The location here is amazing, if your plan is just walk around the centre of city, is perfect to live here. And also, the facilities here are new and clean, and i also feeling safe to live here. And breakfast here is cost-effective.

The chef who manage the breakfast have bad attitude to me. I was waiting at receptionist to buy a breakfast ticket. but the chef say hi to me tell me to go in. So i am little confused and go in , he asked me to give him ticket, i say i don't have ,i need to buy, should i pay here? And he become very impatient and saying not clearly. I said i know i will buy ticket at the reception now. he just very directly to show his impatience and anger. I really don't know why he can be so angry. And the receptionists here, some are very nice! !some are really just not that nice, the first day when i checked in, that girl knew i can't find the package room.but she just repeating the word instead of really show me the package room just right in the receptionist room.

Great location, good events to meet people, good price. Only 4 showers for all the shared dorms but somehow they were always free.

The room had no window and was just air conditioned. There was no kitchen.

Property was clean and had a good vibe. Coffee was very good but the breakfast was ok but good value for only 8 euros. The location is excellent because it’s in walking distance to Marienplatz (15-20 min) or you can take the UBahn there in only 5-10 min. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and our room came with private bathroom and shower which I liked. Some rooms have shared baths etc. plenty is eating spots too. Nice bar down stairs with good vibe.

Actually it was more than I expected so good value for $$. Breakfast is the same and I got cold eggs which turned me off. But it’s eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and yougurt, toast, bread and pretzel of course!

The hostel has elevator access and uses key cards for entry, with a small €1 deposit that’s refunded at checkout. Upon arrival, you also receive a free welcome drink, which was a nice touch. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping. Shared toilets and bathrooms were also well maintained and hygienic throughout my stay. The buffet breakfast was very good and affordable at just €7.90—great value for what you get. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the surrounding area, which didn’t feel very quiet or safe at night. I even witnessed some guys fighting nearby, so it’s something to be cautious about. .

Staff were super kind and helpful, room was clean, common room was good with a bar, microwave, kettle, TVs, and events on some days (karaoke and pub quiz whilst i was there). Location was ideal being a 5 minute walk from the main train station and a 20 minute walk to the old town (alt stadt). Full of chatty people, so go there if you are looking to make friends. Breakfast is fantastic value for money being only €8 for an all you can eat buffet.

Personally, i found that my roommates in the 3 bed mixed dorm were SUPER noisy, but that is what you expect for a hostel, so just be prepared for potentially some disruptive sleep.

I was in Munich for Oktoberfest and the hotel was a 15 minute walk to the fairgrounds - super convenient. I had a private twin room with shared bath. The room was clean, beds comfy. The room was on the 4th floor overlooking the street and, not surprisingly, I heard late night revelers. For the ladies, there are two showers and two toilets and they were always available. The hotel price was grossly inflated because of Oktoberfest and probably on a normal day, it would be a good value. There isn't a kitchen - only a microwave and a kettle. There is a refrigerator behind the front desk where you can put small items. The front desk staff were nice. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport using the S-Bahn. The surrounding neighborhood is typical city stuff. There's a Lidl grocery store at the end of the street where I bought my meals. The 7.90 Euro breakfast looked really average (toast, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc.) and I never purchased it. Overall, a nice stay for Oktoberfest.

Inflated price due to Oktoberfest. Street noise of late night partyers. I wish they had a kitchen.

This hostel has restored my faith in humanity. My first trip to Europe has unfortunately been marked by a few less-than-ideal hostel experiences across different cities. Euro Youth is the last stop—and thankfully, the best one. The 5-bed room is spacious and comfy. The buffet breakfast at just 8€ is incredibly generous. All staff, from the reception to the bar, were really really helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, not only near the main station but also near a connecting elevator so you don't need to walk too much in case you have heavy luggage.

The laundry is very affordable for an expensive city like Munich, you should do your laundry here. But the machines are a bit old so make sure you read the instructions carefully.

The hostel is conveniently located close to the train station. Although the street itself seems a bit….messy. But it’s ok. The room is very spacious and there is even a table and chairs for people to sit and hangout in the room. The bed is super comfortable, although it will be nice to have curtain for privacy.

The shower head in the bathroom is fixed, which is not that convenient. There is no kitchen, but there is microwave and kettle. However, the fridge and tableware is not in the public space and I have to borrow the tableware from the reception every time I need it. It’s a bit troublesome, although the staff is very friendly and happy to fetch it for me.

I just love Munich! I regularly go there just for the sake of it! And I always stay at Euro Youth because I don't enjoy staying alone in a hotel room. The big rooms with other people are still very calm.

Next to the beds, little hooks would be nice. To hang up keys, cables, jewelry, etc. A cupholder for water bottles would also be very useful, as would a holder for computers or books be. The little table next to the bed is a bit small for all of that as I was travelling with a few books and two computers.

The staff at the reception have been well trained to be courteous. They answer with a smile and help you with all your questions. They have free luggage storage in case your flight/train is a few hours after your checkout. They also have a safe to store valuables after checkout. This facility is a boon for travellers and backpackers alike. You could roam the city freely after checkout. 24 hour reception also helps a lot.

A few things could be better like some of the facilities but at this price, I don't want to complain. The neighbourhood is not the nicest of Munich but at the same time it is also super comfortable in terms of access. Central station is literally 2 mins by walk from there.
