Finding such consistently clean rooms in Munich is rare, but this hotel exceeds expectations. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition—every corner was spotless, fresh linens were provided daily, and the attention to detail (like neatly arranged toiletries and perfectly made beds) made my stay feel luxurious. Thank you for maintaining such high standards; it truly made a difference!

Excellent customer service. Hotel service and central location are Excellent. Close walk to Old Town or to Oktoberfest. Directly across the street from the Train station. Nice breakfast with plenty of good options.

Due to its central location, the area around the front entrance is very busy and somewhat dirty. Many hundreds of travelers transition between trains and busses.

A super lovely hotel in an excellent, super convenient location across from the main train station. We stayed in December, high price and high season, but they still managed to make everyone feel welcome. The rooms were very small, not unlike many other hotels, but the kind of small where two people have to turn sideways to walk past each other. Still, it was comfortable and the amenities were nice. The 5 star breakfast was unlike anything we'd ever experienced, and - bonus - enough seating that there was never a queue, even in high season. Despite the bustling location, the room was surprisingly quiet.

I didn't care for the chaotic check-in setup. All the rooms were ready at the same time, believe it was 3 PM, so there were dozens and dozens of people with bags and suitcases pushing into each other in a crammed small-ish lobby area with no obvious queueing system. It could have been a bit more systematic, with recognition that it was high season.

I had a fantastic 5-night stay at NH Collection Munich. The location is unbeatable—right next to the main Munich station (Hauptbahnhof), making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and taking day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle and Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The room was spotless, with a king-size bed that was very comfortable. I appreciated the variety in the breakfast spread—I never got bored of it despite my extended stay! The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, which, although quite basic, was a nice addition. Another highlight is how easy it is to walk to the Old Town from the hotel, making sightseeing effortless. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a solid breakfast to start the day! I had read about the area around the station feeling sketchy at night, but personally, I didn’t experience any issues (though I didn’t go out late).

None met my expectations.

Very convinient location next to the Cetral train station which is Metro station stop. Easy to be reached from the airport. Main street and street on the side provide easy access to tram lines. Walking distance from Karlzplatz. The hotel personnel was very helpful. The breakfast is really good.

The only down side for the hotel is that the room was not thoughly cleaned on arrival - dust on bedside tables and lamps. The fact that its next to the central station makes it both good and bad as it attracts all kinds of people. There is no restaurant in the hotel and the choices at the bar are limited.

I rarely write reviews, but must recognize the nice stay by NH. Nice service, cleanliness, comfy room and nice design. I will just suggest a small thing that makes a big difference. You have 3 or 4 stands with people at the reception and the first on the left is for rental cars, which is not clear as there’s a banner the looks like a regular advertisement and not “exclusive for car rental”. There was a queue and by instinct, when people see a clue, what do they do? Go to the end of the clue. If you have a clear communication like a tag on the desks, would be easier to understand where to go and don’t spend time in line.

Great location. Munchen hbf was across hotel. Very convenient to take trains which we did to our next stop. Breakfast at hotel was good. Chinese restaurant 10 mins walk away. Supermarket downstairs. We could easily walk to Marienplatz, Old town fr hotel. Easy walk 10mins?) we could see police cars patrolling the area which made us feel safer😀 check in and out was very expertly done.

The windows need to be closed at night to shut out noise ( trains arriving/ departing, people talking in streets below- we werr on level 10) from street below. So we didnt get to enjoy the cool breeze at night🥲

The location is near central station and is about 15 minutes walk to Marienplatz with shopping and Christmas market. You can also walk to Viktualienmarkt which is a farmer and food market. There are good eateries near the hotel such as roast pork at Ayginer and noodles at Slurp Nulderbar. The room has 2 double beds and is spacious enough for my family of 4. The breakfast spread is one of the best with a wide variety of food. The room temperature is warm enough for winter. The reception staff are friendly. The room is kept clean everyday. If you are considering day tours, radius tour is just at the next building which is convenient for tourists.

Nothing much. There are some homeless around hotel which I think are harmless and they don’t disturb you.

We were at Hotel NH Collection München for seven nights, and in retrospect, it was an excellent choice. The hotel's location is excellent for users of public transport or pedestrians. The central station with trains to everywhere is outside the window (see picture). The drop-off/pick-up stop for the Lufthansa bus to Munich Airport is about 100 meters from the hotel door (cost 13 euros one way). Within a 7-minute walk, you reach Karlsplatz and the entrance gate to the old town (see photo), and from there, another 15-minute walk to the center of Munich and Marienplatz. The subway is right under the hotel and 2 stops from Marienplatz. Restaurants and shopping are everywhere around the hotel. We got a large, spacious, comfortable, clean room with everything needed. Cleaning every day. Excellent free internet. Excellent breakfast. Welcoming and helpful staff. A bottle of water every day and small treats. The sealing of the room is good, and you don't hear the street noise, but the windows don't open, so you need an air conditioner 24 hours a day.

Despite the good, not everything was perfect. The hotel is relatively expensive. Around the hotel is the central station, which has questionable people. One day, the room was not cleaned because we probably pressed some button indicating a request not to clean and not to disturb (probably a misunderstanding). We asked the receptionist to wake up, which did not happen. At checkout, the receptionist promised to send us a final bill by email stating that the meals are included in the room price, and that didn't happen either (hopefully, it will be taken care of). However, I would choose this hotel again.

The air conditioning wasn’t the greatest. The room never felt cold.
