Definitely APA is the best option around, price is great taking on account is next to the Akihabara station, in a restaurant area ! We stayed a week and made it home! Great staff very helpful !! Very good English and they let us store baggage with no problem at all ! Amazing breakfast !! Love the fact you can control the a/c and they gave you fresh yukata and towels every day at your door, probably the best hotel I stayed in Japan.

The streets outside and around are very busy during the rush hours maybe some people could find that stressing. Is only 1 washing machine with a drier I recommend check around for coin laundry!

The Location was perfect for me since I wanted to spend most of my time near and in Akihabara. The Rooms are small but still had enough room for my 2 Suite Case. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. There had been two Issues with my Room Door due to empty Batteries in the Door Lock but in both cases they fixed it in under 5 Minutes so no complains. Only one person at the check in counter spoke english but the non english speakers use Google Translate very well so no Issues during check in or after The Breakfast is ok but nothing special. It can get crowded in there during certain times. There is a 7/11 30 Meters outside the Hotel as well as many many Restaurants and Food Shops. My recommendation is CoCo Curry (walk towards the Station and turn Right at the Zebra) its right there

The ONE thing I did not like is that they only have ONE Washing Machine and Dryer for the whole Hotel. Since it is not possible to check if it is in use you just need to lug your Dirty stuff to the Second floor an hope for the best. Always take your Washing with you when you check since chances are somebody else will take it if you are not quick enough.

The best location in Akihabara, no regrets at all, we stayed there practically a whole week and travel around Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura. We shop like crazy and leave the bags at the hotel and went back for more !. Sadly we make a lot of garbage from the shopping but the cleaning staff help us with everything!! The best of apa is definitely their staff 10/10. Breakfast was very good !

People may find stressing the hotel is in a busy area, think about it, the station, restaurants, stores are all around it. For us was very convenient. There is only one coin laundry so tend to be very busy, ask the staff where is the nearest coin laundry around.

The staff were accommodating with the bonus of a very well-versed English speaking staff. The laundry room and the abundance of vending machines in and around the hotel were also a big plus. The location was a stone's throw away from Akihabara Showa Dori Gate. Convenience stores and good restaurants also surrounded the hotel--if you walk a bit further by the train line, there's also a small grocery.

You can hear the trains until midnight. Also, the small room didn't have space for luggage underneath the bed, unlike in other APA hotels we've stayed in before. The laundry room was small and humid given there was only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel.

The hotel is located at a good location. It is near to Akihabara Station. There are some good nearby restaurants and also for midnight snacks, there is FamilyMart and 7-Eleven convenience right next to the hotel. The room is the right size for couples. The room is comfortable and the hotel has microwave (if you plan to heat up your convenience store food), trouser press and also hair dryer provided. Overall it is a gooof hotel to stay in.

The room looks a bit dated with some wallpaper peeling but overall cleanliness is still satisfactory. Could get a bit noisy sometime outside as there is bar nearby with drunk people walking around at night.

The location was great, just a block from the subway and the JR station. It was also easy to reach from Narita using the private rail (non-JR) express train to the Yamanote line. There is plenty of food nearby, including a choice of convenience stores. The APA breakfast is therefore skip-able. The BBC News on the TV was nice.

APA hotels are APA hotels. You need to be aware of what you are getting and accept the lack of space. It was what we expected. The hotel and the neighborhood was a good introduction to Japan for our sister. We forgot to turn on the in-room heating the first night. It was rather cold but we turned it on the second night.

The hotel was quite convenient being outside of Akihabara station with lots of food options around the area. The room was clean, decent and they supplied us with regular hotel amenities. The coin laundry was quite convenient being in the hotel and was decently priced. No need to get your own shampoo, body wash or conditioner as the hotel supplied full sized of them.

Only 1 elevator and it took quite a while to get the elevator and going down. The rooms were quite small so not a lot of space to have your luggage’s inside

The location for the price is perfect. You have a lot of metro lines close to the hotel ( all the huge JR lines, circle lines, Hibiya line and walking distance from Ginza line. Also there are a lot of stores and restaurants close by. And of top of that, after a heavy day of Tokyo explorting you can always enjoy the arcade till 23:30 in Akihabara main strip, which is also walking distance.

The room can be a little small for some, so please consider that while booking. For me and my friends it was ok enough because we only use it to rest, sleep and shower/bathing. But there wasn't enough room to for example eat some snacks with eachother in 1 room. Minor detail.

Comfortable, easy access, good facilities, great staff.

Around midnight, The area outside of the hotel just by the 7-11 has a few suspicious people who offer illegal services which did not used to be there in the past. This made the daily return to the hotel rather uncomfortable, but this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. The hotel itself is great.

It’s affordable given that it was almost peak season when we checked in. Clean and sleek. Room is small but I prefer that so that my 1yo baby can have space but I don’t need to actually run around.

Not the property but some guests really get drunk. One lady bumped her head on my baby’s face/head when she got out of the elevator. I reported the behavior but no closure due to language barrier, I just let it go this time.
