Airport collection was good. The representative waited hours while I tried to locate a missing suitcase and was still there when I finally came out. This is a true 5-star hotel with all the facilities that entails Lovely swimming pool. The staff were excellent especially the receptionists and the concierge and all spoke good English. Good wifi. My room was very quiet. A friend and I ate at the Oriental restaurant. The food was okay and there was local wine by the glass at reasonable cost. I liked that they were happy to wrap up the left overs for me to eat for lunch the following day.

The room was very small and very expensive for 3rd world Africa. The Hyatt direct booking site tries to fool you by quoting the tariff without the significant fees that are added when you go to pay. (On the positive side Booking quotes the total cost which works out the same as going direct.) Breakfast is extra even though the room is very expensive and the airport shuttle costs an extra US$10 each way too.

Excellent helpful staff. I arrived early morning and staff offered an upsell to a suite. They managed to negotiate a discount so I opted for it. Suite was very nice and was happy to see 'Shattaf' in toilets. Staff were consistently helpful i.e. in arranging the tennis session at the Hilton. The hotel atm swallowed my card and staff made arrangements to have it returned the same day. The ambience in the lobby is attractive. Airport drop off was good and convenient.

Would have been nice to have a fruit basket in the room. At least for a suite. At times one arrives hungry and doesn't have time to go for a meal. I had dinner in the restaurant upstairs but was not impressed by the quality of the food. Breakfast next morning however was good.

Rude staff at the gate. They also don't assist with luggage, so you'll have to load your luggage yourself on the x-ray.

Lunch at the Kitchen Restaurant was an absolute delight! The entire staff was warm and attentive, but it was Yalemwork who truly stole the show. Her service was nothing short of exceptional. She's a perfect blend of grace, professionalism, and genuine care. She elevated the entire experience, leaving a lasting impression that was simply unmatched.

Good location (a short drive from the airport and in a part of town which wasn’t under construction - huge parts of the city are massive construction sites). The staff were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our evenings in the bar, which were lively.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming and the carpets in our room were not particularly clean. We also had a ripped duvet cover on our first night.

i feel like the waitress at the garden Cafe are the only one, not polite and disrespectful. one of them told me that i talk too much, while i was chatting with my gf. everyone else there is nice and friendly

Super nicely designed hotel in the center of Addis. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, rooms nicely designed with all amenities that one would expect. The hotel bar is buzzing on the weekends and always has a good crowd to catch up with. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I booked transport at reception for an early morning flight and the staff confirmed. Later when I heard from another guest that the roads would be blocked the next morning for some security reasons, I inquired with the reception again and they confirmed the situation, so I was able to change by airport transport. Obviously the hotel didn't bother with informing guest affected by that, so luckily I was informed by the other guest, otherwise I'd have missed my flight.

the gym was below expectation, reusable plastic cups should be avoided.

Ambience, simplicity, beauty, friendliness, food and items sold quality, music, cozy, safe, reliable drivers. great outdoor pool. It felt like home.

I liked everything. perhaps the spa requires renovation, it needs to be sealed from outdoor/street noises. the massage was great though!

- no real spa area (jacuzzi and steam room), only sauna and treatments - rooms a bit pricy for the standard of same hotels in the city
