We stayed at this property and truly appreciated the generous amount of space and the fact that most of what we needed was available. The kitchen had all the essentials (to cook you need to bring anything yourself, only coffee is provided), and the overall setup made for a comfortable stay. That said, the furnishings are somewhat dated, and some appliances—like the dishwasher and washing machine—seem to have seen better days. They worked, but not flawlessly. Still, if you're looking for a functional and roomy place with everything at hand, this spot delivers. Just don’t expect top-of-the-line modernity.

Great rooms and plenty of underground parking. Just remember to check in at the other lodge before parking at Palliser as it’s not directly next door (we went in off-season so the Palliser Lodge reception was closed)

Lovely place, scenery is great, quiet location

I’m not one to nitpick, but was disappointed staying here. The room size, bathroom, bed comfort and balcony were great. A few other minor but important things which I brought up to staff upon checking out. Appreciated the interest in the concerns and they would be addressed. It was the most expensive place we stayed at and I felt it wasn’t quite worth the price. We had hoped to ride the gondola and hike the ridge trails but the gondola was down for repair. Our stay here was short as a result.

The location of this hotel is beautiful, would be particularly perfect for skiing/snowboarding. Few minutes drive back into the town of Golden which is lovely to walk around. Fan was provided in the room which was appreciated as it was soooooo hot when we visited!

The entrance of the hotel was being refurbished when we arrived, but we didn't know to check in at the hotel down the road so it took a lot of faffing about to find out where we needed to go. I didn't receive any communications about this until after we had stayed as internet/signal is hit and miss - obviously no fault of the staff but just something worth mentioning!

The room was nice and compact, the kitchen a little smaller than expected. Had a little balcony but it was too cold to sit outside, sadly.

We had booked about 9 months prior to our stay and a couple of days before arrival were told the lodge we expected to stay at was closed after winter and would only be open again +- 15 June. Then the gondala was also closed. Not what we expected otherwise we would not have stayed here.

The room we were given had an absolutely spectacular view. It was quiet, clean, and felt high quality for the price we paid. The bed was soft and there were plenty of pillows. We would've love to spend more nights in this room!

The blinds did not block out the sun which did make it difficult to sleep during the summer month we were there. The lodge itself did not have a front desk attendant and the Palliser main lobby smelled awful.

Really comfy bed, nice location with great views.

When we arrived there was a sign on the door instructing us to check in at the lodge over the road, which would have been great to know beforehand. When we did check in, it was just an envelope with our key in, don’t see why this couldn’t have been left at our actual lodge. Room was also quite dark, especially in the bathroom - with shower curtain closed it’s very dark when using the shower.

Location is fantastic. Right beside the main resort and can see chair lifts from the balcony. The room was clean

A snack vending machine would have been great as the general store was closed and there is only restaurant further on site but I believe everything is reopening this weekend so probably will be better! We were initially confused about the check in as we had to check in at a different lodge

Loved the location and comfort of the room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The elevator being out of service and having to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs with bad knees. Last year when we stayed at the other lodge the elevator was not in service at that time. So two stays both with no elevator.

The scenery and location was amazing! Nothing like waking up and enjoying the peace and quiet with all the beautiful scenery and a great cup of coffee. Bed was super comfortable and we had amazing sleeps! Tons of walking trails and mountain biking trails. Gondola is just a quick walk or drive away to go up the mountain. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The front desk didn’t give us the keypad code for room door with keycard (didn’t think it would have pin pad). Had to pack all of our luggage back down to our vehicle to go back to main lodge to get room code. No attendants at other lodges, only main lodge. Room was missing coffee mug (thankfully house keeping was on floor to give us another one). No air conditioning.
