Noise from upstairs moving chairs around and toilet flushing. on the photos it shows a garden with seats. It was really just a smoking area with no seats.

It’s location and cosmopolitan vibe, in a less busy, while stimulating area of Paris, within walking distance of the Seine river, and the Latin quarter. The layout and facilities of the apartment was well thought-out, with everything we needed for a single night, or equally as a base for a longer stay in the centre of Paris. This was my husband’s favourite property out of the great selection of places we booked, so we could discover different parts of the city. It really stood out for me, when I was placing the booking, as an apartment with traditional French character. Just as described on the advertising. Bravo! The shared outdoor space was an extra bonus, too.

Everything was to our taste. We booked the larger of the two options, so we could have a separate sleeping area. I charged up my mobile phone at the end of the bed, which wasn’t a hardship, as this meant I could sleep without scrolling on my phone, which is what a bed is for. My husband had to climb across the bed to get into it, but he didn’t mind at all.

I was a bit worried about this place after reading some of the reviews but we had a great experience. Loved our little apartment, F1G Niagara. No bedbugs! Was a little quirky with too much unnecessary furniture but was a welcome retreat after a busy day sightseeing. Double bed in loft not too comfortable for 2, but sofa bed downstairs was great and large enough for 2 comfortably. Also had a proper rollaway bed which was great. Kitchen was good and handy having a washing machine/ dryer. Great location, good wifi and felt safe. Code entry worked great.

Luckily we didn't need to contact anyone but was a bit strange not having anyone on site if there were any problems.

Lovely place, perfect for a 2 night stay. Had everything we needed.

Be prepared for the stairs, didn’t affect us but may to some.

It's a very cosy little room that's perfect for a short stay. The street the room is on has everything you need within a stone's throw. Delicious bakery over the road, great coffee two doors away at Grave and a couple of grocers around the corner, lots of restaurants too.

Not really a dislike for me, but worth noting for others. The beds are right up in the roof and as such, you can't stand up fully while next to them. There are plants over the windows which gives you lots of privacy but it does make the room really dark. Our room is at the top of a very old building and as such the stairs are narrow and will make taking a big suitcase up tricky.

I liked that it was close to the metro, nice little coffee shops, mini marts restaurants nearby all in walking distance. Community was clean, was impressed with the area. so much little shops to visit and see as we walked around.

I had trouble entering the building as the name wasn't on the outside. I didn't pay attention to my email picture. I also couldn't assess the room, again not reading my email properly. We thank Chris the night duty manager who was very helpful. Otherwise every thing was lovely clean, comfortable it is easy assess when you I figured it out. walking up 3 flights of stairs. My husband is 67 and struggled with it.

The location was excellent, lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. Could have walked around the neighbourhood for the entire trip taking it all in. Also very close to a metro stop.

The apartment was very well decorated and clean the mezzanine bedrooms were tiny. My 6 and 8 year old had to crawl up there. Only the 1 year old could stand. The stairs was also very dangerous for kids. I should have looked at the photos more carefully. If you have slightly older kids maybe 8 and 10 who can manage the stairs and will enjoy the novelty of the space its perfect. There is no privacy either as each room looks onto the next. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay

Stylish interior, lovely antique textiles, and photos as decor. Wooden beamed ceiling, cosy kitchen and eating area. We really enjoyed the leafy cobbled.courtyard and felt super safe. The location is fantastic with a distinct Parisian feel, excellent quality food shops, and cafes on the doorstep. Great location.

If being really picky, a refresh on slightly damaged shower tiles and repainted floor and wall. made good where photos are. Saying that overall, the colour scheme and stylish decor were really cool. It would just be even lovelier with a small refresh.

All information needed for check in was supplied in advance of the visit. Finding the building was a little difficult - however - that was due to location of where driver stopped. I had friends meeting me there, and as such can’t give accurate review of access to building. I absolutely loved the view of the garden from my room, filling the room with refreshing fragrance from the flowers outside the windows. All required self catering amenities at hand, plenty of little shops and restaurants close by, and wonderful interactions with friendly locals. I would definitely look at booking this place again on a return visit to Paris.

Slight difficulty with carrying items up and down the stairs - luckily I had help. There are ground floor rooms available for those with mobility issues.
