I did not have breakfast at the hotel but the location for visiting Munich was excellent, I could not have wished for better. The hotel is not a luxury hotel but for the cost I got everything I needed and the staff were courteous. It is located close to the rail links, day excursions and the Old Town, which is the reason I chose this hotel. The man on reception, when I left was excellent, I wish I had asked his name, as the day before I had asked the young lady to organise a taxi for me to be there at 8 am. This was not done but the young man did not hesitate to organise one and he managed to get me a taxi within 10 minutes to take me to the airport, which I really appreciated.

I always take my mini travel kettle with me which is great as I can have a hot drink in my room in the mornings and the evenings.

The hotel is a short walk from Munich Central Station (Muenchen Hbf) where you have access to trains, trams and subways. It's also close to the old town center (Marienplatz). There are a lot of options for eating out, supermarkets, shopping, museums. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast they offer is very nice and affordable. The room is super comfortable.

Some small kitchen appliances like a mini fridge and a kettle would be a great addition. Sometimes we had to crack the window open since the room becomes super hot at times, also during the night, even in the winter (it was -2 C/ 35 F outside).

We had an excellent experience. Daniel at reception was very helpful – we arrived quite early and tired, and he managed to get our check-in moved up by an hour. We loved that they provide a space to store luggage if needed before check-in or after check-out. The room was pleasant and very clean. The hotel’s location is perfect – it’s central, in a quiet area, but surrounded by lots of handy spots like cafes, restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and even a laundrette. Being close to bus stops, trams, and the station made getting around on foot or by public transport so much easier. When I return to Munich, I’ll definitely stay here again.

It would be great if the hotel had its own laundry facilities.

Great location close to the Altstadt and other forms of transportation for our short stay. A bit of noise one night on a nearby street, but otherwise surprisingly okay considering the central location, Housekeeping staff very thorough. Room, as we expected, was small but had all the basics and very clean. Front desk staff friendly, helpful and professional, solving any issue quickly. In spite of no air conditioning, we could open the windows for fresh air and the room had a nice fan provided.

Expensive, but they all are in this location for basic small room. Underground station just meters away. Only issue was that I did not want to be charged in the morning for a small coffee. One small free coffee would have made it even better for me Wish the TV had more English channels, but couldn't find them. Shower was excellent, the best in any I have been used in a hotel. Room very clean and quiet. I would go back there, wish i could have stayed longer.

Location was excellent! Super close to the Munich Main Train Station (about 2min walk). Reception staff are all very approachable, helpful and friendly - multilingual and can speak English - traveller bonus! ;) They also have luggage storage which is great if need to go sightseeing after check out. Rooms also have pretty designs, especially the lights of the town of Munich above the beds 😁 Only downside was the noise you hear from the busy city and tram/train lines but otherwise, no other issues, would stay here again, thank you so much! 🙏

I had a fantastic stay at Smart Stay Station Hotel! Everything was perfect—the rooms were comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to store our luggage after check-out, which made exploring the city so much easier. They were also very polite and went above and beyond, offering free water and hot coffee, which was a nice touch. I’d highly recommend this hotel to everyone! It’s also super close to the hop-on, hop-off bus, making it easy to see all the city’s sights. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was very cleann , Front desk super friendly and always help, Just because of these two Afgan guys I recommend this hotel, they make all good everything for their customer, In front of this hotel have i terrace where we can sit smoke drink talk and enjoy street, receptions also help to us find our loosen telephone in Frankfurt

In this hotel dont have a AC, if weather is hot u can breathe in a room. Fan is not helping, dear bosss spend money and fix AC , it is 21 of century all world using AC in a summer, outside 31 degree ,

Amazing location: SO central!! 5 minutes from everything: city center, central train station, busstop for Memmingen airport. The staff reacted very quicly replacing our tv-remote when I told them it was not working.

Our room had strictly no WIFI network and didn't get any during our all stay. Bedroom doors very noisy when visitors enter and leave their bedroom. The room was exactly as I expected it from the pictures but unfortunately, despite being quite newly-renovated, the walls were quite marked and damaged.

The Smart Stay Hotel offers a highly convenient location in the city center, making it a great base for exploring Munich. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the cleanliness of the room met expectations. While there was some street noise, it was manageable and didn’t cause any major disturbance.

The one drawback was the thin walls, which made it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Despite this, it’s a solid choice for those prioritizing location and comfort at a reasonable price.
