Was within walking distance to many sites and restaurants. On site food and drink options offered what we needed for our short stay. View out of our room onto the city skyline was beautiful at night. Spacious room with comfortable bed and seating options.

Was easy to hear sounds from the hallway and neighbouring rooms - could even hear the sound of our neighbours opening and closing the drapes/blinds. Luckily, most guests on our floor were quiet, except for one returning group very early in the morning. The sliding bathroom door does not slide flush with the wall, leaving a large gap that provides very little privacy (sights and sounds). It also very easily slides out of place, and is not lockable from inside.

They made our anniversary extra special. The greeting cards and chocolates were simple yet very thoughtful and much appreciated. The room was clean. As a person allergic to dust, I can tell right away when a room is dirty/ dusty. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back again, that's for sure. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

We just hope the swimming pool is operational. We weren't able to swim as we were told it was under maintenance.

The room was great, spacious, clean and well laid out. The breakfast was very yummy and I stayed for a few drinks in the evening, a good selection. The location of the hotel was brilliant and very handy to have the Calgary Tower opposite as a way to navigate back to the hotel. Good location for trains and busses as well.

Signposting around the hotel wasn't great so I don't think I made the most of all that the hotel had to offer and I found logging into the Wifi very confusing and managed to be charged for it (which thankfully the receptionist took off for me). Some reception staff were very helpful, others were a little cold. I particularly appreciated the staff member who patiently tried to book me a taxi to the airport, her perseverance was appreciated.

Hotel emailed Approval Valet parking for my Harley with agreement I would be parking myself. When arriving, no one had a clue regarding the email. I was harrassed and told to move. Not a nice welcome. Other cars were able to unload luggage without a problem. Unfair customer service.

Large window to look out over the town. Walking distance to restaurants, drug stores, grocery store. Very good hambergers. A little far from the river parks (half mile), but doable. Parks were wounderful. Room temperature was easy to adjust. Quite (16th floor).

A little problem getting the toilet to flush at times. Perhaps due to a water saving device.

Breakfast in the room was terrible. The food was properly prepared and tasty but my poached egg came alone in a box!!! No plate! How was I to eat! My husband’s food was shoved into a box too. Worst room service presentation I have ever experienced! Eating it was no fun. Plastic silver which I hate.

Location

The concierge staff were great and the check-in staff were also good but the bar staff were quite snobbish. We had one drink and left as we did not feel like the bar had a nice atmosphere at all.

The open, welcoming downstairs area. A special extra: the maintenance guy was able to open my samsonite suitcase. Somehow the lock attachment on the end of the zip had been wedged into the lock during handling from my flight from LA and I could not gei it open! The guy carefully used giant cutters to cut the lock attachment, yet still enable me to use the zipper. I don't know what I would have done without this help. The little touch at checkout where there was a bowl of freshly made chocolate coated , mouyhsized sweets, wrapped in cellophane for guests to eat. They were delicious and it was so thoughtful. The quality of the food, which was excellent. A lot of care in devising the menu and great execution. Talented chef. Great king sized bed. Great location, in the centre of downtown.

We checked in and immediately were upgraded to a beautiful room, just cause. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent from the front end to the valet parking and they were quick to help you with any requests. Fantastic service!

The location is FANTASTIC, especially for getting around the city on foot. Saltlik is one of the best restaurants in the city and is only a very short walk away. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! We were put in a room right above the rooftop seating of a nearby restaurant on a Friday night. I was concerned at first as the music was blaring. To our surprise, they shut down at 10pm and it was quiet from then on, which we really appreciated as we had our young son with us.

The pillows were really the only thing that weren't amazing and the lack of a microwave. That's all I can think of!
