The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful at every step. The room was clean and tidy. Wifi worked well. Location is good - close to the airport (the hotel provides a shuttle) and walking distance to numerous restaurants and cafes. I didn't use the pool/spa/sauna but they appear to add a nice touch.

Staff was not able to address the payment questions quickly which was time-sensitive for me - front/reception staff should be able to be helped by the system on such questions, without waiting for "finance people" to respond. Morning coffee at the restaurant needs a new way of making in order to prevent it from being burned. Beg bugs need to be treated asap - I was bitten quite badly (seems to be a persistent issue across many hotels in Ethiopia). I was also charged for the lost plastic door card - this should not happen, such minor losses should be calculated into the cost of doing business so that the annoyance of such petty charges can be avoided (the card also had the hotel name and my room number on it - which is likely not in line with hotel security standards).

It has a lovely swimming pool and a nice shower, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Some of the rooms and bed furniture are a bit old, I recommend they renovate them.

The heated pool and well maintained gym were very nice to have with a child, although the pool didn't have a shallow kids section. Staff was always friendly and tried to be helpful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional. The curtains did a good job blocking the light. The in-room safe worked very well.

There was some confusion about our arrival times, which led to small issues with the airport pickup, but it went smoothly in the end. Breakfast was fine but not something to put in the plusses category. The junior suite room was very large, but nearly empty of furniture. It was very strange to have a huge room without a sofa, table, or anything to fill it. The lightbulb in the desk lamp was missing, and the mini refrigerator didn't work. Hot water took 5+ minutes to reach the room.

Very close to the airport! Great value! Lovely rooftop pool! Comfortable lobby lounge. Huge rooms. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff.

It’s a bit dated and some things kinda falling into disrepair. It could use some upkeep. But, if it got updated, I’m sure the price would quadruple. Adjust your expectations and you’ll be very happy here.

Good place for short stay . comfy beds, good breakfast and very friendly staff . though they only provide transport to the airport they were were kind and brought us to different location when we were leaving (as we did not need to go to the airport). very grateful for the kindness of entire staff in hotel. p.s delicious Ethiopian traditional coffee offered daily in the lobby (for extra fee)

unfortunately, water in shower was rather cold , and non-functioning swimming pool (it is advertised that all guest can use it , but actually in was not filled with water,and there is no bar on the rooftop. pool was being filled up in 2 days we stayed there but before we left it was still not ready. we were told when we arrived that pool is working , so we found it bit strange. we didnt come for the pool, so did not mind that much , however, be aware it might not work when you come . p.s traditional Ethiopian coffee is offered in the lobby and it is delicious but overpriced (you get it much cheaper anywhere else on the street, as we found out later - even in super touristic area in Addis we got it for halfprice)

The main reason I write this review was just to thank the manager. After my stay in the hotel for about 4 days, I planned to travel to Hawassa for one day and come back. I discussed with the receptionist to leave my luggage in luggage room and come back after one day so that I wouldn’t be charged for the day I didn’t stay. I had already paid for 2 days in advance.The receptionist agreed with my plan and I left the hotel. When it was time to come back, I called the hotel and asked if my room was reserved.There was another receptionist who didn’t know about it. It looked like there was a big communication gap between the receptionists. I realized that all standard rooms were occupied. I demanded to speak with the manager. The manager allowed me to stay in a suite room without any additional cost. I would like to thank him. Additionally, the location was in great place. On the main Bole to Meskel Square road very close to the airport. Quite place. The internet was fast. I used to order breakfast whenever I wanted to have different meal than the one on the menu. They were preparing it fast and it was good.

Bigger rooms are a little cold when the weather is cold. They may need to put heater.

This property is located bang in the middle of Bole and so tastefully decorated. The beds are great, rooms are very spacious and well-designed. It is also reasonably priced compared to the irrational pricing in Addis Ababa

The stuff was very helpful and cheerful. The location is perfect in terms of proximity to the airport and the city. Room is very clean and comfortable.

There was only one towel. We had to ask for a hand towel. But this was sorted immediately.
