Great location. Pet friendly hotel & they were very kind to my little dog. I lost my luggage in transit & had nothing to wear until it arrived 2 days later. One lovely lady took me shopping when she finished work in the restaurant. Very nice room with a great view. Evening entertainment most days. The orthodox Christmas was wonderful. Incredible atmosphere. Breakfast was varied & good. No pet shops in Addis Ababa so my dog had food from the restaurant.

Although it's fine for disabled people in a wheelchair, it wasn't so easy to get into the hotel if you just had a walking stick because the handrails were covered with Christmas decorations for the whole month I stayed there. There was also a ramp to walk up but that was quite hard work too. My only complaint happened on the last day just before I left to fly to my next destination. I'd asked reception to send someone up to help me with my luggage but no one came. I got upset & stressed because I was worried about missing my flight. Naturally its more time consuming when you're travelling with a dog. Eventually got their free airport transfer & made it to the airport just in time.

The hotel is very well located, close to the airport and around good restaurants with local cuisine and with convenient access to attractions. Great that there is a free transfer from and to the airport as many times as you need. Very good and variable breakfasts in the price of the room. Cheap dinners and alcohol and soft drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. In the room decent, and in the bathroom everything worked. Wifi ok. Daily cleaning (except Sunday) gives a feeling of refreshment. Every day there is a new bottle of water. Access by elevator to the upper floors and a wheelchair entrance to the lobby.

I got a different room than I booked. I didn't have a balcony or a garden view. When I requested a change, I got a room with a view but still no balcony. The rooms are a bit cold at night. If there is AC, you can warm up, but without AC it is cold. The security is questionable because anyone can enter the hotel from the street without checking. In the bathroom, either the shower doesn't work and the water barely runs or the drain is clogged and the water spills into the bathroom. The pool is dirty and not suitable for swimming.

The stuff was amazing. Especial Muluken who served me at the pool patio. Exceptional service. Like the pool patio and nightly entertaiment. Breakfast buffet was pretty decent compared to other 4 star hotels near by. Great value.

Shower head was broken. Pool side bar stuff can some time take a long time to serve. If you are looking for a quite sleep, make sure to get room not facing the pool and bar.

I stayed at the Bonanza Addis Hotel for 15 days and had a fantastic experience. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very good. There were a few things that were not very professional, but overall my stay was fantastic.

Location is perfect, the staff members are helpful and friendly, breakfast is good. The marvelous garden, the morning traditional coffee and the live band music on Thursdays and Fridays are also quite enjoyable.

The loud music that comes from the clubs in the neighborhood can be quite hard and disturbing.

The fruit was very good at breakfast. The staff was superb, especially the bellman Zemen. The front desk personnel were great. Security wasn’t as strong as other hotels in the area but I had no concerns or problems. The restaurant staff was mixed. Some were fantastic and others very mediocre.

Security could be a problem. But again I did not have any issues.

The location is ideal very near to the airport, the hospitality the staff is amazing, they can pick you from the airport and drop you off . You can enjoy there fresh food in there resturant, ….. god vibe and if you like full band musique they have it every Friday. The band stop the service at reasonable time so that if you want to sleep or work in your room.

Bonanza feels like home to me. The staff is very friendly and kind. The hotel is located in a convenient Bole area. What I like the most is the garden area where I can work quietly or have meetings while enjoying the traditional coffee made by the lovely woman Rosa.

The live music on Thursday and Friday evenings goes until 11 pm and it can be quite disturbing, especially if you have a garden room view.

My flight got delayed and wasn’t able to make it on the day that I was supposed to, they worked with me and changed my reservation to the following day. And didn’t even charge me extra for that!

I enjoyed the hotel services, friendly stafff as well as the great customer services provided to me during my sojourn at the hotel.

The construction work is tolerable as they are renovating the hotel to make it even more better competitive and environmentally friendly. Another disappointment I encounterd was to find nyself sleeping in worn out and torn out bed sheets. This, however. was rectified after I had reported to the house cleaning staff who immediately reported to their immediate boss. 1
