No major issues: I had a fantastic stay with no significant complaints.

the food was one of the best I've had in Ethiopia, the room is great, cleaned, and filled with fresh towels and toiletries and the staff is not only nice but hardworking too, this is a very lovely hotel by far the best in Bole, Addis Ababa.

the only thing I didn't like was the consistency of the wifi it would cut off and go back on the air conditioning was very hard to set and we would often come to a room that was warm and not cool but then again it was probably because its summer and Africa.

The things I like most was the ambience and quality of the room and facilities provided including channels on the TV. I was happy during my stay it was a peak of most footballs leagues in the world, including European ones and I was able to watch all big matches. I have stayed in several 5 start hotels in Addis and this was my first time to stay at Golden Tulip. The quality of service especially the comfort and serenity of the room was fay above my expectations, as compared to many other hotels of that rating or class. Airport pickup was even more than I expected. The hotel staff was on time and received from inside the airport, which kind of a VIP treatment. Provision of amenities in the room, including bathroom towels, etc is commendable

Limited choices for breakfast, because the buffet was had more Ethiopian traditional dishes. I wish they could also provide intercontinental recipes/foods

Close to the airport. Room was good. Most of the staff except the manger was polite and nice The hotle is fairly close to the airport and you can walk to several restaurants, clubs and shops The manager actually called me to see how to improve the hotel and I told him about refreshing the gym, the lady manager that was rude and the food and so I am updating my review now to a better grade. He gave me a phone number and we agreed to work on making the hotel better

Gym needs a little bit of a lifting. The Ethiopian food at the restaurant was not very good. Food accross the street was much better I had a major clash with the manager who was as stubborn as a donkey and was hiding in her office and refusing to deal with the issue

The hotel is located near the airport and within the peripherals for most of the shoppings. The staff treated us exceptionally well and with a friendly smile. Despite our delayed flight, we had the best driver, "I understand, such things (delays) usually happen, but I am happy that you finally made it here, ans I hope that delay will not deter you from enjoying the beauties of Addis", he commented!

My room had this weird noise that became a bother..,..., I don't know if it was the AC or the water heater, but it bothered me a great deal.

Friendly and Kind staff from Beki who picked me at the airport to Mustafa who helped with my luggages through Enoc at the reception. Room with all the amenities and great location.

15 mn before my check out, the woman at the receptionist called my room and found useful to recall me that I need to exit my room at noon. It was not courteous, as I was getting ready anyway and did not over stay in any way. I decreased by one point my rating because of that.

The room was comfortable.

Felt like the staff was looking for compensation at every turn (pay extra for an early check-in (mere two hours), even though the room was already available - ultimately did not charge us). Mix up about our included breakfast - ultimately not charged. I was a host for a group of women and was the one to explain to the staff what our travel agent included in our documents.

The breakfast catered for both local and international guests. Rooms were spacious, dining area was comfortable, and the location was situated in an accessible and convenient area.

The shower's hot water was not readily hot, had to run the water for a while to shower with hot water. Room service requires attention, food offering and what was delivered was not the best. Aircon and wi-fi in the gym was not good.

Golden Tulip has retained the essence of a cozy hotel with comprehensive personalized services for their clientele. I stayed for 17 days, the meals are great, the laundry service a career saver if you are staying for long. The staff are the best: Bellman Gedlu and the Hotel Manager Ato Dereje are outstanding hospitality workers!

My stay was great. The staff are wonderful and very accomodating of requests. The location of hotel is great, close to many amenities including restaurants and coffee houses. The rooms are big, clean well furnished providing both a working atmosphere and relaxing downtime. All the concierge, the reception staff and only some restaurant staff are friendly. A special mention to the lady at the egg station, bless her. Gerdla the concierge, reception ladies- Addis, Alem, Yuel...(difficult name), Fikar - were superb. The gym is nice. The double glazing on windows improves the night experience as Bole can be noisy. Bathroom amenities and the Green life consciousness a plus . Will be back.

The breakfast was good but found it less diverse if you are not into Ethiopian dishes. Which are equally delicious but not habitual for me as a breakfast meal. The ribs and foul beans were a hit. A larger variety of continental foods is welcome. The bathroom cleaning is too basic. There's mould Around the taps and shower handles. Regular scrub to the bathroom floor can help improve the appearance. But this does not take away the overall good experience.
