So I read just about every review I could of this place and it seemed like people were talking about two different hotels. Some people mention all kinds of horror stories about their stay while others had totally pleasant visits. I wasn't sure what to expect! I had a great stay! I was visiting Munich to enjoy several days of hiking throughout Bavaria, so I just needed a safe, clean place to sleep & shower near the train station that wasn't too expensive. This was perfect for me! I really couldn't have been happier with my stay as it perfectly met my needs. And it had an in-room A/C unit, which I didn't expect at all but definitely welcomed! Great value for this traveler. The street noise wasn't bad, the neighborhood seemed fine (I wouldn't want to go much further south - it gets pretty active and wild at night 1-2 blocks further), and the bed was clean and comfortable. It's not a luxurious 4-star stay, but that's not what I wanted and out of my price range. For my budget this was ideal.

As other reviews state, the bathrooms are a little dated. But they worked just fine for what I needed. The common areas could be a little better lit, but again this is a minor complaint.

We were a family of 3 staying in Munich for 5 days. The hotel is across the street from the main station, which was perfect when we had suitcases to drag. Munich is a very walkable city and this is helped when you're central to it. Many of the popular sites are within about 15 mins walk but you can get to pretty much everything inside 30 mins. The staff were really friendly, spoke great English (if you're not confident in your German) and very helpful. The breakfast was a completely satisfactory continental breakfast. Mainly croissants, variety of cereal, bread, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, juices etc. There was warm option of scrambled eggs (with or without ham). Our family room was very big. Usually when we travel we end up with a double bed and a sofa bed. Here was different as there was an actual bed for our child (16 yrs old). The room was big, plenty of room, clean.

This isn't anything the hotel can change but to be aware - when we travelled there was a large construction project going on in the street outside the hotel. The only real impact was access to the street was affected which made finding the hotel on the first day a little bit of a challenge, and the construction work started each morning from about 0730. This is likely to be complete by summer 2025 (I think). As the hotel is located very close to the train station, there was often a buzz of noise in the evenings. Never loud or troublesome, but to say it's not a quiet street.

Room and Bathroom was spacious. Location is excellent. The staff are excellent. The senior citizen lady at the reception in morning shift is very friendly. She deserve extra bonus. The gentlemen in the evening shift is also very helpful. He also deserves extra bonus. The lady in the kitchen during the breakfast time today, she is very understanding. She deserves extra bonus.

This is not a complaint but a kind request. Please run clean bleach on all white cloths and towels. Just to be on safe side, in case some spots are missed out. It's no one's mistake so please do not make it a serious thing. This is why I'm advising on what to improve, not what is wrong.

Very quiet ,clean, all though the loud area, comfortable room and bed and the lady at the reception also polite and helpful ,for a short stay a very nice option, I here is the rule of ,what you pay for, is what you get, so for the 3 stars hotel, the price and the location ,very satisfied ! A good choice for a short stay in Munich, especially if you travel by train!

bathroom very old must be renovated, but ok for the use, only the light over the mirror was not function and so I had problems to dry my hair with the hairdryer, because it didn't work also. difficulty parking if traveling by car, small narrow street with difficult access to the hotel entrance due to renovation in the building opposite

A little old-fasioned, but proptly equipped and refurbished rooms. Spacey. Clean. Perfect location 5-7 min from Railway station. Next to the Doner bar. Everything as expected. Good silencing windows. (Building works outside - but nothing annoyed us)

Heavy Building works outside on the street. Even hard to get main entry. (well not that hard.. but some fences and ways around). On first sight grumpy but sympathic after few words recepcionist. (Why still do they all require handwritten data like address, email, guest name - its all in the booking) . Beware - recepcion working until 23:00 - later use your room card and "night doors". Generally - better than expected.

A very comfortable hotel near the railway station. I was lucky, my windows overlooked the courtyard, and it was quiet, so if the windows are on the street, then there is construction on the street and it can interfere with recreation. Kettle in the room. The room, the bath is very clean. Grocery stores nearby and a pharmacy. Attractions can be reached in 15 minutes by foot.

There is no refrigerator in the room. Probably it depends on the price of the room.

Location to train station.

For the location this place is overpriced. A little sketchy area surrounded by gambling halls and strip clubs. No kettle was provided in room, yet we had instant coffee, tea bags and mugs, but no way to make it. We had been given a room with a non functioning A/C unit and very poor wifi. Complained at the front desk and moved to a room that had both working. With the price of this place, breakfast should be included. This place could use a mini fridge. Once again, OVERPRICED!

A very good hotel, location was good and most importantly very near to center of the Munich. The staff person was very humble and cooperative. We reached lately at night our keys , room was prepared all accessories was set by the hotel staff. I like the way they provided us guidelines for getting the room key it was very nice experience with them. Thanks !

Every thing was perfect but the location is little bit noisy because of construction work. Otherwise all things are good.

Location, location , location. Other than being in the old town (which would be very expensice) the area near the train station is close to most attractions and a major transport hub. Room was small but clean, if it were summer then a fridge/mini bar would be ideal but no problem. Staff was friendly and helpfull and had no problem with english. Did not take breakfast as there are many food shops and supermarkets near there and in the train/U station. A perfect 10 for value for money.

There was some construction next to the hotel and if you are a light sleepper there might be a problem in the early morning. One morning there wasn't hot water but it was due to freezing temperatures overnight and affected the city network connection that provides it, it was fixed before noon by city workers and Hotel had no responsibility but maybe they should have a back up boiler for such incidents. Heating was not affected because it was on during the night and connection was not frozen.
