First and foremost, the staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially since the check-in process was new to me. The studio was spotless upon my arrival, and I particularly appreciated the bidet in the bathroom. Another highlight is its prime location—just a one-minute walk from the Noli building to the train station, making it easy to travel anywhere.
I initially had trouble opening the door because I didn’t realize it was automatic. Maybe it was mentioned somewhere, but it definitely wasn’t indicated on the door itself, another thing is there was no TV on my studio. but i think its a good thing because i was pushed to go outside.

It had enough for someone to stay for a sufficiently long time. The breakfast was simple, with options like croissant sandwich, omelette, fruit juice, tea/coffee. Location is very good, close to the Aalto university. Also there's a K-market adjacent to it and you can get a lot of ready-to-eat food options from there.
Since for breakfast it anyway stocks up everything beforehand and only heats it in the microwave at the time of serving, i think it can improve on the choices by simply asking the tenants beforehand about the type of food choices. Like I would have liked some english breakfast served once in 3-4 days.

Very nice hotel in a nice location I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although it’s located outside the city center, it’s in a quiet and pleasant area, and the metro makes it easy and convenient to reach the main attractions. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the sauna, which was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a nice choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Some additional amenities would significantly enhance our stay (Toiletries, Slippers, coffee machine, bedside table / nightstand).

The studios are contemporary, comfortable, and very well equipped. We also had a beautiful sea view from the 14th floor. The bed was comfortable, and we slept really well during our whole stay. The studio has a well-equipped kitchen, a big fridge with a small freezer, a dishwasher, an oven/microwave combo, literally everything you need, even for a slightly longer stay. The bathroom is not very big, but works well and is equipped with a washing machine. Dryers and further washing machines are available in the shared laundry on the ground floor. Further, there is an excellent gym, a sauna, a social room with a pool table, and work spaces. Parking spaces can be booked for a fee, and the building is dog friendly - the perfect long holiday stay for us! We would definitely recommend staying in Noli Studios in Otaniemi to friends and family.

Facility: The room had everything you need: a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine. If you needed utensils that you don't find in your room, there is a kitchen downstairs from where you could borrow utensils. Downstairs, there was a common laundry room, gym and a sauna, a few tables with board games and a working space for people looking to do HomeOffice. The staff were available downstairs most of the time. There were cleanings of the apartment scheduled every other day and a refill of things and linen change scheduled once every two weeks. Location: The location was perfect because there were grocery stores nearby and the tram stop was also nearby. You could take the tram directly to Sello Mall and the Leppävaara railway station. It was also one tram stop away from the Aalto University Metro, from where you could reach Helsinki railway station in less than 20 mins.
There are issues with the heating system in the rooms. It was centralised and the settings therefore could not be changed. It would reset every time you tried to increase it. Despite having raised this issue with the staff, there was nothing done. I heard the same issue had happened to other guests as well. I was fortunately equipped with a lot of woolen wear which solved the issue for me temporarily.

** Hotel Amenities: Nice sauna, workout gym, recreation/living area, common kitchen, laundry center (has many washing machine and dryers and irons/ironing boards, other hotel sponsored activities. All these amenities are provided with no charge/cost. ** Hotel Breakfast: Pre-purchase at hotel 15 Euros, pay without pre-purchase 17 Euros. But if you don't mind, you can get all you need for breakfast from K Market as you have a furnished small full kitchen in the unit. See below for additional information. ** Location: Conveniently located to Aalto University (~12 to 15 min walk) and Aalto University Metro Station (~10 to 13 min walk to Exit B). Helsinki Central Station or Market Square (and other Helsinki metro stations can be reached in about 15 min or so from Aalto University Station. Right next to the hotel, there is K Market (less than 30 seconds walk from the hotel). There is a great walking/running/bike trail along the sea within less than 2 min walk from the hotel. ** Room: Very clean and each unit comes with small kitchen (furnished, including dish washer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, induction cook top, dish soap and clothes. Thus, it is a studio unit. No TV in the unit, but you can rent if you want one. Unit has two good size closets for your clothes and other belongs. The room was cleaned every other day. ** Overall rating: I'd highly recommend if you are visiting Helsinki area and Aalto University. Especially if you plan to stay short-term (e.g., a week/weeks) or longer-term (months), I'd highly recommend this hotel. Also great value for your money.
**Hotel Check-In: I would not put this in this section (What didn't you like?) if I had a self-registration code before I arrived at the hotel. Self check-in requires a 6-digit code from the hotel via email. Due to my booking was through Booking.com, I didn't receive the code. There was no person in the hotel office when I arrived and it turned out that the person was working elsewhere in the hotel to take care of something. Thus, I called Booking.com and it provided the 6-digit code after contacting the hotel, almost 15 to 20 min on the phone. I was told that hotel didn't sent the code to me. Self-check took about 10 min and you issue your own rook key as well during the registration.

We were attending a conference at Aalto University, which is close by, only a 1.2 km walk, and there is also a tram service, which we did not use, preferring to walk. The walks in the forest and beside the marshes are beautiful and a fine example of Finnish government planning to keep green areas with natural beauty integrated into residential, educational and cultural facilities. There was also a well stocked supermarket just across the car park.
The check in procedure was unnecessarily complicated for exhausted international travellers from the other side of the world. The reception staff could have been more proactive helping, but they were pleasant and courteous. There was little else to complain about, other than the cafe owner was a little on the mean side when rewarding the breakfast vouchers.

New building, new rooms, felt fresh and modern. Set up for a long term stay (washing machines, tumble dryers etc downstairs). A supermarket opposite the building as was a tramline to the other side of Helsinki. Tube within 5 mins walk, easy access to Helsinki city centre. Carpark (booked and paid in advance) in front of the building. Friendly staff.
Automatic ventilation in the rooms: no possibility to open the windows. We could only change the room temperature by 0.2 degrees, which meant that the rooms felt hot and stuffy. Self-check in: a slow system and unusual to have to fill in passport details for everyone staying in (and their social security numbers). Privacy was an issue as there was very little room between the two tablets, and someone else was filling in their details next to us. Also, there was a queue so a person behind us could see our details. One of the bedrooms was windowless.

The accommodation is next to Aalto University. It is easily accessible from Helsinki by metro. There is a shop next to the accommodation which is open late. The check in was automated, you had to fill in a check in form on a tablet and activate your room card. We received detailed instructions from the host about payment and check-in beforehand. The room was on the 15th floor with a nice view. It was clean and had everything which is needed for a short stay. Breakfast was served in a café in the building. Being Finnish accommodation, there was also a sauna. :)
It was impossible to switch off the air condition, so the air was constantly flowing in the room.

I spent a whole month at Noli Otaniemi. It really exceeded my expectations. First of all, the building and the facilities are very new. Especially, I like the laundry with high-end machines. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor facing the sea. The view was quite good and I witnessed the whole process of the arrival of the spring season. It was quite enjoyable. In terms of the location, it takes less than 10 mins by walking to reach the metro station and the tram station is just in front of the building. It is quite near (8 mins by walking) to Aalto University where I worked. I saved a lot of time and money on commutes. Besides, there is a very nice hiking trail with some observation platforms for observing birds near the place.
It would be more convenient if the paper-based appointment for laundry could be replaced by an electronic system. Moreover, I think cleaning every two days is not necessary. Sometimes, the staff comes too early in the morning for cleaning. I suggest offering a 'Do not disturb' badge, similar to the 'pet inside' one.
