Very warm welcome, very clean room, no noise from other guests, best bed after a week in Germany and Holland. Staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. Especially Natalia and Maria, both went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Shuttle bus from local train station would have been perfect. Don't advertise it as an Airport Hotel, it is an Hotel within travelling distance of an Airport.

Hi there. I just wanted to pass on our feedback regarding the exception customer service that we received from one of your staff at the Holiday Inn - Schipol in Amsterdam. It was this lady( unfortunately I don’t remember her name), however she was the one that checked me and my wife in at reception approximately 7pm on Friday 27th June. She wore a “ Trainee” badge and the entire check in process was managed in such a welcoming and professional manner. We had just completed a 26 Europe tour with “Expat tours” and had visited many hotels and hospitality venues whilst visiting 20 country’s in that time. However this staff member was the best we had experienced in that entire trip. Later that evening we came and had a few drinks in the bar area with our fellow travelers and again she went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic experience. I have been in the hospitality industry for 26 years and can identify exceptional individuals ( it dosent happen often) She was remarkably and no doubt a great asset to your business. If she can somehow “infect” that same personality to others across your business, she would be very valuable to your company. Thanks again. Dean Vella- Australia.

The staff were very helpful and hard working. Covering the Bar, reception, making delious Pizza's and sorting out takeaway orders. All staff were smart and well presented. The continental breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice, plus great coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. 7-10 minutes walk from the train station, which was a 10 minutes journey from the Airport. Great for a stop over if waiting for a flight. You can get to Amsterdam center via a 13 minutes train ride. But I won't fancy returning to the hotel in darkness.

Lots of construction work in the area, nothing the hotel can do about it. We stayed Saturday night, so did not experience any noise. No bars or restaurants within easy walking distance. Which was not a problem for us.

Complementary breakfast is good. Train station is available nearby the hotel.

Drinking water bottles are not available in the room or at the grocery. Hotel is at Hoofddrop not at Schiphol. The regular day passes work till Amsterdam Schiphol. After Schiphol Airport limits the pass does not work. Enquire and buy suitable pass.

Price and location were ideal for me.

At one time this hotel had a shuttle service (many years ago) and I miss that. If if there were a nominal fee associated with using this it would be great since in the rain the walk to the closest train station is rather dreary and the taxi cost to Schiphol is too high.

Great that it included breakfast in the price with a good selection to start thr day with. Room was clean but bathroom could do with a deep clean.

Location was farther than expected interms of tickets for day commute into Amsterdam..we have purchased Amsterdam and region tickets but Hooffdrop is not included so was caught out by that. There was several apartments being constructed around the hotel which wasn't a noise problem but rather the road and paths closed forcing us to walk on the road at times.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast that was included was available as early as 4:30 am, so I was able to eat prior to departing for my early morning flight. The room and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel!

There was a lot of construction happening in some of the surrounding buildings at the time of my stay which made for a slight detour to access the nearest train stop. Getting to the airport quickly required using an Uber, which took at least 15 minutes to get to my terminal.

For breakfast I was disappointed to see no fried eggs. But it will do... it was enough. But could be better for sure. The yoghurt option was absolutely delicious. The pastries and croissants were warm and that was great.

Would be better if there was shuttle service to and From airport too. For people who have not had dinner, options for meals were limited and too expensive in my opinion. Only canned water which was incredibly expensive was available. Would have appreciated a Sealable bottle instead. Water is a basic necessity.

The hotel was less than a 10 min walk from the Hoofdorp station (20ish minute journey to Amsterdam central), which was really convenient. The rooms were very spacious and really clean and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast had a really good selection: coffees, teas, toast, peanut butter, nutella, fruit, pastries, cold cuts, etc. The staff were nice and helpful. Check in/out was quick and easy. On the last day we left our luggage at the hotel after check out free of charge so we could go to the city centre comfortably, which was a plus. There's showerl gel, shampoo and hand wash in the bedrooms and other toiletries available from reception.

The only downside were the pillows on the bed, as they were too high and a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel is 5' walking from the Hoopdorf station, one stop from Schiphol. It's very well connected to the city center through buses and trains, the central station is 30 min away. It's what you would expect from a chain like Holiday Inn, nothing fancy but everything works. Staff was very kind when I asked for an early check-in and responded very fast when I had a problem with the shower drain.

The WiFi was terrible, almost non existent. In 2024 and as a great hotel chain like Holiday Inn I expect something better. The breakfast lacked some salty options, only boiled eggs. Add some scrambled ones and some bacon and it improves a lot.
