Staff was great, particularly the bellman. They stored our luggage and put it in the room when ready. He remembered our name when we left two days later. Room size was great. Location is close to the train station, and an easy walk to the square.

No parking available at the hotel. You need to park at the public parking nearby. Even though it is close by walking, with the car, you need to make multiple tours around to go and back to hotel. Breakfast is not included and 25 Eur/person additional cost. For a hotel at this price level, breakfast should have been included. As it is very close to the bahnhof, during the night there were a lot of noises outside, both trains and loud people.

Our experience at the hotel and in the room was lovely. Staff was WONDERFUL. So helpful and gave excellent recommendations for eating out and traveling to and fro on the trains. Daily room cleaning was great. Loved the sconces on the walls in our room. The old world sink and bathroom was such a nice change from all the modern finishes most hotels put in nowadays. It was absolutely charming! Just the right amount of furniture and also a nice desk to use during the stay. Our room also had a cozy little sofa to relax on instead of the bed only. Plenty of storage space and a bathtub. Turndown and chocolates would have been a nice touch :) Overall, we loved our time here.

The breakfast was really lacking. Options were ok. The coffee really needs improved. I was so looking forward to a nice strong espresso and found out it was pod coffee, basically. No flavor and tasted like Nespresso pod coffee. Very disappointing and I left everyday feeling sad I didn't get a nice cup of coffee. Bad hotel coffee can ruin a breakfast experience. I would stay here agin in the hopes you can improve the coffee situation. I know alot of times, hotels try to accommodate tourists but truly good or signature European espresso is a MUST.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The staff are incredible, the food at the hotel is magnificent, the cleaning is efficient, the toiletries are L’occitane - it’s in an amazing location if you’re a tourist because all the tours leave from around the corner and it’s a short walk to the central station. The room has plenty of plugs and a travel adapter, fair sized safe for money but probably won’t fit a laptop, lots of hanging space for clothes but not a lot of space for an open luggage bag. Breakfast is lovely and highly recommend including it in your stay since even coffee shops in Germany open late.

The WiFi in my room sucked as well as the general signal for cellphone reception. On my last day I realised that there was one spot in my room (right next to the door) that actually got WiFi. But if you plan on lying in your bed and doom scrolling, then it’s a no no. You can just go downstairs.

Stayed for the 3rd time. Main reasons: location and price. Very convenient, as it is just in front of the Main Train Station. About 30mins walk to the center.

This time it was a room on additional floor without elevator. It was hard to take two big suitcases up the stairs. Did not like windows in this room: some parts made of half-transparent glass tiles like in toilet, and curtains were not enough wide, so it was very light in the room. And there was some kind of technical balcony outside connecting all nearby windows (did not feel safe). And this type of room was smaller, then previous two times that I stayed. If the first time I stayed it was this kind of room - I would not stay here in future...

location was excellent, within walking distance from the train station. The only problem is that it was very hard to find with all the constructions going on around the train station, and the hotel staff gave me very unhelpful directions by email. Needless to say how frustrated I was trying to find this hotel which is supposed to be just 5 mins by walking. I ended up walked a long route, on foot, with luggage, by following the very misleading directions given to me by the hotel. I was very upset when I got to the hotel. The rest of the stay was just excellent.

I loved to be able to really control the room temperature (not having the constant AC all day long, like at some hotels), the bathtub was great, the bed was very comfortable, the staff did an excellent job of cleaning daily, the location was also great: the REWE is very close, and the train station is not very far. A bonus was having the hotel provide a bathrobe and slippers.

I did not like the coffee espresso machine--could not figure out how to use it. It would be a good idea to have a non-slippage mat inside the bathtub. Also, because of all the construction going on, it was hard to find the front entrance to the hotel, for the friend who dropped us off. The young lady at the reception gave us a print-out for next time, since google maps were no help.

The breakfast buffet was quite excellent and we should have taken advantage of it sooner. The nearest coffee shop was about 10 minutes away otherwise. The hotel is only a few meteres from the Karlsplatz train station making travel quite convenient. The hotel interior is quite beautiful providing a spacious bedroom and bathroom. The staff were very helpful indeed and we had no trouble at all with our limited German language skills!

My only negative remark is that the bathtub is rather high sided with a round bottom - people with mobility or balance issues might be challenged entering or standing in the tub totake a shower.

The room was clean, had a great bed and the staff were very friendly. I really loved the vibes of the room. The location is great as well as it's right by the train station. The room had all the amenities, even the bathroom floor was heated which was a really nice addition.

There was a bit of noise outside during our first night, and the windows weren't quite blocking the noise from the outside. But then this didn't happen during the 2nd night and considering it's a big city and near the train station I wouldn't say it's a big problem.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom with quality fittings. It had windows that opened which is always a bonus. Toiletries that were provided were lovely. I liked the Green Option that gave you room credit to spend at the hotel. Mini bar prices were comparable to the supermarket. Very friendly staff.

There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
