The staff where super nice and helpful. The location was exelent the Subway was just around the corner. Will go there again .

Nothing everything was fantastic .

The room was well appointed and clean. The only reason why not a 5 star rating has been given is that it was at times difficult to communicate with reception staff but there was a lovely gentleman who was helpful. Also, and this is important, the lobby bathroom was filthy and so in need on cleaning on the day of arrival (it was a public holiday but in the hotel industry and for the cost of accommodation, this not an excuse which will be entertained). It has to be understood that check in times are at 3pm so after any flight especially a long haul flight from South Africa -- guests do want to be able to "freshen up" in a clean and sanitary environment.

The lobby bathroom. And also,I would have liked to wear the complimentary slippers without tripping - on both nights of my stay (also stayed on 16 June but the booking was under my travel companion's name - L. Akakios). A standard "L" slipper is not comfortable for most women... we did request smaller slippers but to no avail / effect. The big things are expected the small things are what make an impression...

The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful chandeliers around the reception area. The room we had was a perfect size, nice and light, plenty of storage space and room to walk around. Lovely bathroom with a great waterfall shower. The bed was HUGE ! The location is absolutely perfect if you are there for sightseeing, a lot of the major sights are walkable and if not, the metro is just around the corner. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including a couple of supermarkets if necessary. Breakfast was Continental but there was enough choice. Lovely breads and cheeses and you can even make your own smoothies. The staff were extremely professional, polite and personable. We had an issue with our safe which was rectified almost straight away. My only gripe with this hotel is that the cleaner was hoovering one of the nearby rooms early one morning whilst we were still in bed. However, this is minor and I genuinely have no major complaints. It's a great hotel and my husband and I were really comfortable. We would definitely revisit.

Corridors can be a bit noisy and a little bit of light was always coming through under the door at night. Don't expect great views, a lot of rooms are overlooking the courtyard. However really not a big deal if you're out and about.

On our last day there was a power shutdown (very rare as they said) for many hours- no power or lights (no emergency lights in the rooms) , no hot water, no wifi -even in the morning. The next day didn't address the issue at all and no compesation offered (we didn't ask for one either)... Except that we had a good time on the previous days

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. Close to train station with multiple metro lines. Range of restaurant options within walking distance. Charming room with large bed and floor space for luggage. Wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Bathroom was modern and spacious.

Shower was non-enclosed, resulting in wet bathroom floors after showering, and shower grate/drain was loose. The room was quite warm overnight despite having the air-conditioning on. A lighter doona/quilt or option for top sheet only would be great during summer.

We came for 5 days and although we got the room reserved it was smaller than we expected and the closets or clothes furniture were minimal. We had to leave clothes on chairs…. Bfast was very good and the staff was very courteous and usually gave very good service

Better furnitures for clothes. Closet and shelves were inadequate.

Fabulous location, would certainly stay in this hotel again, would recommend this hotel to my friends. Breakfast was buffet with good choices. We had a triple room which was ideal for three retired ladies. Staff were very pleasant and could not do enough for you. There are two Elevators in this hotel which was great

My only complain was the bed pillows - could have a better quality pillow. i would have no other complaints for this wonderful little hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this boutique hotel. The employees were all helpful and Isaac who is usually there in the evening stands out as a stellar asset to the team - kind, personable, and a joy to talk to. My room, although small, was perfect for me and comfortable. I also really liked the vintage feel of the hotel which is very close to the metro and central to tons of restaurants and shops! I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed everything.

Excellent front desk staff, eloquent, helpful and fluent in English. Rooms were decent sized, well designed, impeccably maintained and had all amenities deserving of a 4 star. Outstanding location for sight seeing and shopping.

Food and beverage. Breakfast buffet : lacked creativity taste and did not cater to a global population in terms of options to eat from. Also extremely noisy from the way used silverware is managed. Not your moneys worth. Same goes for cocktails at the bar. &
