The location is great as it is a 5-6 minute walk from the Central Station. The property is good for solo travellers and even for a group looking for a cheap accommodation. They even have luggage storage facility here and charge you 1€ for the lock (I’d recommend carrying your own lock and luggage storage would be free for you). They have a cafe near the reception where you can chill and have your meal as well

The staff (at least a couple of them) were very rude and didn’t really know how to smile even. Other than them, the other staff were very courteous and willing to help out any way they could

Location is perfect. Just minutes from the central station, from where you can go anywhere. Personnel was helpful. Breakfast was decent. Common area was nice but quite simple. Room was ok, concerning its size (we were 2 adults and 1 child in a 4-bed room) and beds had good mattresses. All areas were clean and tidy.

Not enough light in the room, during evening. Slow elevator. Towels for rent and not in standard room equipment (its written in their page, though, we were prepared for it). No tv, no wifi in the room, not enough amenities. An average hostel with its main advantage being its location.

Everything about Jaegers Hostel is great, everything works perfectly. The location couldnt be better, it's right in front of the central station so you can go to all stores, restaurants, laundry place and city center in less than 10 min walk. The dining room is large and the breakfast is delicious. The room is spacious, it has lockers and a table with chairs where you can work. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is my favorite part because the materials are new and modern, so you get this feeling of freshness and quality. I love the power of the shower, because the water comes really nicely, yet, very strong. Thats my favorite part of the day: showering. Also the bathroom hace plenty of space, i really like it. The lobby and the reception area are very welcoming and cozy. People at the front desk are very helpful and solve problems very fast. The lady that cleans the rooms is very nice and kind. I love everything about this place, would definitely come back.

I was staying for 3 weeks at Jaegers and the staff was just like family. Kimon the bartender was fantastic and highest pleasure to hang out with at the bar. Marco, Sinan, Sarah and Andi as well as Cinthia have been friendly, funny and coped well even with the rather unpleasent clients which always find a complain about every solution. The manager team are amazing as well, treat their staff well and support their foreign housekeepers with integration quite a lot. Lots of Love to the Ukrainian Breakfast Lady as well. And yeah - the staff basically made it feel homey.

Probably best hostel I've stayed so far. Excellent friendly staff, hostel made for youth meaning you will most likely avoid some shady people. Outlets to each bed, 2 toilets in the room. Great 8€ breakfast buffet, option to have late checkout for just a mere 5€ extra. 50€ for 3 days is a BARGAIN! Recommended! Excellent location next to main train station,

I'm not sure if the AC worked in the room because with 8 people in the room, it felt very dry. A little too much noise coming from corridors at late nights. But that's bearable.

Room, location, and hospitality of staff.

The situation for parking wasn't clear enough. On booking it was written that there is an option for parking near the hotel for 14 EUR a day. When we came, they told us that they have a deal with private parking across the hotel, so that guests of the hotel can get a discount for parking. So in the hotel, they put a stamp on our parking ticket. We thought that we needed to show that to someone, but the hotel told us that we can put the ticket into the parking automat and that will be enough to get cheaper price. So, we parked a car there for a day and a half and at the end we paid 32 EUR. So I am not sure how we got that amount, having in mind the price that was written on Booking. If it is more expensive, you should update the price on Booking.

The hostel is conveniently located in the city center, making it a great base for exploring. I especially appreciated the hospitality of the lady at the reception. I arrived early, and she went out of her way to assist me with everything I needed. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out, making me feel welcome right from the start. The hospitality here is top-notch, and it truly made my stay enjoyable. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The staff was super helpful! Amelia and Cintia at the counter helped me figure out what I needed to do to prepare for my US visa appointment the next morning, like printing some things out. They were very friendly and welcoming! The bed was comfortable and there was a large table in the dorm to work/eat on. I was able to store my luggage in a locker after checking out and worked in the lobby area for a couple of hours too! The vibe was nice but not disturbing :)

The common washroom in the dorm was a bit smelly.

The location was good, I could go out and come back to the hostel if I want to recharge since it's very central. The room and bathroom was very clean since it gets cleaned every day. The air conditioning was working so it wasn't too hot in the room. The mattress is firm and was comfortable.

The beds squeak even with little movement. Bathroom didn't have a rug so after someone showered the floor was flooded. (If you were on the top bunk you would need an extension to use the sockets, or just leave your electronics on the floor.)

This was the most comfortable room of our stay. We stayed in a family room and not the hostel side. We had just stayed at another hostel in a family room and this one FAR exceeded our expectations after that one! The best bed of our travels. The room was so quiet. The bathroom was large and lovely. The room was large. Excellent proximity. Barely heard any train noise (right near the main station). We would stay again (and redo our other hostel experience here)!
