Not much not too like

Hot pool was a bit disappointing as expected a swimming pool

The atmosphere is great with subdued lighting in the foyer and public areas along with a rustic theme. Good space in the public areas and courtesy coffee for guests at breakfast. The hotel was busy and didn't seem crowded. Location is good, further out along Banff Ave out of town which is easily walked but ask for the free pass from the hotel to use the bus service (usually $5 a day). Fridge in the room is useful and not the mini bar con!

The superior rooms are exactly the same as the standard rooms! Don't pay the premium unless you specifically want an outside window rather than a courtyard window. The rooms look a little used (wear and tear).

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, offering us upgrades where possible to improve our stay. They treats our pup like family offering her a toy, a treat, and a bed. They understood how to make the stay special for us and our pup. The overall feeling in the lobby was friendly, having a full wood burning fire during the day, added to the atmosphere. The hotel was busy yet so quiet, and a within perfect walking distance to downtown. The hot tub was a perfect bonus to this space. We will be staying here again.

Everything was pretty nice and enjoyable. The spa/pool was so good, We enjoyed that very much. Provided 3 day local roam busses passes, which was really handy. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Got to our tiny little corner room, which was pretty cozy, but when I checked the fridge to put my food in, I discovered it was warm and moldy. The hallway area was pretty stuffy due to the pool spa/area. Our upgraded room was cold and only had a floor heater, so we had to use the fan provided to get the room warm.

The interior of the lobby was very cozy with seating around the fire. Staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had. Our room was located down the hall from the spa and pool. We were very pleased and the beds were super comfortable. Access to the local buses were less than a block away and directly across from the hotel.

Although the dinners from the Keg do not disappoint the breakfasts that they put on are something to be desired. Very poor breakfast for the price. I suggest going somewhere else

This is beautiful hotel located about a kilometre from the heart of Banff. The bed was huge and luxurious. The shower and water pressure fantastic. The hot spa was an excellent treat after a day of hiking or tours. The hotel staff were lovely, helpful and informative. There is undercover off street parking, and an excellent selection of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel provides vouchers for the Banff bus, which stops almost out front of the hotel. There is an inhouse restaurant and bar which we didn't have time visit, it appeared to be very well attended. We chose this hotel as a splurge and treat for the end of our holiday. It was perfect.

Good location and food in the restaurant was incredible. Beds are comfortable and rooms spacious enough for a young family of four.

Some of the staff seemed as though they really didn’t want to be there. Smiles and acknowledgement of hotel guests go a long way to setting the overall tone; however there are some really great people working there, albeit a small majority. Rooms are starting to look a little dated when compared to other hotels down Banff Avenue. Not a lot for young children to do other than the pool. For the price it’s becoming less and less reasonable every time we stay here. Unsure if we would go back and we’ve been staying here for almost a decade on our trips to Banff!

The room was good for 2 kids and my wife. This is our 4th or 5th trip to this hotel. We really like it especially the open fireplace is awesome coming in after a cold day.

No heads up that the pool was closed. Not ideal when the kids go to a hotel and first thing they want to do is go to the pool or hot tub. Could do with an upgrade interior is getting dated.

The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The shower had really good water pressure. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and not too busy. The gym was small but had good basic equipment. Toiletries and towels were provided and very nice, and the free parking was a great bonus. Staff were very nice and checked us in early for no extra cost

Nothing, the property was amazing. It was a small distance from the main area but the walk was pleasant
