It's a very nice self-service hotel. Guests do not deal with a receptionist or any other staff and do not have to carry a physical access key. A guest is just supposed to enter the keycode sent in an SMS by the hotel before check-in time on the keypad next to his/her room's door to access the room. The location of the hotel is not bad: it's neither in the city centre nor too far from there. It takes half an hour from the hotel to Tampere Central Square on foot. If you are in a rush or feel lazy, you can take a bus from the bus stop in front of the hotel to go to the city centre as well. The hotel has a bistro and there is a supermarket across the street. My room was basic and small, nevertheless, it had some basic kitchenware such as a mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, microwave oven, plates, glasses, dishwashing liquid, and cutlery. I didn't go to the bistro but the microwave oven and other appliances in the room were useful as I ate convenience foods I bought from the supermarket for dinners. The room and the bathroom were clean enough. I liked the smart shower in the bathroom to avoid waste of water. The radiator could heat the room very well. My bed was comfortable. The wireless Internet connection was hassle-free.

The location of the hotel was not a remarkable problem for me, but I bet some guests are not pleased with it being a little bit far from the centre. The hotel is basically in the middle of rent-a-car offices and car showrooms and for dining out the only options are the bistro and the supermarket. Dining out being said, in my opinion, breakfast could be included in the reservation package and be served in the aforementioned restaurant. There was no housekeeping and my room was not made up either, but perhaps I had to do something to request it. Overall none of these is a double-trouble.

A very cosy place to stay in and in fantastic location. Check-in to the room with the door code was smooth. The room was compact but lovely with all the essentials. The hotel is close to the Hatanpää/Arboretum park where you can have nice walks, and it's still in short distance from the centrum (approx 1.5km/20min walk /10min bus ride to the nearest shopping center Ratina). The nearest bus stop is ~100m from the hotel.

Even though the store is right across the street, one cup of tea or coffee on the house would be nice :)

I liked the set-up of the hotel. It had an industrial but modern feel. The room felt spacious with the smart organization of the furniture. It was nice having a coffeemaker, silverware and other supplies for food/drink preparation. The staff communicated well regarding the check-in information.

Everything really was fine. I'll just note that the location is a little far from the center of town, although it is really easy to get to.

The room was neat, beds were comfortable, sufficient kitchenette, spacious bathroom and it was very clean. Easy access, free parking in the yard, a small grocery store across the road made the short stay very pleasant.

All good, but I did leave couple suggestions to make it even better.

Very good place to stay in Tampere for a day or two. Kitchen was well equipped. Grocery store is across the street. Bathroom is very clean. You can park behind the hotel for free. No need to contact people for check in, you just receive a message with needed info.

The location is not exactly in the center, 20 min walking to center. No cafes around. Would be nice to have tea or a bit of coffee in the room.

Clear instructions to enter the hotel and get to my room. Well equipped room with public parking near the hotel. Bus stop to the city centre nearby, as well as a supermarket across the street. Stable wifi. Good value for money.

No elevator available to get to the room.

I keep coming back to this hotel when travelling to Tampere for work. It is comfortable and quiet. At walking distance to the city center but clearly out of the busy central area with traffic and shops. It's clean and nicely renovated. Free parking, always spaces available in the big parking area. In the same building there is a lovely little cozy restaurant & bar where you can relax and eat good food alone or in good company and enjoy a very friendly n excellent service. Also there is a food shop across the road handy to grab breakfast or something to heat in the microwave if you want to stay the night in the room.

There was a kettle but there could have been a couple of tea bags too :))

The room was well equipped, super-functional with desk, closet, minibar, microwave, coffee-maker, etc. The bathroom was large and in great condition. The air conditioning was good as well. I was surprised at how comfortable the bed and pillows were, in comparison to many 3/4-star hotels in Finland and around Europe. The hotel seems to be well renovated and in immaculate condition. Location was easily accessible via public transport (bus). Overall, this is a great option for a solo traveler, offering good value for money. I would surely like to be back.

No complaints at all!

Check-in the hotel was super easy, you get an access code to outdoor as well as in the room. The room were really clean and nice, bed was okay (but if you'll have twin beds they are bit small).

Only two minus side from the room you can say is the pillows which were totally miserable, and if you enjoy to watching tv, then get ready that it's on the smaller side.

Not having to deal with people to check in. Very good communication to arrive and self check in .

Not as idyllic as the photos suggested. Went down to the restaurant to eat and was told too busy.
