stayed in Cocoon Stachus at least three times, was never disappointed even for a bit. fantastic location, always friendly and helpful staff, as always clean and cosy rooms. many services and amenities. ideal place to stay for either shopping or touring around Munich City Centre.

Shower in the bedroom in a family room. We had to shower in the dark. Absolutely no privacy for us or our teenage daughter.

Location was great, close to the train station and local trams. Not too far to walk to the old town and museums, as well as contemporary bars and restaurants. The room was cosy and a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing and brewery hopping. The staff were very friendly and available to answer any questions if needed. Would happily stay here again.

There was nothing that comes to mind that we didn’t like. Be mindful - the lift only goes to the 5th floor, so if you are staying on the 6th floor and have accessibility needs you might need to mention this before arrival.

Very homie hotel, they give you free tea and fruits during the day. The staff was normally very nice. The cocoon swing in the room was pretty cute and the room was honestly suprisingly big! We enjoyed our stay very much

Asked for a room cleaning at 9am and when we got back to the room at 8pm the staff had forgotten about it. Just FYI you need to be very comfortable with the person you're travelling with since the ''bathroom'' is not in another room but inside the main room. The sink and shower are separated from the main room by a courtain while the WC is in a little room.

Location is amazing ! Staff was polite and helpful. Place was clean. Lift works fine. Storage space is locked and accessible. Balcony with room was great. Indian restaurant opposite to hotel is great. Some malls like old and plenty of eating choices. Walking distance to Marienplatz is great advantage. Plenty of underground and tram options nearby.

There is no Tea or coffee in the room and in kitchen it’s chargeable. How they expect people to come downstairs and have coffee. They can at least keep a kettle and coffee pouch. There are no hooks in bathroom for hanging towels ! Like why ?? Stayed in room 552 and there is sliding door to toilet and bath .. not a good idea !!

The room was clean, modern, a good size, and fairly comfortable. The beds and bedding were great. I liked the decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The location was very handy to the U-bahnhof and city centre pedestrian area. There are nice restaurants on the same street too. When comparing the quality of the room and location, the price seems good. Would stay here again.

There were no ceiling lights on our side of the room, just reading lights and some strip lighting behind the bedhead (half the strip wasn't working), plus the light from the shower room. This made it a bit difficult to see what we were doing when packing our luggage for our flight. Also we couldn't understand why there is a big clear glass pane between our bedroom and shower room. To save on lights maybe? It made it a bit awkward when our kids were having showers - we had to go sit in their room when they showered to give them privacy. My son also thought the glass pane was a doorway and walked straight into it, hitting his face on the glass - no damage done, but he had a little cry from the shock.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had a fair amount of space and a good balcony with a cool bubble swing seat. The shower and toilet were clean. They had an iron available which they brought to the room. 24hr reception so felt very safe and could always ask for a new towel or soap etc. Definitely need to rent bikes in Munich and the bikes they had available were perfect but make sure you book ahead. They could have a fridge in the rooms and they could do with a full length mirror in the rooms, as well as a few more hooks to hang things on but those were the only things missing really. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks cocoon! Oh and the bed was so so comfy.

Please could you add a full length mirror, some more hooks and a fridge to the rooms please.

Breakfast was very good, perhaps a bit expensive. Very good central location, less than 15 minutes walk to Marienplatz and close to u and s bahn. Good eco credentials (I don’t think you need to change sheets and towels every day).

Given the location and height of the room, a good view couldn’t really be expected. The office windows across the street (10m distance) gave a view directly into the room (to be considered when coming out of the shower!). Net curtains would be an obvious solution.

What a cute hotel! I love the theme and that the rooms feel welcoming, rather than just being a bed in a box. In addition, the staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

If I had to be picky, I would complain that there is a giant construction-looking staircase right outside the window (maybe it’s temporary), but seriously, are you choosing a hotel near the train station for the views? You just want to sleep next to the train station while exploring the beautiful city.
