Very well priced ,clean ,quiet ,nice toiletries ,friendly staff ,nicely situated for us ,ample car parking.😊 .

The room was very warm ,even with window open & air con on , it was just too warm .🥵

Good facilities - gym, pool (which is small and water very warm, but usable), clean and comfortable room. We had a free upgrade to an executive room on arrival, which was nice although not something we'd have paid for - it's a business hotel, the rooms are functional rather than stylish. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel in some years - excellent choice, high quality ingredients, even pretty decent coffee. Parking - like many hotels these days - is charged for, although not expensive at £6/day, and provided the security of barrier controlled entry and exit.

Attracted by the "Marco Pierre White" branding on the restaurant, we gave it a try on Saturday evening. Whilst not expensive, neither was it anything more than a half-average gastro pub would have done at lower cost. Prawn cocktail starter good, red cabbage side with my main excellent - macaroni cheese bland and over-salted, I left half of it. My partner's chicken escalope mediocre. We didn't bother with desserts. Not terrible - but nor was it "destination food". Save your money and walk five minutes down the road to the Plough Inn where the friends we were meeting later that evening had eaten and recommended highly. The strange thing was, breakfast the next morning - served in the same restaurant and presumably prepared by the same staff, in the same kitchen - was excellent.

Other than staff shortage at reception and the fact that it takes 10 rings for someone to pick up the phone, the hotel room is centrally located and room very clean. The thoughtful welcoming gifts are a delight. Family room size is spacious.

The reception could be more staffed. It is usually a queue when I am there and only one reception staff attending to customer. The swimming pool is probably overrated, it is very small and shallow.

Family room was great, spa/swimming pool needed booking - children were loved warm pool. Breakfast was lovely and stuff was friendly and attentive

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent quality with a lot of choice. The location was excellent for taking walks in the surroundings and taking a bus into Oxford.

Lovely little extras like coffee/tea, fridge and bottled water in the room. And a list of "if you forgot...." they bought to the room ..for us it was toothpaste! Appreciated when we asked could we extend our departure time by half an hour, they said an extra hour was no problem.

We chose the hotel because of the spa/pool facilities. Hadnt realised it wasnt open on Christmas day. The pool is small and bookings are taken for a half hour slot. If you are looking for a relaxing spa facility as a priority this is not the best hotel. We now realise why the city centre hotels charge £20 a day parking. If you drive into the centre parking is expensive, plus a zero emissions charge of £4 a day. As this car park is just for the hotels guests, we felt the parking charge should be included in the price.

The hotel room is modern styled and fits our group of 3 adults. The front office is very accommodating to our requests. Complementary snacks were also provided upon checking in. To get into Oxford city was a breeze as there's a regular bus service right in front of the hotel and it's about a 15 minutes ride to town. Would consider staying in again.

The floor staff must always remember, Guests come first this includes lift access.. I personally had the experience of a female staffer with a high trolley who got into the lift and as an after thought asked me whether I was getting in with absolutely no space available.. this was from executive floor. She was very grumpy and simply didn’t care.. Also it’s important besides reception,housekeeping and Leo’s cafe staff, the rest who come out of the office when on in the lobby to smile at guests in acknowledgment and not look stern and walk past.

Very clean and tidy, inviting, great choice for breakfast buffet if a little expensive (£18 in May 2025). Complimentary fruit, biscuits and water in foyer. All staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Very close to fuel station, services and Pear Tree Park and ride for Oxford city centre.

Swimming pool very small, can't swim laps as very cramped. Tiny steam room and sauna, only big enough for 3 people. Bathroom was a bit tired, done floor tiles were cracked and bits of what looked like rust on the outside of the bath. Our double room was very small.

Proximity to Oxford is perfect. Not in the centre but only 20 minutes by bus. There’s a bus stop nearby. We have stayed numerous times and, if you like to walk, would recommend walking to Wolvercote nearby and getting on the footpath just after the Trout public house and follow it into Oxford along the river. We always pick this hotel because we’ve never been let down. Staff are always friendly and attentive, the hotel is clean and well kept, the facilities are impressive and I’ve always enjoyed a great nights sleep there. Breakfast is well worth the extra expense.

Not much I can say in this category. That shows how great a place it is. It can be quite busy and congested around the reception area at times but again it’s a popular place so many guests coming and going.
