Our room was ok - the duplex space is a bit fussy and actually you don’t have very much space. The decor is surprisingly conservative like an old business hotel, I expected it to be more designed.

Style and Location

Didn’t have room to unpack the suitcase as room was tiny.

The place is in the center of Le Marais and all the metro stations I wanted to get to were there. Room was amazing, staff of bar and reception was great. Closeness to the nicest boulangerie 100m away.

Only minor things, but important to me: For such a price I´d like to have a coffee equipment in the room. I was disappointed to know they do not have the bar open for such a thing in the afternoon otherwise. They are the elite of gay hotel in that surrounding. Additionally, over the weekend and before the free day, the bar was closed early and not as written in the diary. Not big let downs, but 2 important things for someone travelling alone.

Great boutique ambiance! Great design in rooms with opal light effects through rounded walls. And a shower with a view to the sky… Very funky. Everything was high quality, and the attention to details was impeccable. Quaint effect with only two rooms on each floor, the elevator in the middle, opening to the side with your room. Quiet street, even on weekends, so don’t be afraid of getting a room facing the street. We were given the impression that there would be noise so we changed room from Friday - very helpful staff - but our worries were, in fact, unnecessary. High quality breakfast - not huge selection, but everything was very tasty. Croissants probably the best I’ve had - did they have a touch of lavender to them, maybe? Heaven!

Detail from breakfast: Coffee average - nothing beats the stuff from the big machine - this was the ‘one touch thing’. But there are cafes on every Paris street corner - and coffee is cheaper at the bar (standing) - so we survived. Rooms were ‘Paris size’ (glad we only brought carry-ons) which is OK and expected - but if I could squeeze in one single thing it would be a Nespresso machine. Its so common in hotel rooms nowadays - and it gives you the opportunity to take a small break in your own little ‘Paris cave’. I missed that.

Beautiful chic boutique hotel in an excellent location. 20 minute walk to the Louvre or Norte Dame, close to trains and busses and wonderful shops and restaurants all around. The hotel was lovely, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. I would go back just for the lovely french breakfast.

The room was very small and the bathroom facilities were split up, a toilet closet on one side of the room and the shower and sink on the other side. Not a great set-up, especially if you're traveling with someone who is not your partner. But great for 1 person.

Small boutique hotel, great design, friendly efficient and attentive staff, in a very quiet location. This hotel is unusual by its design, in what appears to be a completely refurbished old building, now offering a very contemporary and fresh look and feel. The premises are spotlessly clean and staff are eager to satisfy customers' needs (we don't like down pillows and asked for foam pillows which were promptly supplied). There's a cosy inner courtyard that can be enjoyed to have drinks or relax, a well appointed bar (offering premium and top-end luxury brands), and an enjoyable breakfast area. This is a small hotel (16 rooms I think), so service feels personal.

Our room was very small. However it was well designed so the space was well used. Good for a short stay (limited storage space). I can definitely recommend this hotel - we enjoyed it a lot.

Lovely property, cleverly designed to maximize space and comfort. Room is small but offers everything you need, including separate toilet from shower/bathroom to maximize privacy in small space. Very comfortable, high-end bedding, linens, towels, toiletries. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent shower, even a balcony. Unique design provides completely private, secure room access with no neighbors. Very quiet.

Very minor but the hotel put a hold amount on my credit card that was at least $100 more than the amount due.

Comfortable and quiet, but a great central location in the heart of the Marais. Friendly staff, and the courtyard is nice and quiet with good wifi so also a good place to work or have a drink.

There's not much food or drink available during the day, but there are cafes everywhere around. The TV is sort of hidden behind a mirror which is cool at first, but the glass can be a little reflective still when the TV is on so it's not the best experience if you wanted to watch a movie for example. But all the more reason to just get outside and enjoy Paris.

Very clean, courteous staff who gave me very good recommendations and were friendly. Location is perfect.

The breakfast lacked options. For the price, I would expect more - comparing it with other hotels in the same range. I had a superior double room and was traveling solo, but I don’t see how 2 persons can stay in the room and open their suitcases at the same time. There is not enough space to open 2 suitcases at the same time.

A wonderful, well-staffed, centrally located hotel in Le Marais. Well designed, modern rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds. We had an upper-floor with a small balcony overlooking Parisian rooftops. Charming. Would stay here again, for sure.

No complaints. Price was high, but reasonable for Paris.
