We were on vacation with our family, I read the comments before coming, people wrote about many shortcomings, but we really liked everything, I gave this hotel the highest score, for a three-star hotel it is very appropriate. The room also had a refrigerator that worked a hairdryer and a microwave, there was also a small coffee pot, the air conditioning worked, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the bed linen was clean, the towels were excellent, the pool was wonderful, we had great fun, the children were delighted. Bunk bed for children, like a separate cabin. They wrote that people didn’t like breakfast, but I’ll write what was for breakfast - several types of yogurt, milk, 4 types of cereal, buns, pancakes, bagels, apples, oranges, tea, coffee, juices, a sufficient number of disposable boxes for every taste, butter, Philadelphia cheese, 4 types of jams. We ate in the morning and moved on. We will definitely come back to this hotel and to this beautiful city of Windsor! Thank you 😊❤️

The breakfast was excellent. The water slide was a surprise and was fun. The room was larger than expected, and looked like it had been made for three queens or three doubles, and the extra space was welcome. The location was convenient, and being on top of a hill (what isn't in Nova Scotia? 8-)) it had a good view. Check in and out were easy.

I have nothing to complain about, which is always good.

The staff were friendly. The room could have been cleaner. The breakfast was lacking; the quality of the breads was poor. You could smell the preservatives/mould from the breadbox. It’s unfortunate there are no eggs. Windsor was awesome…SchoolHouse Brewery, Chef Dilly’s Food Truck and a show at Mermaid Theatre. We used the texting feature to ask about a cab but the company suggested wasn’t operating anymore.

Friendly welcoming. Reception desk staff were really pleasant and helpful.

Not much choices for breakfast. Bigger selection would have been appreciated (example: yogurts, bananas, pancakes/waffles). Had requested gluten free breakfast at time of reservation, again on the on-line pre-registration and a third time on arrival and the only gluten free food was bread!!!

Location was close to Highway and work site. Staff friendly easy to talk to. Rooms were quiet.

Entrance to parking lot needed to be reworked, If you do not need handicap shower it was awkward as shower head was in the middle of the wall of normal tub. Also fridge was small.

Upon checking in we had a wonderful chat with the staff which really set the tone. The rooms were as expected and comfortable to what we were looking for. Location was easy to find and was very convenient to have the grocery store just up the road for a quick snack.

The Super 8 had a lovely staff. Their breakfast was good. We were going thru a major tropical storm and even though we lost power, it came back quickly. Coffee was good. Room was clean. Had window that could be opened.

Room smelled musty. The room was also very dark. tie backs on the curtain would help. Finally the TV selection was limited and the remote did not work for channeling or volume. We used plastci bags for tie backs to let the sun in.

Very friendly staff and accommodating, probably one of the comfiest beds I've slept in, loved that it was dog friendly, great pool and hot tub and amazing waterslide! Great that breakfast was included too, none others did in the area.

My only complaints would be it's a bit outdated and some of the furniture in the room was dinged up, and the breakfast buffet could use some more selection - I'm lactose intolerant and my fiance is diabetic and we found the options a bit lacking for us. Other than that, great little gem!

Very close to locations we had on our list to visit. Well maintained as well.

The internet was working well at all. Hard to make plans for the next day when kept disconnecting.

Hotel was very clean..a rarity nowadays even in pricer hotels. Linens were beautiful and plentiful. Great location..you can walk to several convenience/ fastfood or a major grocery store.The BEST part of our stay was the receptionist!! I think her name was Emily( she worked eve shift (Oct28/29). She was so genuinely friendly, great sense of humor,efficient and went out of her way to be helpful with whatever little emergency popped up during the weekend of my sons wedding. Every one of our family and friends that stayed at the hotel commented on her service afterwards.

If I had to choose one thing it would be the pool..I only stay at hotels with pools because we are a family of fish lol. The pool is WAY too shallow to swim in. That being said however,the slide was fun and the shallow water was perfect for my granddaughter who is a toddler. The hot tub was lovely as well.
