Our experience at the Radisson Blu, Addis Ababa was exceptional from start to finish. The staff's warm welcoming put me at ease, and they were readily available to answer any questions I had. The pick-up service was seamless and a delightful introduction to the hotel's hospitality. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Tadesse and was incredibly helpful, and throughout my stay, Brook, Azariyas, and Abel were helpful in assisting with any queries I had. The restaurant staff, from breakfast to dinner, consistently provided outstanding service, truly everyone earning a 10/10 rating. I am already looking forward to my next visit. I had an outstanding experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Addis Ababa. Everything about this hotel was exceptionally good, but what truly sets it apart is the incredibly kind and professional staff. The team here gives the hotel its unique personality, and I can confidently say this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had during my many travels. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect, making me feel welcomed and valued. The level of service is world-class, and the entire experience is a testament to the commitment of the staff to excellence. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the best of the best. It's truly a gem and one of the finest examples of exceptional hospitality.

I liked the fantastic professionalism of the staff, at the reception, in the different services ( restaurant, maintenance, security, ...) The restaurants provided a superb range of refined and well prepared dishes. The morning breakfast buffet, as well as the lunch buffet are just gorgeous. The staff at the business lounge (9th floor) is also perfect in being attentioned and making one feel welcome . I used to be a Sheraton guest over many years, but this place makes me have no regrets , and the price of a stay here is only a fraction. A great place to be in Addis. Thanks to all !

Proximity, African hospitality, amazing staff! Abel especially at the front desk went over and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible which I really truly appreciate. I got injured (not at the hotel or hotel related) while in town and the staff really were concerned which I really appreciated

Being right in the city with only nine floors made it susceptible to noise and interference which was disruptive for a light sleeper as myself. I had to move rooms thrice yet I could still hear the generator running and cars on the road from the other side. Not sure much can be done about that but just a heads up.

Staff, Staff and Staff, best thing about the hotel!, all are doing their very best to make the guest happy, they are attentive, friendly and welcoming. Room A/C working well, bathroom water pressure and temperature excellent. breakfast timing starting @ 6:00 am until 10:30 am there is a forex office in the hotel lobby with good currency exchange rate (slightly better than the bank rate when exchanging USD to local currency). location near unity park with walking distance.

Not major things: Room doors can be heard when slammed specially in the early morning when guests are going for breakfast ( sound isolation). I ordered one time food to my room, it took longer than told (45 min.) My airport pick up missed , agent wasn't there , due to flight delay despite informing the hotel prior departure about it!

Very friendly staff, always ready to assist, reception competent - the whole hotel team. Breakfast and dinner buffet very good, nice coffee shop (Tomoca), quiet and nice places to meet with friends/family, money exchange office behind reception, airport shuttle reliable, security measures in place, located in center of Addis ... why to go into further details ... A lot of high points for the staff who was friendly and accommodating. We made use of the restaurant / bar during the day and evenings. Made use of the spa and gym also which was adequate. Good value of money overall.

The street in front of the hotel was very busy. Great for people watching from the room but we had problems trying to get our friends to pick us up, or to use ride share cars due to the ongoing construction of the driveway and busy road as there was no place to park and pick us up, except for inside the hotel premises.

Hotel is very nice, calm, also well managed, quiet with interntional service , clean. as for businss travellers, i think this hotel is nice to focus on only working . good location. ( whhile sheraton, hyatt in addis, so many outside people is around, like public place however this hotel is very quiet, good for work)

The safety aspects. Good WiFi. Friendly staff, always willing to help. Good breakfast. Airport shuttle available. Free bottled water daily. Comfortable chairs, mini fridge with tea and coffee making facilities.

I would prefer a mug for my coffee in stead of the cups that are provided. The mattress dips to the side if one lies close to the edge. The problem was solved by sleeping more towards the middle of the bed.

No mold, sockets not falling out of the wall, doors close, toilet doesn't leak. Think my bar is low? Think again. We stayed in different hotels in Addis and beyond, and only this one was properly clean and functional,so we could relax.

While the hotel is western, the staff is definitely not. Male staff addressed my male colleague only, ignoring me - which is what everyone in the country does, of course, but hey - if you want to provide western service, you have to work on your sexism too. Oh and this extends to equal treatment of female employees too, not only guests.
