing for our accommodation was reasonable compared to similar other lodging but will try to return at a less busy/expensive time of year.

Great location on a quiet street, yet walking distance to most of central Paris (1-4, 5-7, 9 and 11 within an hour on foot). Very clean, well-appointed room. My standard room had a private entrance via an outdoor walkway plus a window overlooking the courtyard, so it felt secluded which I enjoyed. Ismaël was helpful with TGV and mail logistics. Good breakfast run by a lovely woman (whose name I did not get sadly)… she remembered my coffee order and had it ready every morning which was so kind!

The property was beautiful and location was super. It’s on a great street with shops, restaurants and bars close! It’s really trendy and very well done inside. Room, although the usual small side for Paris was beautiful and had big windows opening onto the street. Good light and decor. The staff on arriving and leaving were excellent. We don’t speak French so I do worry this offends some French people but we were made to feel so welcome. We would definitely come back here.

The only dislike were the pillows. We seemed to have quite hard foam pillows and then 2 very thin pillows which we didn’t find very comfortable. Although this is very personal to an individual take.

The hotel staff really was the main stand-out for us! Upon our arrival at the Maison Saintonage, we received a warm and friendly welcome by the hotel staff at the front desk. They upgraded us for free to their pent house suite which was a lovely surprise! The hotel team even went as far as arranging a bottle of champagne to our room, that our friends had organised to celebrate our engagement. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special, we were well taken care of the entire stay. Each time we left / came back to the hotel, they gave recommendations and tip or simply asked about our day. The room was gorgeous, extremely clean and cosy The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Le Marias - the best spot for top tier, local restaurants that are out of the tourist bubble

The hotel is very cute! I liked the decor and the general feel of the place. It’s located not far from the metro (~5 minutes walk to Filles du Calvaire, line 8), it took us about 10-15 minutes to get to the centre but you could easily walk there (like ~30-40 minutes?). There are plenty of little cafes in that area so it wouldn’t be a trouble to find a place to eat out not far from the hotel. The room was great, pretty small but it had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome, there were various foods, sweet or savoury.

The drain in the shower was a bit clogged and the hair dryer was pretty old and not very convenient.

The staff here are amazing. I cannot fault the service at all. The hotel is also located in a nice, quiet part of Le Marais. You might here some people walking down the street at night, but that is to be expected in a busy, European city. The location is perfect if you want to be near good food, tourist sites. It is a very clean part of Paris!

There could be some additional soundproofing put in the walls, as I imagine if it is busy you can probably hear a lot of other guests.

Such a beautiful quaint hotel located in the heart of Le Marais. There is so much attention to detail and care put into this charming hotel that you can't help but fall in love with it, and Paris. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was hot during our stay and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room is small, but what are you doing in the room it is Paris go out and explore.

Maison Saintonge is a lovely little boutique hotel in a great location in Le Marais. Friendly staff on reception, good English spoken, cosy and quirky design, warm comfortable room and bed, hot shower, and some nice touches like premium bathroom products, bottled water. The rooms are small but well designed, with enough storage to unpack for a few days, plenty of plug points, so you have everything you need. Wonderful to be able to walk straight out to little cafes, restaurants, shops and the Picasso Museum is under 10 minutes away. It's on a side street, so not too much through traffic.

The rooms are close together, so if you have noisy people in the room next door, you'll be able to hear them.

I loved staying at this hotel, the decor is chic with nice details, and the location is ideal. The staff was helpful and friendly. I did not try the hotel's breakfast because there are so many options in the area.

You leave the key at the reception, which is always open, which is great, but I would prefer a more secure approach (receptionists change, and I'm not sure how they keep track of the guests). There was a guest in the next room who was giggling loudly while watching Spongebob, which is not ideal at 5 a.m. while you're trying to sleep, and the walls are not soundproof to prevent this.

So clean, staff were lovely, room was so cute and comfortable.

My room had a coffee machine but no kettle. I think all rooms should have a kettle. Other than that, it was perfect! The only other thing to bear in mind is that while the location is good and the hotel is close to the metro station, it is not centrally located (e.g. for reference - the Eiffel Tower is 40 minutes away via public transport) and the streets are not incredibly well-lit at night.
