The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, fresh, bright, great size with seperate shower with excellent hot water pressure and lovely toiletries! We paid $120USD pn thru 3rd party - no breakfast but that was a still a good deal. Originally we were quoted $160 which would’ve been too much for a standard room as everything else is on the higher side (eg restaurant). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was they charge $7USD each for an airport shuttle when all other hotels around inc the others we stayed at have free airport shuttles and are lower cost rooms. The location is quiet with not many eating places close by but it’s a fab location to walk to Meskel Square, Unity Park, Imperial Palace etc.

Our experience at the Radisson Blu, Addis Ababa was exceptional from start to finish. The staff's warm welcoming put me at ease, and they were readily available to answer any questions I had. The pick-up service was seamless and a delightful introduction to the hotel's hospitality. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Tadesse and was incredibly helpful, and throughout my stay, Brook, Azariyas, and Abel were helpful in assisting with any queries I had. The restaurant staff, from breakfast to dinner, consistently provided outstanding service, truly everyone earning a 10/10 rating. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Everything was perfect!

The staff was simply Superb! Especially the Supervisor Mr. Brook Akalu. Not only did he help us to get a quick tour of Addis (we only had 2 days there) but when we got back I realized I left my purse in the safe. He video called me while he opened it and made arrangements to get it to me back in Switzerland. The coffee shop downstairs has the most AMAZING pastries!! And the dinner in the restaurant was simply delicious with a most helpful and courteous lady waitress. I would HIGHLY recommend staying her.

I liked the fantastic professionalism of the staff, at the reception, in the different services ( restaurant, maintenance, security, ...) The restaurants provided a superb range of refined and well prepared dishes. The morning breakfast buffet, as well as the lunch buffet are just gorgeous. The staff at the business lounge (9th floor) is also perfect in being attentioned and making one feel welcome . I used to be a Sheraton guest over many years, but this place makes me have no regrets , and the price of a stay here is only a fraction. A great place to be in Addis. Thanks to all !

Everything really - from a smooth check-in process, comfortable room, excellent meal choices (breakfast and dinner) at the buffet (never boring), the staff!! I especially liked the person touch for guests who booked via booking.com - a gentleman called Brook is in charge of that. That made the processes smooth. I also liked my room on the 8th floor - beautiful view!

Staff, Staff and Staff, best thing about the hotel!, all are doing their very best to make the guest happy, they are attentive, friendly and welcoming. Room A/C working well, bathroom water pressure and temperature excellent. breakfast timing starting @ 6:00 am until 10:30 am there is a forex office in the hotel lobby with good currency exchange rate (slightly better than the bank rate when exchanging USD to local currency). location near unity park with walking distance.

Not major things: Room doors can be heard when slammed specially in the early morning when guests are going for breakfast ( sound isolation). I ordered one time food to my room, it took longer than told (45 min.) My airport pick up missed , agent wasn't there , due to flight delay despite informing the hotel prior departure about it!

Proximity, African hospitality, amazing staff! Abel especially at the front desk went over and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible which I really truly appreciate. I got injured (not at the hotel or hotel related) while in town and the staff really were concerned which I really appreciated

Being right in the city with only nine floors made it susceptible to noise and interference which was disruptive for a light sleeper as myself. I had to move rooms thrice yet I could still hear the generator running and cars on the road from the other side. Not sure much can be done about that but just a heads up.

Very friendly staff, always ready to assist, reception competent - the whole hotel team. Breakfast and dinner buffet very good, nice coffee shop (Tomoca), quiet and nice places to meet with friends/family, money exchange office behind reception, airport shuttle reliable, security measures in place, located in center of Addis ... why to go into further details ...
