I love the decor and the detail surrounding the theme. A sense of luxury and elegance that added to our experience. Very modern, clean and perfectly located in central downtown. All was a walking distance. Staff at front desk were wonderful, helpful and also the Valet was useful. Would have loved to have time to enjoy the facilities and the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast was also excellent with lovely servers. The bathroom is spacious and modern and offered a good relaxing shower time except for some faults as explained later. Beds and pillows gave us the perfect night sleep.

I did not understand the housekeeping procedure. Although the hotel encourages the guests to not ask for HK for sustainability purposes, the shower door has gaps and the water leaks was uncontrollably. Unfortunately we walked out of the shower into a puddle every time. So we had to call HK only for them to not redo the room, not refill the fridge and remove the glasses or replace the towels. Indeed the towels were not all placed on the floor as requested but when we ask for HK i was hoping for the basics to be done and replenish the towels maybe.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and very modern. We loved the extra touches in the room such as the pictures on the wall. The bathroom is so nice and big with a huge walk in shower. There is also very good lighting everywhere with night lighting which are motion activated. The staff are also super friendly.

The only problem we found was we ordered bed in breakfast the first and only morning we stayed there and at first we were delivered the wrong breakfast then when our right breakfast arrived is was cold and there was no butter for the toast so we had to ring reception once again.

Stayed 5 nights on a Dad and Daughter vacation and really enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent, 2 beds with city view on the 19th floor. Very clean hotel. Nice touches throughout the building and room of the Dorian Grey story. the breakfast on the second floor was great as well as supper in the first floor lounge. The real winner is the staff. Everyone from the desk, cleaning staff and doormen were fantastic and welcoming. Major kudos to the doormen who were always happy to help with directions and questions about the city. Location was perfect, walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The cleaning staff also deserves a shout out as when our room was cleaned the daughter would find all her stuffed animals neatly tucked in under the covers. Nice little gesture from the staff that she enjoyed. Highly recommend this hotel.

That we had to leave and fly home after 5 nights.

I loved the beautiful detail they put into the rooms. Absolutely stunning. This hotel is definitely a gem. The bed was very comfortable as well. I also like how they put automatic under mount lighting on the night stands and bathroom vanity. Very convenient for when you have to use the washroom in the middle of the night. The comfort level and cleanliness were spot on as well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The gentlemen who checked us in was the most friendly, welcoming and accommodating front desk clerk I’ve ever come across. This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back.

It’s a very attractive hotel with a nice cafe on the main floor with lovely cafe staff.

I paid extra for a city view which was a view into an adjacent office building, so I’d recommend not paying extra for that. Cleaning was just ok… I did vacate my room late at 1 pm but they didn’t change out my used glasses and mugs or replenish the mini bar which I usually expect at a luxury property. The lobby is very strongly perfumed which is a health issue for some guests.

From check in to check out was very smooth. The day was very enjoyable and comfortable. I Mostly like the kindness of the staff, the decoration of the rooms and the prompt response for any request. I think the Dorian is the best in Calgary . Special thanks to Ms.Gabriela for her excellent provided service, help and kindness.

No variety for breakfast and room service wish it has more to offer

The decor was amazing, really high quality furnishings and fittings, real classy and funky. The downstairs resturant was stunning, the pianist was a lovely touch of an evening.

I loved the attention to detail. The Dorian Gray theme throughout the entire complex is very cool. The fitness Centre is the best I’ve been in any hotel. The restaurant on the 27th floor, The Wilde on 27, is phenomenal - cocktails, food, staff, ambience - all top notch. Rooms are well equipped, beautifully designed and most of all quiet and comfortable. Staff are ALL friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Location is perfectly situated in downtown, walking distance to river pathways as well as 8th Avenue.

I liked the size, layout and quietness of the room. Plus an amazing shower with space for our own toiletries. ALSO. This was the ONLY hotel on a 14 night vacation that actually didn't take the towels we hung up! As long as there is a place to dry towels, I happily use them again. You may consider installing another bar in the room - the hook works OK as long as you flip the towel halfway through drying.

Needed to ask for a luggage rack to keep the suitcase off the floor. Brought up promptly, but still.

The Wilde Restaurant on the 27th (top) floor serves outstanding food, great cocktails and offers an excellent view over Calgary's downtown. The overall theme of the hotel is well thought through, well expressed in the decor and the little details in the rooms like a copy of Dorian Grey on the bedside table.

THe entrance to the hotel doesn't jump out at you as you drive up. Kind of a speakeasy feel to the street entrance, tucked in beside another hotel. Not sure if this is intentional or if they just need better signage.
