Great value. Great location (5 min from the heart of downtown, waterfront area). front desk clerk upgraded us to a king bed room without asking. the guests were spread apart. I didn't swim, but pool looked nice. comfortable beds, clean rooms. probably $60+ a night cheaper than some other brand named hotels in town. The owners are clearly trying.

exterior is a little dated, but rooms are nice inside. wifi was a little mystifying (your connect, then open a browser and go to wyndhamrewards.com to bring up a screen to enter password which is written on your room hey holder).

The staff were lovely and welcoming. Jaspreet when we checked in set the positive tone and Tina was excellent at check-out. She was friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. A wonderful Ambassador for the brand. Breakfast was continental and to be expected for what was being charged. Proximity to the historical area and their quaint shops was a bonus. Quite a scenic route drive to the Super 8. It was minimalist but allowed for a clean, dry, warm sleep.

A little more rustic than I expected. We were not used to a motel stay though it is easier to transfer your luggage when you park right outside your room door. Not used to being on the ground floor. The television did not have the clearest crisp images but we weren't there to watch tv. Hard to critique the photos online as they will obviously look different in the summer than in the fall.

Although the motel is a little bit older than other motels/hotels (the ones just off the highway), it is very well maintained and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Because this motel is a couple kilometers from the 401, it was nice and quiet. The king-size bed was very comfortable as well. The "continental" style breakfast was good too; just right to start your day. We will be back :)

The only issue we had was the floor. There were many dusty boot prints in the room when we arrived (# 117).

When I entered my room, it smelled lemony fresh!!! :) The workers were very diligent and saw me cleaning my car and asked if they could please put a microwave in my room because they had removed it to clean / repair it. Saw the maids spend lots of time in each room EVERY day!

our room was loaded with ants. Not really anyone's fault. Just an issue that happens when you are on the main floor and they can get in easily. My non perishables however, were thrown out, costing me money. (container of muffins, bag of bagels, container of croissants, etc.) Breakfast felt a little bit like someone was watching us all the time. Made us feel like we shouldn't get a second cup of coffee, or because we thought we weren't hungry and only grabbed something small, then realized that we were actually more hungry and would have liked to get something else, we did not feel like we should.

We enjoyed the pool upon arrival, it is a nice one. Also, the two lobby clerks and the housekeeping lady were very sweet. The room was nice clean (bedsheets, washroom etc) and renovated not too long ago (not recently but still looked fresh, i.e. shower & sink counter, room decorations like paint and paintings, curtains). Half the rooms are at the back of the motel, which added privacy. They have a recent-ish barbecue, we will take advantage of it next time! Breakfast was nice too, we were happy to find hard-boiled eggs and waffles. Great value.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast surprisingly plentiful (waffles, toast, egg, cereal, yogurt, juice, fruit, coffee, tea, etc). Cheapest overnight stay in the whole area. Quiet even though the place was right off the main road and was full; parked right outside our room. Staff excellent.

Very shabby, everything needs “a lick of paint”. But it is an old establishment. The reception area is more modern and very comfortable. The dining area is clean and nicely laid out. The pool looked nice and they were preparing it for opening up shortly, but we were there in late winter/early Spring.

Double queen room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Peaceful location. Delicious waffles at breakfast. Chose this place for its proximity to Treetop Trekking 1000 Islands (20 mins drive) on the way back to Toronto from Montreal. Do have a meal at the 1000 Islands Restaurant and Pizza in the centre of town. Enjoyed the mini golf nearby too (2 mins drive). Very good value for money.

The WiFi service in my room did not work. My computer could not connect by the wireless Wi Fi service. I entered the password that was given to me when I checked in. The Wi Fi access code is brock2050 and I entered it in the space provided several times during the evening and the connection to wi fi did not work. Reported to Miss Tina Lovell at breakfast time on Sunday morning, just before I checked out and left the property. She said she would investigate. Everything else with this motel was acceptable. Breakfast was good cos boiled eggs were provided for protean End of my comments

Very clean spacious room loved the bed and water was always hot. Pool helped on the heat wave days

Only thing was just that ther was no.where for me.to empty my garbage bins. After 4 days the water bottles were lined up on.thr desks. And the ac was great but would go strong then die then go.strobg then die like a rhythmic beat

I had eye surgery at brockville General hospital. The hotel was across the street from the st lawrence eye centre. It was a quick executive cab ride to the hospital about a 10 dollar fare to get there and 10 dollar fare back. Swiss chalet delivered our supper. The mgmt team at the super 8 was very accommodating, courteous and professional. The breakfast was awesome and the coffee was to die for. I walked to my follow up appointment across the street and was cleared to drive home. I have another upcoming eye surgery no date yet, but will do the same next time. I will stay again at this awesome super 8. Tell Mr de silva you saw this review, he and his staff will take very good care of you. Thank you super 8 John
