Beautiful and practical hotel room, great view, easy walk into the city center, highly recommended

Needed to litterally change my car parking 1 spot next to it, after full unpacking, still don't understand why., there was no other car, no sign, nothing. Why do I have to fill out all my personal details again if I already filled out everything on booking.com. Every room(?) had a serious audio installation. We were not so lucky as other guests think it's fine to party until 3am with loud music. Hotel staff didn't do anything about it.

The size of the room was as expected, kind of small but comfortable and convenient. The location was great , just outside of the old city center so a bit more comfortable for sleeping. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Not the biggest fan of the transparent shower cabin and the fact that the toilet doesn't have an actual door. I was travelling with my mom but I could see how this could have been a bit annoying with a partner for instance.

Nice design hotel in Munich center. Very easy to reach by metro.The hotel bar is so nice and fancy that a lot of nice people us it to drink good cocktails and nice coffees. Very easy to check in for German standards. Great personnel! The design of the room is super original and cool!

The beds are comfortable for sleeping, but due to the cool design this might be a little difficult to get into it and out of it. Especially if you are a little older or less mobile.

Bed was a smidge uncomfy but that might also be my back Hard to poop while someone else is showering because of the glass wall separation

We loved this hotel! The decor is sophisticated and fun-- the open lobby/restaurant area was a great place to hang out. We had cocktails and a pizza in the bar that were excellent. The buffet breakfast spread was AMAZING... not to be missed! Our room was perfect - cool decor, comfortable bed with all the amenities we needed. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful... special shout out to Sadja and Adina for their help. Location was excellent... just a 10 minute walk to the main train station. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Not a thing! It was a perfect stay.

The hotel vibe was great. The downstairs bar was very stylish and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a corner room on the 9th floor with a fantastic view and the floor to ceiling windows made it very light and airy. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. The rooms are not large but they were well equipped and laid out and perfect for a short stay with not too much luggage. The whole hotel was characterful and very well presented. Free tea/instant coffee in the kitchens on each floor is a good idea. The reception staff were super helpful about storing our luggage for as long as we wanted on our departure day. Would definitely recommend.

Small quibble but a machine to make real coffee in the kitchen would be a great addition. If you didn't have eye-masks for sleeping you might be woken early by the light coming in through very pale curtains

we had paid for breakfast via booking.com but the hotel insisted we hadn’t, we weren’t charged anything extra and ate each day but we had to have a big discussion each morning about it

The hotel overall has a an incredibly friendly vibe. The staff were always accommodating and with a smile. They offer little extras like free citrus water in the lobby and free tea in the galley kitchens on each floor that make the stay more comfortable. I stayed in the smaller room which is quite tiny, but the space is used efficiently. The bed was super comfortable but really was like a nest so may not be so good for someone with reduced mobility. The lobby was a very inviting place where you could easily just hang out or have a drink. The hotel is also in a good location to explore different parts of the city with good access to the main train station.

Well located and good value for money considering it wasn’t expensive at all. (But you get what you pay for.) Breakfast was good though a bit expensive (€20 if you pay ahead).

Very scratchy, cheap, uncomfortable sheets. No privacy for the shower - it’s clear glass that opens to the room. Check in is Ryanair style - you do all the self registration work while an employee watches you struggle through a 5+ minutes of registration work on an iPad. Breakfast is overpriced. Beware that the first floor rooms are essentially part of the bar area that’s open 24/7 and gets busy.

I stayed for 2 nights with my 17 year old daughter. We found the Ruby Lilly to be Modern urban with interesting decor , it’s based in a great location. 15-20 minute stroll into the city centre. 10 minute walk from the main station. We both Loved breakfast, a great selection including delicious bakery goods , ham cheese , fruit and an endless supply of coffee. It set us up for a busy day sightseeing. We had a ‘nest’ room which was compact and extremely comfortable. Bed was very comfy as were the pillows. Loved the large shower and the selection of shower gels, and hand soaps which smelt divine. All staff were welcoming. We both Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are looking forward to trying Ruby hotels in different locations.
